Unfortunately you are wrong here. Inside the case there is a fold, which prevents water from entering the case when it rains. Also on the sides there are wipers and water drain channels to prevent water from entering the interior.

Quick note to say thank you for building such an intelligently designed trailer. It appears to be quite light weight, nimble and offer the rider total protection while they rest. The telescoping feature of this trailer is true genius, as are the stabilizing legs. Not unlike the collapsible legs on a drummer's floor tom. Quick to use, simple design and works...every time. Great job. -b

To better demonstrate the advantages to this bicycle camper, they should have also shown how it can carry a small, lightweight dining / cooking table, propane stove, dishes, cups, food/drinks, chair, lounge chair, etc. and set it all up at a campground. You have that nice space inside the unit, so you should take along these things that you would like to use when camping, eh?
I would worry about water encroachment from the pull out part into the main camper, it looks like there isn't much in the way to prevent that .. It probably needs some kind of cover or at least a flap or something
more than tempted to build something like your rig I have a MEC child's trailer (20" wheels) and have come up with the slides using 2.5x2 ALU channel and ALU 2x2 angle with 2" plastic wheels for the slide 1/4" birch floor, Aluminum Plastic Composite Panel for walls and roof, the design I am making must break down to be shipped by plane or on rail like VIA or Amtrak
Misha LeBlanc - you can buy commercial sliders that will handle that much load. Check with online suppliers and/or your own hardware store....and please don't sell it. Bobberpsycho has a good idea, we should let him get on with marketing it.
How much weight can the camper hold once it’s set up ? Also can you show a video of you or anyone of average size 5.5-6.1 actually getting into the camper? Looks like it would not be very easy . Thanks
This doesn't need any setting up or taking down, and could be better isolated and arguably more weather resistent. Plus you can store air mattresses bbq etc in this thing too. Thats my look on it!

@@DarthTitanium The problem with tent is that you need to assemble and disassemble everyday. It doesn't support well strong winds like this can. And this is more resistant to rain.
I would like to buy this one but I want it to be connected in the middle, to the rack or seat post, not on the hub. Let me know if you produce it in the future. one of the best designs i've seen but would be better if it were a folding two person camper whilst keeping the size compact.

Like the slide out, but the big gap at the top looks like it would let the rain in and fall right on the crouch area. I do honestly like the design.

Why sleep in a coffin when a smaller lighter trailer can carry tons of camping gear....tent, cots, air mattresses, BBQ...etc...

Camper and bike easy to find, a place where you won't get mugged and still have your bike and camper in the morning...not so much.
Haha, it depends on where you go. Cornwall, amongst other campers = great, London = it's not your camper it bike you should be worried about.

this is not a problem. there is a slope on the top so that the water does not run in.
