First Can I Get Pinned? Pls
Sure! Thanks for watching!
Pin me?
I like how you could make this collossal, like instead of 9 spaces for cactus you could just make it wider (distance from water source to hopper staying the same) and make a row of hoppers instead of 1, then a row of furnace's. thanks for the video explainibg how it works, ill be making a giant one for sure!
Yeh feel free to experiment and see what works best for your world! Thanks for watching, appreciate it! 😁
@minrcraftiron
Bros so smart and does this in 3000 tick speed xD
is that why he gets hella catus?
i have a question i made it 1 by 1 like you but why dont the grow for me ?
to anyone building this: !!DO NOT!! put the stairs on the edges and make the edges higher than the actual farm. The cacti will fall on the edges of the stairs and will accumulate there, same for the normal blocks.
yeah i realized this as i was watching my farm... but what else do I put there to make the cacti not land on the edge blocks?
@@Luna-gm5eq increase the outside blocks so they are at least 2 blocks higher than the highest fence
I have a lot of things wrong with this video, first off, the stairs don't do at all what you said. Second, afking in a tick speed different than the normal tick speed is obviously going to make more levels, this farm normally would burn under half a stack of cactus in like an hour probably, and also the materials list is completely wrong except for the "per layer" resources. If you want to fix the cactus falling out just make the walls higher and build like 15 layers if you actually want xp at all.
Anyone building this, I would highly suggest you make it like 10-20 levels high. This thing produces like old people crawling in a ball pit. It's terrible.... 20 cactus in like an hour.
Also make sure your furnace fuel is empty because like he said, it won't collect if the lever is up. And it'll just burn up your xp if you leave fuel in it.
Do you know why I don’t get xp when taking the green dye out of the chest attached to the furnace
@@benpaffleyExactly because of that. You have to take it out of the furnace to get xp, not the chest.
@@benpaffley had the same issue. I removed the hopper to the chest. it removes the dye from the furance resulting in you never getting the XP
@@benpaffleymake a super smelter first
I thought they removed this bug thingy from bedrock like a year ago
what texture pack are you using
Does this work on realms
first thing I did is remove the lower hopper and chest because if you press the lever in the wrong order/moment you lose all your XP. Why is it there in the first place? you gotta take it out of the furnace anyway, so why hopper and chest?
Easy to make what a smart man
Absolutely amazing! Thank you for the well explained video!
Thanks so much! Glad it was helpful
Does it have to be outside? Or can I also build it underground?
you can build it wherever you want
texture pack ??
also if you want it to be faster you could add more hopper in the bottem increasing effciency
that wouldn't really change the rates at all, the hoppers won't be getting clogged
correct@@hen.5136
what shaders and texture pack are you using?
He's using the Complementary Reimagined or Complementary Unbound shaders
How long does it take for the cactus to grow
About 5mins for one
He changes the tick speed to make it look like it's fast
do you need to use warped fences or will any fence work?
Any fences will work 😁
What’s the point in the chest?
does it work at 1.20.2 ??
what shaders do you use?
solas v2 I think
my cactus won't grow idk what's wrong with it.
Prolly not bright enough put some torches I guess
I have the same problem
this work on 1.20.4?
My uncle built this farm at 30 yo, turned 85 and died before getting 2 lvl.
Hey, @minecraft iron, I’m on Minecraft bedrock on Xbox, and the cactus isn’t growing, any tips?
It won’t grow for me, im also a Minecraft bedrock user. Sadly I looked at other comments who had the same problem so I think he lied and this is not for bedrock users, or at least bedrock Xbox users.
He did not lie unfortunately they patched this on bedrock I’m a Java user but I hope you find a new good farm:)
@@RattyLifeNEdits101 It does grow for me and am on bedrock 1.20, it just extremely slow
my cactus is not growing i dont know why bro
does this work underground??
as long as there is light
Worlds slowest xp farm, I’ve had it for like 30 hrs game time and prob got 1 lvl
You need 10 to 15 layers if you want good xp or try building a afk raid farm
Not getting any XP after collecting the dye? A bit confused
I’m on PS4 to be fair :/
Do you let the cactus accumulate before removing from the furnace or are you removing it immediately?
If you are on PS4 you are on bedrock.
For bedrock you get 0.2 experience for each cacti smelted, which means you need 5 cacti smelted to get 1 experience. The amount of experience accumulates and is only awarded to the next player who removes the dye. If you keep removing the dye before 5 have smelted there is a chance you won't get anything.
Another possibility is if you are playing on multiplayer and someone else removes the dye, the experience accumulated is reset. So if you try removing dye soon after someone else just removed the dye you will also get nothing to very little experience.
To go from Level 0 to 7 like he did in the video you need 91 experience meaning you need to smelt 455 cacti without any other players touching the furnace.
On Java you get 1 experience for every 1 cacti smelt and since the video showed only about 100 cacti smelt before he removed the dye, you can tell he is on Java.
@@fennecfox7137im having the same problem but im confused as to how to actually get the xp, cause there’s nothing in the furnace due to the hopper leading to the chest? how do i get xp if the dye is already in the chest?
@@blizzard_the_seal9863 turn the lever down to stop it from going into the chest so it stays in the furnace to get ur xp
Ngl it didnt rly get me a lot of xp
im not getting a lot of xp
How is that 9000/h☠️
Does it work in servers?
It does! It's basically an experience bank. It has been around forever!
@@Heiligwaterthanks you
Not work bedrock 💔💔💔
Pls reply minecraftiron
Bro can not even set his shaders right, look at that glass (r) yet he's trying to teach xp farms xD
why does my cactus not grow as fast as yours?
Last time i heard this....

He made the random Tickspeed higher, with /gamerule randomTickspeed 150 or any number >8 (8 is normal tickspeed) so you could argu he cheated, but Idk if he put the RTs to normal when doing the test, but I think so
in simple terms, he sped it up
terrible tutorial 😂
