Thanks David. I’ve been up twice now, the first time I went up from Seathwaite and did a loop that takes in the corridor route. Personally I prefer that route. It’s not so steep but that’s because it’s almost twice as far, but I personally think the views are better… providing you get the weather of course. Enjoy whichever route you take 👍🏼
Your son is hilarious, it’s good you get him out doing this when most kids are sitting at home his age playing mindcraft. Some good training for your upcoming 3 peaks. I have a picture of my granddad leaning against that round stone circle things from 1934, I’m still get to go up scafell pike.
Don’t be fooled, he would rather be on the computer games and spends too much time on them, but he does enjoy getting out sometimes so can’t fault that. Given your Insta comment, have you now made it up to the top?
@@pipes-hikes yeah I made it, still feeling it today Monday, it’s a tough old hike up to the top, and as mentioned saw lots of little lights heading up from Wasdale. I think watching your video here gave me the inspiration to do the camp, I just got the dji mini 3 pro and put some reels together. I’ll sponsor your page soon. It will be a great experience doing the 3 peaks.
Brilliant video. Well done Bertie. you are amazing x
Well done Bertie! Hope your dad bought you another bag of jelly babies.... essential food for every hiker 😂
Haha we always have a pack at the ready 👌🏼
Excellent video! Looks like a nice route up. I’ll be doing this for the first time next year so will definitely consider your route!
