Every time he takes breakfast on the balcony of his villa in the woods, mad squirrels harass him. So this gave him an idea for a new DOtA hero and he immediately phoned to IceFrog XD
Hoodwink also hates mages of all kind for turning the woods into a deathzone by (supposedly, accidentally) summoning the tentacle monster Durana. Also won't turn down a puff, judging by voicelines for Smoke of Deceit and Pipe of Insight.
Does anyone hate this "cutsie" style of characters for dota? Man, I miss when this game used to be kind of dark. Now we have a grandmother throwing cookies while riding a giant smiling lizard.

She is literally windranger. Both have a channeling ability that needs to be charged up before releasing a very fast ground targetted long-range projectile, a stun that only works when there is a tree around, an escape ability that gives ms and evasion, and an ability that scales with right-click damage or attack modifiers. Both are low-health high damage heroes. Both have an annoying mischievous voice.
About that last comment, I've also heard of mixing Vaseline with cayenne pepper and smearing it as that experience tends to stick in their little rodent minds for longer.
i hope they make an anime about dota lores like how and why they became a hero in the lore. so that we can understand the hero not just release a new one without u know part of the story.
@@YY-mk4ti So, Acorn Shot is like Sleight of Fist, Bushwhack is like his bolas, and every item (besides BF) Ember loves, Hoodwink loves. While her skill set is definitely more comparable to WR. WR kind of just runs at people with focus fire. While Hoodwink kind of likes to play the mid-range and spam Acorn like an Ember.
