The thing about Daniel that stands out to me is his resolve and determination. He flew back and forth from Canada to Vegas many times and many times he went broke. He told a story about how he was at a home game and he lost all his chips and then went to the bathroom. When he came back many of the players had left. He then realized that he was the fish. The players were there to take his chips and once they did, there was no need for them to stay. Despite going broke several times he pushed forward and got better and better. Now, I think it is safe to say he has reached a great amount of success and is an elite poker play. I believe he is one of the greatest of all time.

@@loganehewett9807 You're right. I did miss that part. He still didn't quit and was able to stand on his own two feet, even if he did have help. Most people who are successful in life have had some help at some point whether it was financially, spiritually, or had a mentor that taught them the ropes, except for maybe Phil Ivey or no home Jerome. Apparently he was homeless and went broke many time and still turned out ok. He never quit or gave up either.

    World nr1 is Phill Hellmuth

He’s clearly NOT the worlds #1 player. Every year for the last several, he’s lost damn near a million at the WSOP. Look it up….

I READ MANY COMMENTS THAT HE IS THE BEST PLAYER EVER I HATE TO TELL YOU THIS BUT I DEALT TO STU UNGER AND NOBODY SURPASSES HIM HE IS THE GOAT AND NONE OF THESE YOUNG GUNS CAN HOLD A CANDLE TO HIM

Although nobody was so ahead of his time in tournaments, Stu was still a bad cash game player. Bad enough that pros would bumhunt him. He is probably the gin rummy goat, but in poker, he was too specialized to enter the goat discussion.

Even if he isn’t, he doesn’t have to be anymore. He’s won enough to at least listen to better yourself and your game.
