actually this new bridge is very steep and me and my uncle where just driving around because im from orangewalk so he was showing me around sanpedro but when we reached the bridge we where going fairly slow then we went up then i noticed we where not going up we where literally rolling down lol
My parents are going to Belize in 2 days. Mainly Belmopan but man am I jealous.

Would love to see a public beach.....that's a drawback
....like a one u can go to and not have to b by restaurants and u can bring a picnic. Like other islands
All beaches in belize are public access but I’d recommend going to the end of boca del rio by the bridge if you want something with that type of feel
@WillMitchellBelize yes I know that but to pull up in front of a hotel or house and put ur chair etc feels very odd but I will say alot u can just go eat or drink and use their pool and beach, that's pretty cool....but I never heard of the one you mentioned. So next visit.....we plan 3rd trip this winter.....we have land there....and love belize....
@lisasummers191 you can do it, but if its a hotel or restaurant, maybe buy a drink every once in awhile to support the business and the public access

He’s a solid guy with a solid plan!
Great work but need a little balance. Just bought a beautiful canal property that is now being destroyed by a development in San Pablo. All the residents and landowners are asking for answers and the only answer they got is there is no plans right now. Meanwhile trucks are working through the night carrying fill and destroying mangroves and closing off 2 canals for access...the island is being destroyed in areas to benefit specific groups and people. Such a shame.
Traffic and crime in San Pedro must be top priority.
Planning to retire there and I see huge growth will happen.
Traffic is already a problem. Also no-see-ums are not nice. I wld be interested to know about electricity and water. Having said that, it is an amazing place.
I know it is a priority and I think there are some great solutions coming.
@@WillMitchellBelize wow i remember when it was just the guy riding the bike patrolling the south side of the city. i thought he was going to get mad at me for driving the golf cart off road and drinking tons of belekin but he just asked me about how the US was. Belieze is AWESOME

Wally a little off target here but your local Olles are killing the reef. They’re poaching all the grouper and snapper on the inside of the reef when the diving goes away so does San Pedro you might want to do something about it.

@@WillMitchellBelize I see a lot of Lions Club signs for "No littering" etc, I am wondering how the trash issue/ recycling issue can be solved. I think this is an absolutely beautiful country that is covered in garbage and its truly heart breaking to see the way trash has over come all these areas. Has there been any progress towards change in this matter that you're aware of?
Let's talk about the erosion the Mayor mentioned. How much of a threat is climate change? Are beach fronts at risk of falling into the ocean in 20 years?

First time I came to Belize was about 27 years ago and I've been here fill time for over a decade

I find this very interesting but also confusing. With all the improvements needed on the island's infrastructure, how can one expect the growth the expat residential and tourism community ? And with all the events in international affairs I find it very problematic that Belize wants to maintain its relationship with Taiwan. It really doesn't make sense....

Its very safe just depends which area you're in and if you're looking to get into trouble. If you go looking for it you can find it anywhere.
