is of a winter evening where guests are arriving for a beautiful dinner and as they remove their fur coats you get a sexy whiff of Chanel extrait.Another eau de toilette that evokes the exact same image for me is VOL de Nuit by Guerlain.

Love your review Dacob! I checked out eau premiere the other day and I was kinda blown away. As a guy I’m trying to venture out into edgier perfumes than the typical masculine perfumes that I currently have. I might have to check out the parfum as well!
The parfum is a whole other level of incredibly wonderful!

I love this! Always love your Chanel unboxings, but especially of your Chanel No. 5. I have a cheap leather watch, but really like it because it always absorbs the smell of my perfumes. However, Chanel No. 5’s presence is always there to some degree no matter if I wear others. Of course, Chanel, No. 5 is rotated more frequently than my many others. I love the way it stays on that watch and adds a little something extra to whatever scent I wear. Love it to pieces!

Wow, N5 pure parfum is pure perfection and class.
It stays on my skin for more than 20 hours and it comes back to life when I take my next shower.
And yes, you are right, N5 evoques a clear and joyful winter day in the mountains. Peace, the unique purity of new snow and the smell or the wind caressing the pine trees. I would add a bottle of champagne to make it even more perfect.
What a glorious way to celebrate your birthday. I would partially quote Audrey Hepburn and say: Chanel N5 is always a good idea.

So happy you got your refill. It’s always been metal casing, though it has been different sizes. It was 1/5 oz for the longest time in various shapes (shorter and thicker or taller and lean ;)) Now I need to look if I have refills for mine. I’m having difficulty finding my favorite No19 perfume in any form. Nothing on line. I guess I need to start calling stores . Enjoy your No5. I’ve been wearing L’eau (and the rest of the No5 family lately, thanks to you.) Cheers!
Thanks Theresa. It has not been metal casing for the longest time. Its been plastic in fact. Just the golden ring was metallic. I have all the variants of the 7,5ml as well as the now discontinued 15ml refillable No5 parfum atomizers. The current metallic version is my favorite though. Very well made.

I can tell you there is a huge difference between Russian snow and for example British snow. The aldehydic crispness of the Russian snow is breathtaking, it tickles your nostrils inside and fills you with anticipation of Christmas/New Year's Night, the most magical time for kids. British snow smells like Russian spring when snow starts melting down on the trees and literally dripping off it.. Climate and humidity in particular plays a HUGE role in smell of snow. And you're not far from being right about snow and cocooning, as it does feel warmer after the heavy snowfall even with -20. I'm going to stop now talking about the snow and its smell, as I can talk about it for hours. And wish you a belated Happy Birthday, and send you a big fragrant hug! Don't be sad or nostalgic for more than a few minutes, there's so much more beautiful still to come into your life! 🐘PS: Absolutely love your shirt !!!! Fabrics looks so nice! And your eyebrows are just Mwwwah!!!😍

Honestly, I love the splash bottles but I prefer No5 parfum in the spray format. It just smells better to me when sprayed as opposed to dabbed. 💖💖💖

Hello Dacob how long does that last you? Do you wear it often or just special occasions? I know this might sound like a stupid question but do you just spray your wrists with the extrait? I see so many perfume bloggers spraying ridiculous amounts of perfume all over body hair would you have to do that with extrait version? On that subject can you do a video on correct perfume spray. I watched a perfumed say just put extra on wrist he says bietter to spray than all over the place. Kindly your thoughts on perfume amount of sprays and placement etiquette
