In today's Video, I am showing you how to make an XP Farm in Minecraft Survival... well actually its THREE Minecraft XP Farm Designs that are specifically chosen for you to play in your Early Game, your Mid Game and your Late Game in Minecraft!
3 Really Easy Minecraft Xp Farm Designs for different Game Stages!

These Farms are REALLY simple to build and actually use very few resources (Even the late game one really) and will give you the perfect amount of XP for the level in the game!
I have made this specifically in Minecraft Java Edition, because Minecraft Bedrock Works Differently. Unfortunately, the Enderman Farm will NOT work in Bedrock Edition! (The other two will though!)

My favorite was a double skeleton spawner on an older world that I found caving almost directly under my base. Reset the realm for 1.18 and have only found spider spawners 🤔
I'm still trying to find my favorite, but I really loved your ideas in this tutorial. I've always wanted to build a simple gold farm, but couldn't find a simplistic design. Your Mid level farm was amazing and definitely something I plan on trying out!
Haven't gotten around to completing it, but have a bastion in view and a fortress only a hundred blocks from the nether base, so... think my new favorite will be a blaze farm. The tunnel bridge to the fortress is slow going because I just had to use tinted glass (looks great with deepslate and nether brick).
I thought they fixed the furnace exp glitch? Or does it reset to zero after you pull exp out?
They did, but as Matt F pointed out, the furnace still stores the xp. You won't get the full xp of the chest for every item. You can get the xp of items in the chest since the last pull after flipping lever. Still a good way to get xp from a somewhat auto smelter.

Materials needed for the late XP farm:
-10.25 stacks of glass
-11.75 stacks of leaves
-2.25 stacks of end stone
-1 lava bucket
-2 water buckets
-10 hoppers
-9 carpet
-8 trapdoors
-1 rail
-1 rail cart
-4 chests
-a ready to use name tag
-multiple stacks of ender pearls
-food to keep you alive while ender pearling (I also recommend using potions/golden apples)
This is what I calculated but I may have been incorrect! I recommend getting more than needed just in case.

Very good guide- you explained things very well, step by step, without repeating much or saying anything unnecessary to any new player. Your voice is engaging without sounding bored and monotone, or over exaggerated and too energetic. Great guide mate!
That said, your volume levels are inconsistent thru certain parts of the video. Might wanna go thru it next time and double check everything is equalized.
Simplest one I found out to work best for me was smelting copper; it generates in huge quantities, and drops multiple ores without fortune. Only takes a few stacks to go from level 0 to 30. Do this till you can get fortune 3, then repeat for rest of the tools, but now way faster
Just wanted to say that in the first one, you might aswell turn the logs that were used as fuel into planks
It just saves a small amount of resources

I normally just go straight for whatever end portal has a skele spawner nearby, build a farm/base around that for early game xp/bonemeal, get an auto furnace minecart line going and go straight to the ender ender.
Even though I've been playing mc for quite awhile. It was really nice hearing you break down every step.

Some notes for the cobble smelting farm, you don't need to have the chests separate and in fact it's prob better to have the chests connect and the hoppers will take it out/put it in evenly, you can also re-smelt regular cobble to get smooth cobblestone for the same amount of exp, doubling your exp per block
also if you are using coal instead of charcoal, keep in mind coal blocks (using 9 coal in the crafting table to get the big block, not referring to the coal ore blocks) is about 10% more efficient than using coal by itself for whatever reason but only if you're gonna get the full use of the burn-time of it, since it obviously burns for a lot longer.
Great guide! I had never seen the mid-game version of the pigmen farm before, gonna be giving that a go
For bedrock try building 35 blocks up instead of 41. It gets you just close enough that they can spawn still, otherwise this farm doesn't work on bedrock.
You can easily put a double chest on top and it'll spread it out to the hoppers evenly without having to open 2 chests
This is so funny, your whole "they wanna protect their mate" "waiting for you to have a go at them" is a great addition

What about like an afk raid farm like Impulse made in hermit craft?? That is pretty OP. Man got like 700 lvls overnight lol.
Use planks instead of oak logs as fuel in the furnace, its 4x more efficient

The method you use for the endermite was pretty frustrating. Just have it spawn on the platform and follow you up a set of stairs with a 1 block jump over the minecart that the endermite has to go through to get to you. When the mite was in the cart I could not name tag it, I had to do it before it got in the minecart.

Also a tip for the pigman farm to increase spawn rates of pigmen you can portal tick (When you break the portal and relight it a bunch of times) it helps a lot

@@swagson-dz5hq Sure so what you want to do is break one peice of the portal in the over world then, replace it and light the portal, repeat this as many times as you would like. 😁

the enderman farm is pretty good and tucked away in another dimension so no lag,i've been using just a chicken exp farm i make a very long tunnel fill it with chickens and just keep feeding them to get massive amount of exp but the lag is getting crazy
On the mid farm, couldn't you extend the roof outwards by a block or two in every direction to get better protection from the ghasts?

(bedrock) there was a much more efficient way of getting exp, by placing down 5-6 furnaces fill them to the brim with smooth stone let it smelt down and collect all the stone Individually and from 5 stafks smelted you could get around 35 levels but i think it might of been patched, because now i dont get anything out of them now
nevermind they didnt patch it, i just tested it for some reason only with one furnace it dont give you exp most of the time but with multiple it works, i hope someone finds this helpful :D

Call me crazy, but I like the nether farm the best. Those xp farms will give you tons of xp and gold. You can expand this farm later in the game to make a gold/xp farm that will give you more xp than the end farm, and you can AFK at this farm to get both. I've used a farm like this that gives insane amounts of gold and xp. I'll still use the ender ender for quick xp, but when I need loads, it's off to the gold farm for me.

@@Avomance you know when you get stuck grinding xp and this video solves that instantly, it really is a relevant one, not to mention; accurately-helpful. for the current version the game's in.
I find that chicken farming offers the easiest XP so far, but you have to keep it under control, or the lag and crashes will be inevitable. Just need a good supply of seed and then scatter the farms out. Killing the chickens offers all the food and feathers one will ever need, and gives extra XP, as well.
The midgame farm works super well if you turn it to hard, so may zombie pigmen spawn!
Bring snowballs instead of arrows its cheaper!

my early game starts after beat the ender dragon i jast needs the best xp farm
I'm a big fan of the 1st farm but usually start with 4 furnaces and scale up the more I mine. Biggest farm I made one was 64 furnaces in a 16x16, drop in from the top, arrangement and a flowing water pond to just drop stuff in that would smelt, so I didn't have to manually fill them. The acme level of this farm is adding a cactus farm to automate the feeding and using lava buckets (smelts 100 items) and boom. Fill it and forget about it and do some real world timings for AFK'ing.

Guardian farm is actually the fastest xp farm by quite a large margin because the xp orbs they drop are worth 3x more on average than other mobs
It's also a pain to build, more of a pain than ilmango's gold/xp farm which that one you can just leave the game running in the background and next thing you see when you come back is 150+ levels
a pain in the ass to build. it's top 3 easiest to build, not top 3 best xp farms that will make you end your life. that shit was so frustrating to build and it wasnt even worth it because it gave a lot more xp but any other farm gives enough xp for what you need.

when doing the enderman farm,place the endermite 1 block higher and place it on an iron bar not a block.

Since I only play on peaceful I use mostly smelting for XP. You have a really good recent tutorial on that as well. I've seen a lot of ender man XP farms and it's always made me wonder what it would be like to make blocks out of the pearls. It's fun to imagine what kind of properties they could have. My favorite is an instant but limited ability to transport a player from the over world to a very specific spot in the End. Perhaps to an ender pearl farm.

Zombie pigs I don't seem to have spawning. Tons of normal ones in the area but that is it, as well as skeletons. So the 2nd is currently useless unfortunately 😕
The first one I do an auto furnace all the time, so just added the switches. Got all that pent up XP! Was awesome lol

Zombie Pigmen are not spawning likely because you are evidently in a Soul Sand biome, considering the fact that you see skeletons. Go to a Nether Wastes biome.

The best early game XP farm is trading with villagers, all others yield with less XP
It's super easy to build a small, simple trading hall with like 3-4 fletchers and plant spruce/jungle/dark oak trees nearby, you don't get a lot of XP but just enough for at least some good lvl30 enchants on all parts of your diamond/netherite set until you build enderman farm and get the rest of ecnhants like good sword, boots and helmet enchants
Perhaps best for mid game too, because I did try the zombie pigmen farm in the past and it was definitely less effective
Not everyone wants a villager hunt and not everyone replants saplings

I have a chicken farm that gives insane XP in early, mid, and end game. very hard to beat the simplicity of it. fully automated, all you have to do is go swing your sword once or twice every copule in-game days.

@@wigglybox9845 it eventually evolves to that, yes. early on, you can just start with chickens in a five by five enclosure and feed them once a day. the feeding gives tons of xp, too. when your framerate drops, cull the herd with sword (more xp). you add features as they become available until its automatically collecting and throwing eggs and automatically filtering out the feathers and raw chicken. after a cull, you trade the feathers and raw chicken for EVEN MORE XP! Chicken farms are OP for XP.
I like the enderman xp farm from the video. Getting iron is very easy. Just go to y=16 and dig a 2 high tunnel until you find iron using a strip mine. The only disavantage of this farm is the surplus of ender pearls. But you can build a trash can with 2 observers, a dispenser and a sticky piston when you progress in the mid game.

I've been using the first farming method but instead of furnaces I use smokers and cook potatoes. With a stacked big chest I can get from level 0 to 40 with 1 potato. BTW I've been doing this on Bedrock. 😁

These are great XP farm Avo. I like the first one to start out with as it is super simple and you get plenty of xp. I like the second one but never tried it. The third I hate doing the ender dragon ugh! but that look like a great farm and by that time you do need alot of levels to keep enchanting stuff and repair is almost a most when doing very large projects. Thank God someone else build on on avotopia that they allow me to use as that stuff is scary no matter how many times I see a tutorial. Keep these coming Avo they are great and help us noobies out. 😄☕

F!!k the mid and last but that 1st farm is most op cause you just set up a bigger contraption and more xp + if you have set up a bamboo,lave, and kelp farm like I have then fuel will never be problem and remember u can smelt netherack………(evil laughing) my mending stuff will never run dry
They knocked down the mine cart and it made my bait disappear lmao so I gotta go find another name tag but it worked really well while it lasted other than having a lesser spawn rate than you do but I should be able to fix that

The 1st farm is actually the best, say you furnace around 10 chest full, which you can connect endless, you will get 50 or more lvl instantly each time.

@@blakerosenthal2794 i noticed that when I'm in mine, A lot of Endermen tend to spawn In the area closest to the farm (in the main island). My plan is to place buttons all over that section to see if it improves spawn rates..

It WORKS for me BUT… it’s not the best. The second chest that was placed is the reason why the endermen are escaping. I put a temporary block to stop them from getting out but then there’s something ELSE wrong with the farm. The endermen spawn in perfectly fine however when they reach the bottom they bounce around like a bunch of jumping jacks and lag my server out even whilst I’m hitting them 😂😂. Another thing is that the endermite is definitely NOT stable in the minecart. I watched the actions closely and it spins around in the minecart which forces it to move around a lot which is potential why the endermen bounce around a lot. Other than that the farm works perfectly for the xp so I can’t complain too much 🤷♂️ xp is xp at the end of the day and it’s efficient. I’m going to be building the GOLD and XP farm when I get round to it because I did watch that video as well and looked like a great build ❤️🔥🐺

eh, can you only clean the 8 stacks after the previous eight are finished or when they are just melting???
not sure what this is supposed to mean but you can claim your xp at any time as long as you take an item out from the furnace directly

should be right stick i believe
Shift click is what keyboard players use to duck/stealth. When you do that you can attach things to blocks that would instead open a window or activate them instead of setting a block.
If he says shift click, he just means you need to be in ducked/stealthed mode.

I was mining down the 23 nlock hole and I was at the 22th block and I automaticly decided to mine under me... I fell straight down into a big lava Pool and lost all my stuff

I feel the gold farm is useful but I feel concerned about the possible Ghasts.
