The fact that the original designer and builder of this one of a kind engine specifically reached out to Rob for this speaks volumes about how far he has come. There are so many rotary shops around the world who would kill to get their hands on this thing yet he chose the one and only Dahm.
Tyson is one those guys who does not ask ''why?'', but instead asks ''why not?, when prompted with a challenge. There are so many unique one-off solutions in this engine that may seem obvious when looking at it here, yet no one else have done it. And the fact that he proudly shows off all his work instead of keeping it a secret to himself, like a lot of rotary shops like to do, is so incredibly cool.
I can't wait to see what it is capable with all the modern tech hooked up to it.

Im sure thats why he went to Rob. He has totally designed his own modern injection and timing map for a 4 rotor turbocharged engine. To get the ignition timing and fuel injection to work together is something Rob has learned to do from the ground up.

As a CNC machinist I can appreciate that this man constructed this "near flawless" masterpiece first time round! That level of precision, efficient design and highest grade materials along with innovations that improve every aspect and vulnerability that the rotary engine previously had; it makes this true masterpiece of engineering!
Right down to the balance cancellations through counter-rotating the assembly, the increased torque via dual lobe firing is like an epic level of engineering 👌
Lastly I'm going to state that I saw the video clip of this engine running with a glass of water sitting on the intake......in the video he revs the engine and it doesn't even make a ripple in the water in the glass! The balance is by far the best I've seen of any combustion engine yet?

Gasoline engines alone have many orders of magnitude left in their potential. It's critical to know, what the public has been using, is only a fraction of what is possible. Have you noticed that garage builders never try to innovate the fundamental design of an engine? Never. You need to find a way to invent a new combustion technology. That's where the future is. Lean burn engines are VERY POSSIBLE. The 1973 Shell Oil sponsored race, a 1959 Opel got 376 miles per gallon.
