Thank you for this video. Yes God hates divorce, but because God is love, He hates abuse even more. Abusing a person is breaking the vows of marriage. Advice from an abused husband, "Seek peace and pursue it". 🙏🙏🙏🙏
I was shredded not by a religious spouse but by the sicko leader themselves. Platonic mentor/mentee situation but still horrible. When you just want to follow your calling and God eh? And the twisted heresy comes straight from the pulpit and then later turning all the other sheeple against you. But mostly it was similar to any loved one using scripture to knock you down or keep you under and exalt themselves (Aka pride). And people still wonder why I didn’t even try to go to church for abt 12 years after that. I’m finally “trying” now I guess but also still getting cold feet a lot. And yah. I mean it was fairly mainstream (or at least purported to be). Sometimes a cult is indeed a cult but it looks very “mainstream.”
