Couples therapists aren’t just for “fixing the relationship” , they can also help facilitate healthy breakups! This can be particularly important when co-parenting is involved.
Growing up in a Hispanic household we also made homemade tortillas as a utensil for eggs and potatoes, beans and rice, sopa de fideos (noodle soup) etc… 😅 No one has ever commented on it at all… op pisses me off. 😅😬
The ew-tortilla guy, would be surprised if he ever traveled to Latin America or outside his country. Also when he learns that Mexico isn’t the only country that eats tortillas. Tortillas aren’t just Mexican, it’s more of a regional food. I’m Guatemalan and our tortillas have the same purpose but are made differently than Mexican tortillas. The same with tacos.
Fun fact: NASA actually sends a ton of tortillas for people to eat in the ISS. It basically is used in any circumstance that bread would be used, but bread produces way more crumbs than tortillas do, and crumbs can be really dangerous for all the mechanical stuff up there.
"She said i didn't really "know" her... that's ridiculous! I know everything about her! Favorite color, movie, song, food. I can read her body language extremely well!" Knowing someones favorite color & food IS extremely surface level. And knowing her "body language" isn't knowing her, that's observing her over the years in different situations. "I think it's gross to see someone grabbing at food with their bare hands" Nobody bring this guy to a Moroccan or Ethiopian restaurant!!
Tortilla guy: Toddlers are hard. Freaking hard. They take up all your mental and physical space. Multiplying this by 2 is a hellscape. It probably took her a year to find the mental space to start to work through what he had done, taking her parenting to the kangaroo-court that is Reddit. In this case, Reddit was on her side, but the fact remains, he held her up to public scrutiny. She needed time, space, and clarity to work through this, and I'm totally on her side.
@ajnabee01 it's meant to be ironic like if that tortilla thing upsets him, eating pizza burger and fries with your bare hands must be horrifying manners
There’s an undertone of prejudice/racism in that tortilla story. Sounds like OP expected his Hispanic wife to fully assimilate into his own life and abandon her culture and language, things that make her who she is. It feels like he only liked her for how she looked and because they got along alright but he never tried to get to know her on a deeper level because what he knew was good enough for him…and he expected to learn more by the default of time rather than by putting in effort to get to know her. He’s closed off to a harmonious blend of their families and upbringings/backgrounds and thinks his is superior. So many cultures eat certain foods with their hands. He must look down on them for it. And him getting annoyed with her speaking Spanish when after 7 years he should get the gist of what she’s saying from making effort to learn and from indirectly listening in on her helping give her kids the gift of being bilingual shows resistance to those he thinks are “less than”
Today, I am full-on depressed because I had a bad arthritis flare in my shoulder and wrist and couldn't go to my usual crochet club meet-up. So, I binged UA-cam. You guys suddenly appeared on my dashboard, so I clicked "play". Honestly, I came for the dramaaaaahmaaaaah, but stayed for the crocheted pieces behind you. I'm now six vids in, and I want to make all the pieces that I see. Also, my husband and I have dissected all the ways in which this "prank" could have been made funny, and none of the scenarios featured the words "underwear" and "straddling".
I think she did the prank because she wanted to push his boundaries and see how much she could get away with. They’re clearly very different in levels of maturity. This prank was purely sadistic, not funny. Also, you don’t respect your partner if this sounds fun to you. Sorry but no, she’s absolutely wanting to cheat but wanting to do so without it a guilty conscience so she’s pushing his boundaries to get him to be spineless and after he forgives her for this her behavior will get worse, to actual cheating.
I will never understand the "cheating" pranks. Why would someone think that it would ever be funny to cheat on their partner or tell them that they were being cheated on? It's not a prank and whoever does this should fully prepare themselves to be broken up with on the spot.
S2: i remember this dude’s first story, it’s so confusing to me how some people get with ethnic people and still can’t help being racist or prejudice at the culture of the person they claim they love. glad she’s kicking him to the curb after all that.
this girl is tweaking. if that happened i don’t give af it’s cheating the second she was asking him to take his shirt and she took her clothes off as well🤷🏻♀️ there’s so many wrongs but her not getting it means she has no regard for his feelings and that’s as bad a crime as the prank
Exactly! She keeps going on and on and on that it was just a prank. Like GIRL! It's not about the prank at all!!! She trampled all over his boundaries and showed him she's capable of untrustworthy behaviour. He's so better off without them. It really sounds like he's grown up into a full adult mentality and the ex gf and friends are all still stuck in high school.
Kind of funny Sophia was like you held on to it for a year until she found out it was the woman and then all the sudden he just doesn't get it😂 The second one there's definitely somebody else
Me and my mom pulled a prank on my brother one time. We got under the covers in strapless shirts with one of my brothers friends in the middle his arms around both of us to make us look nakey. They always would make banging your mom or sister jokes so we played into it. Fully clothed and took a picture. That got a reaction out of my brother lol and there was nothing inappropriate other than the guy having his shirt off. We thought it was funny and harmless, this prank here however was not funny and harmless
See, there's the difference! There's a cause and effect with that prank that makes sense!!! Like you said his friends would always make those kinds of jokes so y'all played into it. Absolutely nothing like that happened with this prank. There was no reason to prank OP, and no real meaning behind it, just to get a reaction and to make him feel hurt. That's not a prank, that's just mean
Me too!! Some guys are just my homies and that's it. We have things in common and we connect over it, like to have fun and hang out. People say all the time, "you shouldn't be friends with the opposite gender bc things might happen" and I'm like ok??? I'm bisexual??? Should I just not have any friends at all 😂
I'm guessing they got the idea from UA-cam but like most of those "cheating pranks" are staged. the partner getting "cheated on" knows there's a prank.
The last story 🤦🏻♀️ the tortillas are literally to use as the children were using it. Not just to make tacos. You break a piece and grab the food with it. The poor man made himself a fool.
It's funny how you are talking about his micro aggressions, then doing the same in story two. Those kids aren't genetically mutated. They can't handle spicy food better then OP can. He just didn't listen to his partner when she told him that she didn't put spicy peppers into the stew. Because she is actually responsible and knows that spicy food isn't for infants. Being able to tolerate, or even like, spicy food is a skill that you train. It's culture, not some genetic disorder/skill. There are some people that aren't susceptible to the sensation of pain created by spicy food. This actually is a generic disorder, and just as prevalent in OPs race then in any other race. It's actually pretty rare. The problem isn't that OP was ignorant. The problem was that he was too dense to understand on his own that not changing this, while being in a relationship with his partner, hurt her in the long run and made her resent him. He is the a*hole for not checking his privileges and being a victim of his own defaultism. And he clearly didn't show any interests in the wants and needs of his future wife. Which is why he lost her ... This isn't racism. This is OP being too self-absorbed to be a good partner to anyone. That's what he needs to work on.
OP is racist with ADHD. Hopefully he gets the therapy he needs to be a better partner in his next relationship. Now with all this talk of Mexican food, I'm crazy hungry. Filiberto's anyone? 😋
The prank thing, my husband hates touching butter. One day while we were out he went into a store, while he was in, I coated the back of the steering wheel with butter 🤭🤭
What that commenter said is true you might friendzone them and they accept it but it started with intentions and they definitely were not innocent there's a reason why men have a bro code
Being cheated on by a partner let alone catching them is horrific and extremely damaging so why pretend for a prank!!? Not one bit funny and I would have been done too. No discussion needed!
In the second story yeah he was definitely wrong but it was a culture clash from the two of them that's what table manners are and really the only reason he's wrong is because he wasn't the one teaching them I call BS the baby mama was stewing on this for a year she's interested in somebody else😂
55:23 The daughter's name is pronouned "ellen - uh" but the family was saying "uh lay nuh"." &that dude is a moron to have been obsessively correcting people for pronouncing her name with an accent >.
I’d say its more of a “e-leh-nah” but English speakers usually say “uh lay nuh” lowkey drives me nuts HAHAHAHA but oh well I don’t even correct anyone anymore
Second story: Ok, you feel like your partner doesn’t really know you so you took a year of basically contemplating a breakup and going somewhere negatively mentally towards a breakup? He’s an idiot, he doesn’t get it, but she didn’t even try to talk to him???
So, now that they are breaking up he's finally doing things to learn about her culture? Like ya it's for the kids but the first post happened a year before and he hadn't made an effort since??
S1 I've heard about prank channels doing this kinda sh. But that's sich has acting it's obvious that everyone involved knows what's going on. Why do idiots think it's fun to copy that?
You seem like a troll account. If you don't like it, don't watch it. But you don't have to be in their comment section posting shit constantly (yes, I can see your comment history). Call them immature, but what you're doing is really immature. Don't be a hypocrite
Really? Eat fries with your hand but how dare you eat Mexico food with tacos? Complains she didn't tell him what's bothering her but zones out when she tells him?
Couples therapists aren’t just for “fixing the relationship” , they can also help facilitate healthy breakups! This can be particularly important when co-parenting is involved.
So glad OP #2 linked his original story because I remember when he made that first post and suspected this was the same guy. Stinky man!
Growing up in a Hispanic household we also made homemade tortillas as a utensil for eggs and potatoes, beans and rice, sopa de fideos (noodle soup) etc… 😅
No one has ever commented on it at all… op pisses me off. 😅😬
I bet op doesn't mind if they eat burgers and fries with their hands
The ew-tortilla guy, would be surprised if he ever traveled to Latin America or outside his country. Also when he learns that Mexico isn’t the only country that eats tortillas. Tortillas aren’t just Mexican, it’s more of a regional food. I’m Guatemalan and our tortillas have the same purpose but are made differently than Mexican tortillas. The same with tacos.
And roti/chapati. There's loads of places he can't visit 😂😂
Right! He was acting like she was uncultured and lacking manners but the ignorant one was him. 🤦🏻♀️
@@JustMyOpinion40 I bet he doesn’t even have a passport 😬
@@olgafernandez8813 Exactly! 🤦🏽♀️ Hopefully, follows through with his promises to educate himself!

Oh my God I didn't mean to dislike your video. I took that dislike away and gave you a 👍
A prank is funny not mean and hurting someone. She has no right to be with anyone if she thinks that's funny.

Omg scooping up the food with tortilla. What's next? Eating fries pizza and burgers with their bare hands 😂
So what?
@ajnabee01 it's meant to be ironic like if that tortilla thing upsets him, eating pizza burger and fries with your bare hands must be horrifying manners
I think they were checking the temperature to know how intimate they can be in front of him
21:04 this is "I'll show u mine, if u show me urs"
Rome wasn't built in a day but it didn't take long to go up in flames... There you go Sophia. LOL

That was my exact thought

the OP#2 probably took 1 year to understand and accept she should have left long ago.
33:06 he was a mutual friend. For a year. He wasn't her old childhood mate. And certainly not like bro and sis
this girl is tweaking. if that happened i don’t give af it’s cheating the second she was asking him to take his shirt and she took her clothes off as well🤷🏻♀️ there’s so many wrongs but her not getting it means she has no regard for his feelings and that’s as bad a crime as the prank

Me making tortilla rn lol I forgot some people would think like this 🇧🇿
1st story, you nailed it bro, terrible "prank" get all new friends these people suck
Riley, grey rocking is NOT stonewalling.
Grey rocking is to give a minimal response only when you have to. In other words, it is LOW contact.
Noted, I know what to do with my uncle at holidays now

I have many male friends with zero (!) intentions. Lol.
Having friends with the opposite sex is important!
Me too!! Some guys are just my homies and that's it. We have things in common and we connect over it, like to have fun and hang out.

what happened after?
I’m autistic and my skin fucking crawled reading that
You witch
What that commenter said is true you might friendzone them and they accept it but it started with intentions and they definitely were not innocent there's a reason why men have a bro code
Yeah this isn’t a prank at all. It astounds me every day how dumb people can be.
Being cheated on by a partner let alone catching them is horrific and extremely damaging so why pretend for a prank!!? Not one bit funny and I would have been done too. No discussion needed!
Op#2 isn't racist just ignorant partly her fault for getting knocked up by someone she obviously wasn't compatible with
I would say that they really are cheating and to make op think it was a pranks. Because op knew that were "together"
I just want to leave a comment :D
Hi!
In the second story yeah he was definitely wrong but it was a culture clash from the two of them that's what table manners are and really the only reason he's wrong is because he wasn't the one teaching them I call BS the baby mama was stewing on this for a year she's interested in somebody else😂
These comments are insane you can literally watch pranks of cheating on UA-cam so why is it so shocking that she would post it

He’s an idiot, he doesn’t get it, but she didn’t even try to talk to him???
No, it explains in the post how she talked to him during each racist action. Also she explains that she didn't want to break up, until she did want to
@ yea I commented before the update, i usually comment the time stamp I’m at, but I thought it was done right there.
So, now that they are breaking up he's finally doing things to learn about her culture? Like ya it's for the kids but the first post happened a year before and he hadn't made an effort since??

How about they were going at it and we're recording when he caught them they said it was just a prank
19 s after posting!🎉
They said there gonna post it on UA-cam. i don't think UA-cam allows you in your underwear
You all seem really immature many times seriously. Just pure lack of experience. You takes on many stories are really immature.
You seem like a troll account. If you don't like it, don't watch it. But you don't have to be in their comment section posting shit constantly (yes, I can see your comment history). Call them immature, but what you're doing is really immature. Don't be a hypocrite
Here in 6 mins!
Second story has serious "I'm not racist, I have black friends" vibes.
Sorry but I completely disagree for the last story I feel bad for OP
Really? Eat fries with your hand but how dare you eat Mexico food with tacos? Complains she didn't tell him what's bothering her but zones out when she tells him?
That's one way to tell us you're racist...
