I'm graduating this summer too! Would love to see transition videos! I've been using my bullet journal for the past 3 years and don't want to neglect it when I have less to write in it like assignments, would love to see a video on that!
Caitlin's Corner you too! Definitely feel like I've been on a journey with you over the last couple of years, as I've been in uni for 4 years too! I look forward to your transition videos :) will be good to have some support finding my feet in the big wide world, what an end of an era!
Caitlin, one thing I'd really suggest to you is investing in a travel mug! It can save money and it's much better for the environment, and I find that ever since I got my travel mugs (yes I have 3 because my mug addiction knows no bounds), it makes my takeout coffee feel that much more special too!
Caitlin's Corner If you’re looking for a good one that keeps drinks hot for a long time and is completely spill proof have a look for contigo mugs! In Canada they usually have them in Costco for super cheap! Or on Amazon!
I totally understand your full circle moment. It happened to me on my summer internship last year. All those feelings you had on your first day vs. your last day and how much you've grown in that time. Such a surreal moment.
In my final week of spring semester but two more years for my MBA since I'm doing it part time while working full time. I can't wait to see what you do going with youtube full time. I love your videos!! Good luck on finals.
I have a friend that is becoming an independent creator with twitch (I don't know the exact term they use), but she is going through a similar thing in transitioning from a classroom setting to working independently. It's been hard but she's been making some progress. I think the biggest thing that has helped her stay sane in this process is leaving her apartment and working elsewhere. Not only does it get her out of the house, but it opens the door to more social opportunities because she's able to see what's going on around her.
Bruh I have an exam tmrw and I go to UofT too and I was thinking how I couldn’t stay here anymore. But then this was in my recommended! Thank you for showing me tht I can fricken do it!!!
14:05 GIRLLLL your hair is beautiful! Mine looks like third-year Hermione, or Hagrid if it's summer. Curly/wavy hair is a constant struggle 😂 Btw congrats on getting through 4 years of uni!!!!!
Caitlin! I've been watching your videos for so long, that I'm feeling the nostalgia too! I'm so proud of you and what you've accomplished in just four years 😍 you're amazing, love! You'll accomplish great things in the future, trust me! 💜😘
This comment just made my night....honoured I've been worthy of your time over the years ❤ I can't begin to express how thankful I am for your support! Thank-you :)
I can totally relate to the nostalgia feeling of finishing your undergrad. I'm a non-traditional student and I graduated last year with my BA and even though I knew I was going to start grad school a few months later, it was so strange to think that I was done with something that was such a large part of my life for three years. It's a peculiar feeling but also one of accomplishment, at least it was for me. Quick question, what is the gold floral compact thing being held starting at 12:38?
Yes, that's exactly how i'd describe it- peculiar! I'm ready but also nostalgic...so many conflicting emotions haha! It's a tarte blush/highlighter palette that was out last year for a limited time :)
Oh my god. I’m reminiscing. I had the same power outage (it was the same day - I was at the building next door of Robarts Sid Smith) of my last class of undergraduate degree at UofT!
In order to relate to the majority of the population I think it'll be good if you apply to companies and see what it's like waiting to get an interview or to get rejected. A lot of post grad feelings are associated with the uncertainty of not having a job
Going through the same thing right now since I graduate in 2 weeks. Keep your head up! I would also like to see videos on how to use journal outside of school since I won't have assignments anymore
This September 2019 will be my final year at York! I’m already feeling what you’ve been talking about at the start of the video... basically where the hell did these past few years go and how my life will be after I graduate! I’m very anxious but excited to soon be done! Anyways love your videos as always!!!!!
I’m just finishing first year at UofT (still have 2 exams left) and I just started my channel. It’s cool to see that it’s possible to do both UA-cam and school at UofT and have a camera out on campus and not get judged
I was in Con Hall during that power outage and everyone freaked out for a moment then the class brought out their flashlights on their phone like it was a concert 😂
❤❤❤ Thanks! It's a winter coat by Calvin Klein that I purchased from Hudson's Bay a few years ago....one of my favourite winter coats that I've ever gotten :)
Since you are going to be living on your own soon, do you have plans to change up how you have the appartment set up? Like changing rooms or making the other room for UA-cam/Office area?
Hi Caitlin!! Might be a weird video or instagram story suggestion -- but it would be really awesome if you could give some advice about things to do when you're alone, maybe specific to Toronto or even more broadly. I'm relating to having to adapt to a new social life as I'll be in Toronto for most of the summer, alone, while most of my friends are either home or have lengthy travel plans!
Juuuuuust so you know you could get a dog if you wanted. Because of certain tenant laws in Toronto your landlord can't legally kick you out if you have a dog. They can get pissy and cranky, but they can't punish you!
Ahh I'm so emotional. Next week is my last week of classes in college ever. I'm starting a graduate program in September but it's so crazy that I won't have classes in these buildings ever again, I will never live in this neighborhood again, never eat in these dining halls. Four years goes by too quickly.
Hey could u do a video on general tips for transitioning from high school to university? I’m graduating this year and starting uni in the fall so any advice would be helpful :)
I'm really bad at math but I want a job in business somehow. Which business major do you think I should get? One with a solid, secured job that I could prolly get after graduation. My writing skills are great, I'm an overachiever in school.
I got those nostalgic and home sickness vibes when you were showing your last day at class and the bench near robarts library 😖😖❤️✌🏻 btw All the best for your finalsss❤️✌🏻
I LOVE UR VLOG! And luckily, I got in to Rotman Commerce this year! I am also thinking to study Management in the future! Sooo excited!😀May I ask u about ur experiences in Rotman Commerce as a management student? How do u think about RC?✨
Oh yay, congrats! The first two years were academically tough (do-able though)...the last two years have been a lot less intense and I’ve met great people throughout the four years🙌 ☺️
Hey, i'm in the same program as you but in first year, and I was wondering if you could make videos about how to effectively study? Or like tips for university overall, first year hit me like a truck
A lot of people around me are in this boat....I think my biggest piece of advice is not to panic-you've got time! Keep trying and eventually you'll get your foot in the door somewhere (even if it means starting in a not-so-ideal position). Sending lots of good luck vibes to anyone out there job hunting ❤
Watching this video is making me think about how by this time next year I will be in the exact same situation. Just thinking about this happening is making me tear up a bit.
To be honest, my plans otherwise would have been to head into marketing-which I feel like aligns with what I do on UA-cam, so the degree is being put to use in a different way :)
I took a mythology class in college last year. Every myth was really bizarre. There's a really great channel called Overly Sarcastic Productions and they too these really amazing animated and funny videos on mythology, classics, and history. I highly recommend if you want to laugh at the strangeness of myths while also learning a bit.
Even if I wasn’t doing UA-cam, I don’t think a masters would have been my first choice...probably would have gone straight to the workforce 😅 Thanks for your support, Jennifer ❤️
I'm graduating this summer too! Would love to see transition videos! I've been using my bullet journal for the past 3 years and don't want to neglect it when I have less to write in it like assignments, would love to see a video on that!
Oh yay! Congrats on almost being done-absolutely planning on doing a transition video...good idea for a bullet journal one too !
Caitlin's Corner you too! Definitely feel like I've been on a journey with you over the last couple of years, as I've been in uni for 4 years too! I look forward to your transition videos :) will be good to have some support finding my feet in the big wide world, what an end of an era!
Aww that’s so amazing to hear ❤️☺️ It’s nice to know others are going through the same changes ✨

I totally understand your full circle moment. It happened to me on my summer internship last year. All those feelings you had on your first day vs. your last day and how much you've grown in that time. Such a surreal moment.

Why do you want to do UA-cam full time after graduating? Don’t you feel like your degree is being wasted by not transitioning into a “real” job?
Not at all-my degree is in business so this actually feels super appropriate to be working on my own business ☺️
Caitlin's Corner no offence but it sounds like a big waste
@@oliviaharlow3866 the degree doesnt expire, youtube fame does
U struggled with first year rotman math? That's literally great 11 functions
MAT133 in Rotman is very doable, it is quite similar to Grade 12 calculus actually.

Much less studying haha
