I agree. I remove completely the strap clip. Currently i use a Smallrig cage and attach the strap to it. The weight is 200g more but the grip is better as it has an handle extension. The grip is super with it. But it is heavier. I will buy a fast strap to use the camera with a gimbal but i will not reinstall the dring. That is certain. The cage protect also the camera and i can attach my mic and a Led light, i can attach an top handle and a left handle if i want.
Doesn't that mean that the camera is still overheating just as bad but now it's not turning off to protect itself? Like it's raising the temp that it find acceptable. Wonder what impact this has on the lifespan of the camera

@@camicees for now I can’t justify the price of a7siii. And my computer not strong enough. When I can afford I’ll buy a cinema cam like fx3 So I think I’ll go with a7c for now for my music videos
Great video Camilo. If not too much of trouble, can you make a video on a PP setting for like best straight out of camera footage with no need of grading in post ? I think it will be great for people who don't have enough time to grade LOG footage and want to pump out videos fast. I come from Fujifilm where straight out of camera colors are so beautiful but I upgraded to A7C because of better AF. I do not want to trigger any debate but the SONY SOOC video looks pretty terrible compare to Fuji. If not too much trouble please consider making it. Thank you.
I am glad I have clicked on this video even if it is only for this little tip about rubber which will quiet those metal clips, I was actually thinking you gonna tell like everyone just to remove it and I have been guilty of it with my last three or four cameras and now I’m thinking how stupid I was because I could do this little trick now I’ve got to go through all my drawers and try to find those clips where I actually put them . shit thanks for that

I just received this camera, and that strap hook noise is frustratingggg !! But it's not really easy to take out that hook, specially because it already has a plastic cover to it. How did you take that out?

I just got my A7c .... When it's turned off something inside it shakes around, when it's turned on the shaking thing stops. Is this normal?
Yep that's the sensor. When you turn it on the image stabilisation also turns on so you don't hear it
