I love how he only carries an air about him of being an ordinary human being, yet he's so comfortable doing what he does together with other musicians without any sense of being intimidated nor feeling superior to the rest. I obviously don't know Jacob for who he is but that's just what I sense from what he's putting off. Truly an inspirational character.
I wonder. He can get only to heaven when his sins are forgiven and he's totally given over to Christ. If not, he will only live in our memories. And, when we die, he will be forgotten. Better make sure we are forgiven by Christ. I want to live eternal. Shalom to you.
My God! I remain absolutely in awe of the seemingly endless expression of profound and transcendent talent by Jacob Collier. Let's start out with playing guitar and piano at the same time, and then sing with remarkable agility, range and perfectly in tune (in microtones at 2:16) to a harmonically and rhythmically advanced orchestral arrangement of a beautiful piece he composed that builds to a thoroughly satisfying musical conclusion at 7:10 . . . and do it live, in one take with disarming humility, at only age 22. For some, it might take multiple listenings before it fully grows on you.
When a 22 year-old kid is playing guitar with one hand and piano with the other and doing both better than you could do either it’s time to question your life choices.
