You dont practice for Thursday night game so you dont have a lot of time to game plan a lot of new things. This normally helps QBs who improvise a lot by them self like a Josh Allen who extend plays. On Monday you have more time to prepare which gives a defense a better chance to have a real game play against a mobile QB like Josh Allen.
One correction McGovern was the Bills left guard last season. Edwards is the new left guard last season he played the role Anderson is doing as an extra TE.
