Monsters DO exist... monster war games, that is. 😉 Morale? What's that? Raid on Rommel? Wasn't that a movie? James Mason & Richard Burton? Ha! Modifiers for those actors! Huzzah! Water pipeline rules 😐 Italian pasta rule? 🍝 Design notes: "CNA is virtually unplayable as a game." Run; run away from this game as fast as you can! RUN!!!! 🏃 Call Noffie Berg & Dunnigan!! ROFLMAO! Neat vid just checking this game out. 👍 I do like checking out how war games are designed and how they work. I love taking this kinda look at a beast of a "game". Very cool vid. 🍻📈
Wasn't the Italian water pasta rule not actually real? Also, 'morale' is more realistic than you think. Fact 1: Soldiers/armies do require morale/high spirits; Fact 2: There is great uncertainty, even randomness, in warfare; and your army can become demoralised and even give up, even if they are forced to keep fighting on the battlefields. These two facts tells us that the 'morale roll' or such of the ilk is actually fairly realistic, at least, if it's used properly. For example, if your army has been fighting for 4 years non-stop, it's likely that they will be giving up hope. Humans cannot fight forever. The Germans learnt this the hard way by 1943...
Excellent overview. Thank you Sir!
What is that intro music? I've heard it before!

I can’t imagine playing this game. Too advanced for me that’s for sure. But good job, Jason.
I have a copy listed on eBay.
