- Auto Market is crashing!!! Forced to sell bronco after 6 months!! Well... Forced maybe a strong word. Reality is, we don't need two Broncos! Do not think this is the end of Bronco content, it is the end of the big bend however. The Wildtrak is still in the garage and will remain there. We tell our final thoughts on the six months of ownership 5,000 miles of memories in the 2022 Ford Bronco Big Bend. We have the cactus Gray v6.

Because of high prices, now when I see a Bronco Raptor I don't think about it looking cool, I just think about how stupid the person was for purchasing it.
These broncos are overpriced by $10,000, even before the dealer markups.
I feel like people have been saying that for decades of successful Wrangler sales. 🤷

@@PerformanceOnWheels overpriced because of EPA and CAFE standards which are more onerous the shorter the wheelbase. Thus no other manufacturers are going to produce these small wheelbase ICEVs anymore. Thus if you want one, you have to pay the price of government messing everything up. It will only get worse as CAFE standards become much more oneous in the coming years. By 2030, nobody can manufacture vehicles like these anymore. 19 State attorney generals are threatening to sue the Federal government about this.
Facts! Especially the 2 door version, it has less space than a compact SUV.

Greetings from March 2024. Ford dealer I had a good experience with buying a new Mustang has 86 Bronco Sports all about $4k below MSRP listed on their website.
I've been seeing Raptor R's for over $150,000 - $200,000. Insanity if anyone pays that much for them

Hmm…also in MN. Wife recently put in an order for a 2-door at MSRP…wants specific color and options…not concerned about the wait. But while going around to test drive and check out colors in person, many dealers were still showing a markup. Didn’t seem the dealer markup BS was over.
Definitely some out there above MSRP. We have a good bead on which dealers operate in that manner. There are 100% dealers that have inventory and at MSRP. I would run like the wind to any dealer looking for above MSRP at this point.

I’ve had my 2022 bronco since October 22! Very reliable as everyday driver and when I ordered it in July 2021 I had a price freeze in place! So, when I received it, the price had gone up 5k but it didn’t impact my purchase!!👍. The car market is like the stock market, you have to be research oriented and up to date on market conditions before you make that decision to buy. Very happy with my big bend and good on gas.
The Sasquatch package isn’t just about larger wheels and tires. Outside of the Wildtrak trim (which is standard with this Sasquatch package, optional on all others) varies in price depending on which trim you add it to; less expensive on a Badlands, than a Big Bend or Base. The gear ratio of the front/rear differentials is also something to consider, as it is expensive to do this aftermarket. My take has always been, you can option a Bronco with the Advanced 4 wheel drive option and add a rear locker on most trims (except a Base I believe), this is the way I’d recommend most people who don’t want to pay extra for the Sasquatch package or a Badlands/Wildtrak trims. I won’t even consider a Raptor because they are considerably more expensive and if can afford (and find one) you’re not debating on the price of anything else I’ve mentioned. ✌🏼
I ordered my Big Bend in March 2022, got it in March 2023. Paid around $6k below sticker. Easiest vehicle I've ever bought.
My big bend has the sas pkg.,hero switches, 4 door hardtop and rear hitch. All of the goat modes.

Sorry but your wrong about dealers having Bronco’s on their lot at MSRP…Yeah there might be a few out there but all the dealers near me have 5k market adjustment added. One dealer is even adding 10k-25k market adjustment on regular trimmed out models, like the Big Bend etc.
I work at a ford dealer. We had 14 here last week at MSRP...

Mine was crap! And I blame it on both, Ford Co and the dealership. Both came back with a higher price than agreed and what was shown in Ford’s order website. Add to that a $5k markup adjustment by the dealer on a reservation! Needless to say I walked away. I was sad at first but now I am glad I skipped that mess. Went from Ford Bronco fan to hater of all things Ford.
Have a jeep that’s over 20 years old. Just bought a ‘24 bronco and it broke down at 20 miles. It had 8 miles on it when I got it and I drove it a whole 12. It’s a cheap novelty imo.
Bought a ford 80s taurus back in the day and tranny failed 2x after 3rd failure was done with ford. More than 20 yrs later bought my son a used ford escape and abs went out. 6+ months out on a new one and brake lines near impossible to find. And that model yr had lines with different connectors than the rest of the years. I see Ford's big FUs have not changed one bit.
Almost every California dealer is marking up from 5-20k, I just ordered mine from a Michigan dealer for msrp!

I used to work for GMPP, general motors protection plan and I was shocked when I discovered they wouldn't warranty any of their HUMMERS. I couldn't understand why, then I discovered the world of toys and trucks. I eagerly awaited new Bronco then saw what they were and laughed, especially when I saw the price tags. I am an avid Ford truck owner and I would never buy a new truck. I found a 96 Bronco and fixed it up step by step. It didn't cost me anywhere near $70K. Car dealers are not your friends, car manufacturers are not your friends, they are all here to milk you out of every dime they can! Once you sign on dotted line, the big smiles and the welcome kissing goes right out the window and they could care less. You are buying a pile a garbage the depreciates the instant you sign for it. Oh and let's not forget the oil we are "running out of" buy electric? Where does electricity come from to charge your toy? What's that? Burning fossil fuels? Oh ok, but your are cool bro, happy motoring.
You don't buy a vehicle like this to roll small tires. But for newlyweds like you too this is a great vehicle

They asked for 10k over for my Heritage edition but we drove 2 hours away and got it for MSRP in January.
Market adjustment is a nice way of saying you’re going to be screwed and way upside down on the value of the vehicle through the entire sales contract. Yet 3 years later the dealers are still attempting to stick it to the buyer. This is why vehicles are sitting up to 200 or more days on the dealers lots. Plus the crazy interest rate even if one has excellent credit. The interest rate being so high the buyer buys the vehicle almost twice in interest. Again, upside down with the value during a trade in attempt and stuck with the vehicle you purchased a few years back. . Manufactures and the dealers greed did this to themselves. Now buyers are waiting on the side lines due to all the above stupidity. Unless one is so hard up and must buy, it’s nuts to purchase at this time. Just fix and drive what ya got for now. Let the dealers soak in their own stew until they produce some great marketing and manufactures have a big zero interest for months. Then the vehicles might be affordable without you giving up your first born to purchase. I have no sympathy for these high roller crooked dealers that took advantage of all buyers over the past and present.Oh, thanks Brandon you did this. This was your economic plan that ran down your leg.

I love my 2dr Cactus Grey OBX Lux /leather. Sas looks awesome and I often regret not getting it, but I will not off-road. I won't even take it down a dirt road. So, Sas would have been a waste on me. Plan to upgrade to slightly larger tires, soon and better wheels.

There was this thing called a pandemic going on that literally effected almost every car manufacturer.
Built and sold two of them. Glad i did, they are worthless now.

Keep it as simple as possible. The electronics are gimmicky. The 4x4 tricks and everything work for a point. The bells and whistkes are for the people that have too much money that will never ever use any of it

you forgot to mention you cant flat tow [reliably] without fear of destroying the transmission. like i did behind my rv. $6,300 worth. ford refused to cover under full warranty 5k miles. POS!

Ford is probably the worst car company in the world. They had the opportunity to successfully release one of the most beloved off-roaders. They dropped two of my orders with no explanation. I gave up and glad i did. I doubt the dealers will even be able to provide maintenance and repair down the road

@@quanttumflare7659 COVID definitely came at a bad time for Ford, but they still haven't caught up. They fuqed up a number of people's custom orders and now don't even offer the base model anymore. The confusion around the release of the Bronco Sport was weird too. I still want one, but it's still hard to trust that there will be parts available if needed
