The BEST Mario Kart Wii Hide & Seek Tracks! In this video, we continue our quest to play Hide & Seek on every Mario Kart Wii track! We tackle the whole Star and Leaf cups, home to some of the most open tracks in the whole game! Make sure you stick around to the end as we come up with some amazing hiding spots!
Another neat change in this mod is that the rocks no longer fall in Grumble Volcano. This REALLY opens up the track and I'm looking forward to having more matches there in the future!

Update: After watching her ditch the perfect hiding spot only to watch her fail faster than a speeding bullet while yelling JUST STAY, I now see what you mean. The suspense comes from "will Mayro do something reckless?"

It's fun to see you go for all the risky plays and juking out the seeker, but it'd also be cool to see how effective some of the camping strategies really are. I feel like the risky stuff adds more entertainment value, so i can understand why these moments end up in the vid tho, still great to watch!
A quick summary of this video: Mayro finds an amazing hiding spot and stays there for approximately 30 seconds before getting bored and leaving to immediately die while trying to do an impossible trick.
Somebody really needs to make a horror-themed mod of this mode lol

There is a spot on Wario's Gold Mine. It's gonna take some practice, but it's worth it. Hop on the sneakster for its decent speed and hitbox. The location is shortly after the first drop. Behind the railing, there is a spot that you can just BARELY reach. The outer section of the wall doesn't have hit detection, so you can go right through if anyone is sussing you. Do a stand still mini turbo and hop to the small stop. This is shroomless. Note: You have to turn around, and it's just before the orange ramp things. Warning: The dark part off the wood has no hit detection, so you fall right through.
What about a mode where "drive anywhere" tracks are used, but after the first 30 seconds the maximum speed of the hiders is reduced to around 10 kmh? That way there are more good hiding spots available so hiders won't be found as quickly, but if a hider actually does get found they're much more likely to get caught by the seeker. I like the emphasis being more on hiding than running.
We're actually working on a new drive anywhere mod specifically for hide and seek. Being able to drive up the walls is kinda busted but the chase sequences are part of the fun tbh.

It doesn't matter what the game mode is, Maple Treeway is always fun.
the risky strats are fun to watch, and so is the commentary of the rest of the match if you end up getting hit haha
I played with you on Maple Treeway and Grumble Volcano. This was a lot of fun but I got to improve on this cuz I had done so bad xD

Those 3 people on the wall at DS Desert Hills are actually our 3 favorite Mario Kart characters. My favorite is Rosalina, and my twin brothers' favorites are Toadette and Baby Mario.
My own 3 are Yoshi, Koopa Troopa and Dry Bones

You need an SD card and a PC that can read SD cards. From there, you install this mod called Riivolution on the SD card, which should put, among other things, a folder called "My Stuff" in the SD card. If you put the hide and seek mod into the folder, you should be able to play it through Riivolution, on your Wii. There are tutorials to install riivolution on UA-cam.
