Got some coil overs for my car and followed your video. Got the front 2 done in just over an hour. Got back, and now I've been trying to do the rear. The sway bar links are so rusted, finally managed to loosen it and it just forever spins but doesn't come off. I've got the 2 replacement links ready but just can't get the old rusted ones out. Any tips?
@@MitchelYardley Yeah both ends are completely stuck. Bought a dremmel online, as soon as it arrives I'm going to cut it off. Rear suspension is still in though. Undone all bolts and suspension bolt on the bottom but it won't budge. Think I have to undo the top control arm
Which coilovers have you tried and recommend? Tien bad? What about BC $1400 or yonaka $800 or Tien z $1200. Which did you get? Notany options under $2k here in Canada and I was hoping to get under $1k.. also just under $1k options are Koni streets with eibach or Bilstein and eibach springs for a bit more
Mitchel Yardley dam I’m a little disappointed at full 16 clicks it’s probably where I would say they’re starting to get stiff Starting to have buyers remorse
Great work great visials well explained.
Appreciate that!
Thanks for that, it doesn't look as bad as i expected!
Nice Tutorial. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
Great video nice and clear lots of options need to replace my old on near rear side

Rust is always bad! Your best bet is to just cut the studs off. Is it stuck on both the control arm side and the sway bar?

There is an Allan key for the middle you can use to prevent the thing from spinning... Usually using the air gun works well though

Tein are good coilovers. I’d stay away from yo aka. BC are good. Feal is what I have. Fortune auto also good
Visuals!
Do you have to compress the springs when swapping out suspension?
Not when it’s a Coilover, the stock suspension might need to get the shock springs compressed because it’s really long
Why u selling them?
I had my old set of Feal Coilovers I wanted to use
Mitchel Yardley The time coil overs are nice but just not quite sporty enough for me
Yup that’s why I sold them!

@@Onelovej is the yonaka ones better than flex z? Not many options here in Canada and the cost way more than in USA
Great video! I assume with stock springs it's the same deal more or less.
Little more difficult with stock suspension as it sits taller, so harder to take out.
@@MitchelYardley yep just watched the stock shock replacement too... The rear shocks you need to turn the spring while moving the arms up and down.
Yup! Exactly what I had to do on the stock bilsteins on my last NC! I thought that was funny
@@schwinnbiking Which video did you watch for the stock shock replacement?
