I traveled in HS exp in 2009-10 in second ac and that time fare was around 1200 to 1400 and fare increased but the speed is same not changed a bit. Services are good but avg speed should increase at least double but sadly it’s same even after 12+ yrs. Railways need to
Increase speed.
Fully agree. It is now close to 9 months since the Pune-Solapur-Wadi section was fully doubled and electrified and yet these trains from Mumbai CSMT/LTT to key cities like Bhubaneshwar, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad-Secunderabad, Coimbatore, Vishakapatnam, Thiruvananthapuram that use Pune-Wadi-Guntakal-Renigunta sections crawl at an average speed of 55-58 km/hr. It is time for the railways to speed up the trains on this arm of the golden quadilateral and bring them at par with the average speeds of some of the superfast trains on the Delhi-Howrah, Delhi-Mumbai, Delhi-Chennai and Howrah-Chennai arms of the golden quadilateral. Take Hussain Sagar express - very popular train on Mumbai-Hyderabad section. 14+ hours is way too long given this train now runs on LHB coaches and with an electric WAP4/WAP7 loco end-to-end and with no single line sections to contend with. Mumbai-Hyderabad should be covered in about a little more than 12 hours. Not sure what the railways are doing to speed up these trains.
@@vishwa.k1541 Great that Pune-Solapur-Wadi was electrified & doubled, I didn’t know that, I’m still thinking it is single line, if it is double line then definetly the speed should increase at max speed of at least 130kmph then only all trains going this section the travel time will be less. Definitely railways should increase speed to 3 figures.
See if train gets late then it can recover if average speed is less
I recently travelled in 2AC. It does not have mobile charger for side lower births and regualar lower birth. Only upper birth has mobile charging unit. Coach is LHB make any specific reason?
Coach must be older one ..
@@RailwayGetaway It was manufactured in 2010-11. I could read that just outside the door.
Nowadays the no of sleeper coaches are very low after conversion to lhb😮
True
How many are sleeper coaches now?
@@kumardarapareddy1 only 2
Biutiful सफर
Is there still a single line after Pune/Solapur ?
No .. completely doubled
32:39 single electric line coming from❓❓
This train is perennially late, every day!!!
❤❤❤❤❤

Ah, the dirty windows, constant horn blowing, and the thud thud thud of the badly maintained flat wheel. Someone is riding on Indian Railways! 😂
Probably you should take up the job of Rly minister.
@@jujuthsukumarchakraborty1900 I am happy with my job running a software company in California, no thanks!
I love trains, and I love the new VB rakes especially. However, as the largest employer in India (perhaps the world) I would think IR has a lot of manpower to fix this flat wheels and clean the rakes regularly. But no…
I can guarantee you, 50-60% of the IR videos have noisy flat wheels. They not only cause a lot of discomfort, they also sap efficiency.
What are you expecting :) only recently LHB coaches have come into full prominence, otherwise we were still traveling in the melodious but very unsafe ICF coaches. We are progressing and I am more than happy to give our railways more time.
It was just what 8 yrs ago we were dumping human waste on tracks wasn't it?
@@rahulmn5908 Yeah, but wheel maintenance is not a LHB v/s ICF thing. Nor is it related to bio vacuum toilets. This is basic maintenance without which you get a very noisy and uncomfortable journey. Washing coaches is part of the maintenance as well.
@@Danin4985 Understood, dekhenge, abhi there are train washing stations coming up in various places.
