blame the chinese and stupid people who need everything written. When they see a emblem of not so known brand they won't buy it. That's why a lot of cars have name written on the back. Even Tesla did it with new Model 3
The point with logos is that they're universally recognized and they tell you everything you need to know at a glance. No reading or translation necessary. I'm also not a fan of having the model name stretched across the entire panel like a billboard. I disregard the entire car for those faux pas. Its sad when you run out of new ideas, but sometime carmaker just don't know when to leave well enough alone. A square steering wheel is not superior to a round one and it never will be. Hold on a second, with this reveal is Opel/Vauxhall now the only legacy automaker whose entire lineup is available electric? The Crossland just got replaced with the Frontera and this Grandland replaces the old one and those were the last holdouts I think.

Hopefully they've improved the electronics. My 2023 Astra electrical system shit the bed after 5 months, been sat rotting away at the dealership for 4 months now waiting for parts.
Looks like a very good product inside and out! And design wise it’d look good as an EV or ICE car. Stellantis has a dearth of compact suvs in America, so I’m surprised why they don’t do a version for The US market. This looks like it’d do quite well.

Opel with no chrome. Never thought I would witness that in my life.
Manta 1982 - 88, Corsa 1982 - 99, Kadett E 1985 - 91, Astra 92 - 2003, Calibra, Vectra 1989 - 99 actually had no chrome, apart from name and emblem.

The new 3008 is ugly, this one is better. Also Opel always had a firmer suspension. Just a question of taste I suppose.
3008 is somewhat agressive, this is to bland, waiting for the Lancia or Alfa take on this platform. Liking the interior of the Opel.
It's German 😂
I find it amusing that they are concerned about the sustainability of using chrome on the vehicle which uses tons of rare earth elements in the battery. 😂
Pandering. Almost all these eco and sustainability talks by corporations are just the latest trends in marketing.
And most ‘chrome’ is just plastic anyway 😂
Rare earth elements are not used in batteries, however they may be found in a few types of motors.
