built this recently including a trident killer and 2 sorting systems below. there are so many items that the systems both get clogged if i use more then 2 portals.
when i tested rates, 2 portals work best for gold (1180 ingot's/hour) , 3 or 4 portals for xp.

Can you use water instead of powdered snow? Cause my realm has a snow issue
Worked wonders, I messed up the direction and spent ages fixing it so make sure to follow that map and get it right first time
This is the best gold farm i have ever built for bedrock edition! Great tutorial and also side note you can also use water buckets instead of the snow as i did because the closest snow to me was 8000 blocks away.
yea but the snow bucket gives so much better rates, and on the way for searching for the snow you can gather the other materials that are difficult to obtain like slimeballs

Just go up high in the world and place a cauldron. Go there to afk when it's raining/snowing and then just pick up the snow from the cauldron with a bucket

I setup the same farm with a trident killer but the problem is the hoppers are overloaded(items sit on them), is there is a solution?

You dont need a locator map, moving positive X coordinate = East, negative X is West. Positive Z coordinate = South, negative is North.

how will the item sorter vid in description work? Cus it only uses 1 minecart with hopper as it is for a trident killer farm not this one. Would i just need to add 3 more minecarts with hoppers to fill up the death chamber

I have an issue where the portals stopped igniting and the lava was acting weird, any fixes?
I built one in our realm. I built a skyscraper around it. Also the top level of the skyscraper is a general mob farm at ten blocks away from build height
The video linked in the description for the auto-sorter isn't the one for this farm, its the one for the trident killing farm. I'm not sure how to go about building a auto-sorter system for the farm design in this video.
i would assume it would work somewhat the same, some hoppers where they fall and connect it to a item sorter for each of the items the zombie pigmen drop
No need to space the portals out by 3, can do it spacing them by 2 and fit 6 portals into a single chunk. Observers go in-between sides of the portals. Takes less observers, and fires off more reliably. Additionally, you can use a double edge sticky piston pushing redstone block for clock to all dispensers. It is faster than the observer clock.
I have a one chunk setup with 6 portals that gets 0-30 in 35 seconds.
Ok so me and my friend did a challenge where it’s basically hardcore in bedrock and we found a gold farm but the trident killer was too slow so we just slapped them with our sword but when we went to the nether my friend got jumped by at least 70 zombie piglins I don’t know if it was cause we used our sword or it’s just like that but that ended our world 😢

the mobs keep on going through solid blocks I even got rid of the trapdoors and replaced it with, blocks, stairs, slabs etc
Works so amazing. However turning it off, not all the portals turn off. Some of the dispensers don't drop the snow block.

When should you start counting the rates of an xp farm? Is it when you activate the farm or is it when you got your first mob kill?

If u do trident killer then make sure to do quad trident killer and nothing else or the machine will jam
If you face the observers into one another in sets of two, It will update the Lava faster, increasing the lighting speed of the portals. Increasing the efficiency and output of the farm. Cool tutorial!

@@kylesheehan636 you would place two observers with their faces looking at one another. So they are constantly updating one another. Then you would repeat this in a line over and over.

For people, who are having issues with zombie pigmen not spawning, it is most likely because there's a bug on Bedrock edition where pigmen don't spawn at all below y level 0. You have to build your farm above y level 0, and pigmen will spawn.

How far should I put my main portal from the Pigman farm to avoid portal connections?
You could have it only ten blocks away in the overworld. Aslong as you know how to link portals
dude i finished the farm and it didnt work and them i realised the i broke one block on each portal for the mechanism 😃
I was very hesitant at first, I was looking for a gold farm for about 3 days because one I knew it would take a long time to build and secondly I didn’t want to build a bad one. Although this took some time to build because I’m in a survival world. The levels and loot is insane. I thought it was going to be okay but this is insanely good without a joke, it’s hard for me to comment on a vid but thank you so much. I also added the chests that sort items with my looting three sword, I am stacked. Great video man🫡

Instead of making it to where you have to hit them with a sword, you can make a trident killer at the bottom and it becomes fully automated.
won't zombie pigmen spawn on top of the lava/door platform occasionally? should the portals be 4 blocks apart to improve rates marginally?
Slabs can probably prevent them from spawning
The zombie piglins always spawn at the lowest nether portal block, so that wont happen. The farm is already designed to be most efficient ;-)

Does it matter what biome the Portals go to in nether? Do I need to find a spot where ZPs spawn in nether, then build portal overworld there?

Built one using my own design and i can confirm you that tridents are not recommended for this type of farm that uses multiple portals, it cant keep-up
the piglins are not spawning into the over woadld ive tried it over 30 times still nothin and the y lvl is above 0
If you put doors both sides of the lava could it light two portals? It would save on observer blocks if it did.

I've built exactly the same as in the video with the item sorter as in the description, why do half of the gold nuggets go into the blast furnace instead of the chest sorterer? it makes the golden sword stuck in the chest,, any solution pls?
I'm sorry for this. As far as I know, this is due to lag and the best you will get a sorter to work at these rates. Maybe integrate a second filter.
Add a chest at end. It captures those gold nuggets and other junk. But at least all the unstackables still go to the furnaces.
does anyone know why just 1 portal works? the other 3 doesnt work.. i build everything excactly like this
Can You maby help? I used 6 hours today making this farm and the zombiepigs is not spawning right. They only spawn like after the portal have been sat on for 10 sekunds. And they just spawning on the obsitian on the portal and just stand there. The other problem is i Can get the lava thing to work when i place the lava Block the portal is not turning on. Can You help?

Built it, seems to be working properly; however, I am not getting nearly as many spawns as you are getting. Any ideas why? Im on bedrock edition with 4 chunk sim distance.
You need it to be on hard mode
I made it and used a trident killer with water and impailing tridents so the trident killer kept up with the farm

Created this farm it works great, ive also built your collection system but theres a problem. Some of the gold bars, nuggets and flesh are going into my blast furnace and I cant figure out why?? Please help
I think it's because there's only one minecart with a hopper there whereas you don't use the trident killer to push mobs over it, cmiiw
@@irfanrachmat1438 I had to get rid of the minecart hopper and put normal hoppers there because it wasnt picking up my items
I think it's caused by game lag making the item skip a hopper. So to fix it double up with the filter and just replicate the 3 sorting cells a second time.

The golden swords can clog the droppers and end up lagging my phone because of many golden swords there are

late by 2 weeks but i just wanna let you know that you basically wasted your time making four large portals. the spawnrate for one large portal is divided into four, it didn't increase your spawnrate by 4x.

@@xpiredzition4323 yes, the distance between the spot your standing and the portals is much shorter. Otherwise they just disapear half way the drop. Atleast that fixed it for me

Yes as long as you leave a like 2 block space in front and back of the edge portals (leaving space for them to spawn)
Also to be sure I'd put some torches or slabs down in the roof

you can make it with the trident killer and hold out a looting 3 sword but you need to make two trident killers because the farm cannot keep up with the amount of zombie piglins and the trident will break

Yeah there's gold farms that spawn way more piglins than this that uses a trident killer. Just use 3 tridents with impaling 5
@@PookyBucket Impaling only works when you're in water, or it's raining, otherwise it does the same damage as a trident with no enchantments. A trident killer would have to be waterlogged for impaling to work.
@@herreracarlos7851 If you hold a looting 3 sword, the effect transfers over to the trident killer. So while your trident killer is running, as long as you're holding a looting 3 sword, you'll get increased drops.

They all do still work. This new one is only designed to be easier to follow and to build as well as being cheaper. If you want a more efficient one, I got one upcoming in a few days.

best xp farm very cheap and easy be aware tho it spawns so much pigmen it could crash your game if you afk and it drops a lottttt of gold

Just use chunk base to find the snow biome it’s free to use n easy just follow wut it tells you to do
