Easily Viscous Vibe is the best sounding one. I have one myself, loved it since I first saw it. A runner up is either Rotovibe (amazingly expensive), or The Depths.

I had an El Capistan. It was great and still stands as one of the best out there. But too many options get us players lost sometimes. I switched to the Dunlop Echoplex and based on function is why I think it’s the best one you can buy.

I know your video is older of 5 years. But Eddie also said he does not like strong effects. Just enough to season the tone, not to just taste the salt and pepper, but taste the steak with a slight flavoring. Something like that anyway. I'm an old guy who grew up in the 70's and 80's.

Probably the best demo of this pedal I've seen. You make the features very clear, and you don't post-eq the sound, which is greatly appreciated. I feel like I really know how it sounds now. Also your opinion of it seems quite sincere. I'm getting one ASAP.

Beautiful tone. honestly I was tuned out even before you hit a comp cus your straight tone is killer but the one I use is the Keeley. The Ego and SP are great too!

I know you were trying man but that's like the worst demo of any products I've ever seen!.. you didn't show half of the sounds that any of them were capable of, you wasted 80% of the time mumbling, you should have had it planned out what sounds each of them could make, at least give the BEST sound for each pedal!.. Not being mean, just trying to help if you ever do one of these again

I have the MXR Uni Vibe...but it seems broken to me.... can't get that Robin Trower sound. The JHS seems to come close... I wonder why the Fulltone Deji Vibe wasn't included here... I'm leaning to the JHS ... thnx

Good demo but please , kill the reverb! It seems to be a common oversight on overdrive/distortion reviews. It detracts from the raw bite of a good rhythm guitar sound. Thanks

I am not happy with this comparison for the speed on the 95 is clearly lower than on both Phase 90. I mean there is just one knob; how hard is it to dial in the same speed...? ;o)

Actually, I was A/B-ing the Sugar Drive and Mjolnir by clicking back and forth on the video. I felt that they sounded exactly the same during the Led Zeppelin riff. The Tumnus didn't sound transparent it added a little bit of color. I think you're right about the Mjolnir being the best but only because the Sugar Drive just seams a little starved for power. However, I don't think it matters because most people use the Klon to shape their tone by stacking it with other drive pedals. I personally would throw out the Tumnus based on what I heard in the video. #unpopularopinion

Good playing man, for me the wampler sound best.the hot rod plexi is great also, it sounds a little fuller and more button compare to the other two but the wampler still stand up.

The "chorus" sound in these guys is the vibrato with the straight signal mixed in. You get "vibrato" just by cutting out the straight signal. So it's not actually a separate circuit, just a switch.

If he would of had it on the modern sound and adjusted the equipment the sampler would have blown the angry Charlie out of the water not a fair comparison

The sampler has to be set on modern so it sounds exactly like the angry Charlie not vintage
