We have used the case eagle claw hitch on a 430 case with a NH 451 on it by shortening the pto shaft a bushhog and most all cat 1 3 point emplments with it useing the original case toplink
On my 1950 case dc with a homemade 3pt has the top link extra high. My seat hits it from time to time. My biggest problem is the pto is so high the angle on the drive shaft is extreme. I usually use pull type bush hog (single point) with a long driveshaft for field mowing.
I agree about the PTO also. Strange design overall. I'd love to find some Eagle hitch implements but until then we'll have to live with the modified 3 point stuff.
The problem you have is that you don't have the correct top link for this tractor We ran DC's with all the right parts and the eagle hitch works great does not have the side to side movement as other hitches do The length of the lower lift arms are different on all tractors Depends on the attachment points
I have never seen such short ears, as you have on the blade. Eagle hitch should have more room. I have used an 3pt 5' blade on my VAC ( believe it is 27hp) since 1972 for driveway stone, crush/run. ditching . terracing, landscaping, etc, with excellent results. Can not imagine why you need more hp. unless you want to pull in road gear . ????
If the road mix on our driveway is too wet or thick, it will slow my 2N down. Otherwise it does fine. With the DC I get a much heavier tractor with more horsepower and I can grade the driveway no matter how wet or heavy the road mix becomes. It doesn’t slow down the tractor at all.

Wow that blade goes up high on that 2n

Factory eagle hitches are different. The one in this video is an add on. I was raised on case you aren't being far
Tractor envy.
Purrs like a kitten, says your Mom.
I didnt realize there was such a difference in lengths. 6" is a lot and it woukd throw the blade angle off. Looks like once yiu got it set it did fine
The top link on the Case Eagle Hitch is much shorter.

Use your new lathe to make a new custom top link.
I haven't learned how to cut threads on the lathe yet. Another project for the future ....
