Jeff Young, Thank you Jeff for taking the time to watch my toolbox inventory. Thank you for your very kind comment. There are some really nice toolbox inventories here on UA-cam so I feel very honored that you put me in that category too. Made my 1st Snap-on tool purchase in 1984. LOL Some of my tools are almost 35 yes old. Again thanks for watching my video. Gregg (Critter) Muse
Lexus LFA, Thanks for viewing my toolbox inventory & thank you for your very nice comments. I enjoy hearing good or bad what other people think about my video. Gregg (Critter) Muse
WAYNE D I'm glad that you took my constructive criticism the right way. Some people would be offered. Thanks for watching my toolbox inventory and for the very nice comments! I made that video on the spur of the moment. I was slow that day @ about 4pm so I just decided to make it. I forgot a few things & made a few mistakes but all in all I'm happy with it. I'm getting old now & eyes aren't so good any more so I have to have everything in it's place or I can't find it. Sucks getting old! LOL Gregg (Critter) Muse
Wow!!!....i have watched tool box views after tool box views!!!!.... By far. A working class hero!!!.... it seems like you almost got every job tool, and showed me you use them every day and you don't have O.C.D. and clean and design your own hand tools.
Hello Suezan Arms, Let me start off by saying thank you very much for watching my toolbox inventory. That represents about 35yrs worth of buying tools. Yes I do use my tools every day. I do try to keep them organized & clean with maybe a little bit of OCD. LOL I really love tools & hate being asked to do a job & not having the right or proper tools to do the job. Again thank you for watching my inventory & for your very kind comments. Gregg (Critter) Muse
Michael Matthews Thank you Michael, I appreciate your comments on my toolbox and my tool collection. It has taken me about 30yr to get to this point. For all the tools that I have there are still so many tools that I want & need. LOL Gregg (Critter) Muse
Wow awesome collection of tools! I have more than most (72” master series), but you have my collection totally smoked. Can never have enough tools, anything that gets the job done properly, easily and faster is welcomed in my world...
Hello Dansyoung, Let me start by saying, thank you for watching my toolbox inventory & for your very kind comments. Your 72" Snap-on Master series is a very nice box too! Snap-on tools are very nice but any tool that gets the job done is a tool worth having. Gregg (Critter) Muse
Sirius Jones Sorry it has taken me so long to respond to your msg. Thank you for your very nice comments. I enjoy my toolbox & tools bout 10hrs almost daily. Gregg (Critter)Muse
HotRodEric, Thank you very much for your very kind words. I have been collecting a very long time. Over 30 yrs ago I bought my 1st Snap-on tool. Gregg (Critter) Muse
Hello HotRodEric, Sorry, don't know what happened to the rest of my msg. I bought my 1st Snap-on tool almost 35yrs ago & still spend between $5-10K a year on new tool. You know what they say? "The only difference between men & boys, is the size & price of there toys". LOL Thank you for sharing your toolbox inventory with us. Gregg (Critter) Muse
Jason N, Thank you for taking the time I'm to watch my toolbox inventory. Also thank you for the very nice comments on my toolbox! I really appreciate them! I do work pretty hard to keep my toolbox looking nice & also to keep it organized. Thank you again for watching & your comments! Gregg (Critter) Muse
Very nice! Always interesting to see how other mechanics set up / organize their stuff. You have that box so nicely dressed up I think the drawer guards are the only thing missing.
Not done watching but I have to comment about the led lights under the edge of the stainless steel top and RGB under the box! Going to look into that myself! Haha thanks for showing it off!
Awesome box critter! I’m gonna have to get me some of those edge protectors for my side cabinet drawers. I finally stepped up into an Epiq and I’m pretty excited so far.
Hello MMIP Mobile Welding, Thank you for watching my toolbox inventory. As I said in my video, I got the door edge guard in 18' roll. It can be purchased @ Wal-Mart, O'REILLY'S, ect... Thanks for watching my video. Gregg (Critter) Muse
Eric Lohmeyer, Hello Eric. Thank you for viewing my toolbox inventory and for your very nice comments! It is by far not the biggest or the nicest but thank you anyway! Gregg (Critter) Muse
Thank you very much John Gibson & yes I've been doing this for about 25yrs now. The power prob 4 is very sweet. No i haven't seen the new Milwaukee ratchet. Thanks again John.
ltstarbuck10 Thanks for the nice comments! Sorry it has taken me so long to respond to your msg. Yes the pw banks are really nice & very handy! Gregg(Critter)Muse
Shade Tree Master Thank you for viewing my toolbox inventory & thank you for your very nice comments. If you know who Justin the Snap-On Junkie is here on UA-cam then you know that he got a new 84" Epiq about 1yr ago & in his inventory he was bragging on how many wrenches (165) that he had with his drawer fomed out & challenged ANYBODY to have more wrenches in there drawer with those " fucking little plastic wrench racks. That got under my skin sense I have 236 wrenches. I have sent him a msg but he hasn't replied back to me yet. Thanks again! Gregg (Critter) Muse
Awesome setup dude! I love that color combo as I own a yellow master series myself. One of the best tours I've seen yet. The inventory is outstanding and extremely complete. Love the organization you got going and for the record, 1/4" drive is the drive of choice in my shop and I've seen many comments questioning your impact but let's realize that all these cordless power tools were inspired by air tools and everyone owns a 1/4 impact of some sort today... now on to the big question, "what's in the fridge..." nice work 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
JerseyBoy 34, First let me say, thank you for viewing my toolbox inventory. Very special thanks for all your very kind comments. I know I have a tool addiction. There needs to be an AA type group for us. LOL Water, Coke, & beer. Thanks again. I'm going to check and see if you have a toolbox inventory. I normally do that before I send back a reply. Gregg (Critter) Muse
Gregg Critter Muse I took delivery of a brand new KRL 1011 side cabinet in yellow today matter of fact... I'm pretty excited. I'm thinking bout some carbon fiber wrap to lay across the drawer top since the box is got lots of use and the cabinet is obviously not. May have to break out the polish! Been thinking bout a hutch since I watched your video also! I don't really need it as my box is at my shop at home but the hutch really is a sweet feature. Too many ideas goin right now. First thing I gotta do is get that new cabinet home tomorrow. It got delivered to work.
JerseyBoy 34, That's cool. I'm pretty happy for you too. There's something magical bout a new box! Can't wait to see your toolbox & inventory. Now your going to have to make a toolbox video sense you got the new side cabinets. Yes hutches are really nice & they just look sexy as hell too! LOL To tell you the truth. Hutches are kind of a waist of money. Don't store enough tools inside the hutch to make it cost effective for me & most people. Did I mention how good hutch's look? LOL You would be money ahead to buy a second side cabinet instead of a hutch. Cost bout $500-$1000 more than hutches. Again I can't wait to see your toolbox. Gregg (Critter) Muse
Luigi Torchia Hello & a very belated thank you for the very nice comments on my toolbox & tools. Was reading back through the comments & came across your comments & I saw that I hadn't responded & thanked you. So here I am. I will try to do a better job from here on. Gregg (Critter) Muse
Gregg muse Thank you for the reply,, i really appreciate it. I think this is what I’m going to do when I get to work in the morning. Kind of funny you say 1985 because I started in 1986. It takes a long time to get a nice setup like that, and it seems like it never ends. Yours looks actually pretty similar to mine, maybe I’ll do a toolbox tour soon, anyway I could go on all night. Thanks for the great idea. That’s a box you can be proud of
jason T I know what u mean bout going on all night. LOL A lot of people complain bout there pliers drawer. About it not being deep enough to be able to use pliers racks. Move taller drawers up higher. That's what I did. I look forward to seeing your toolbox video too. Gregg(Critter)Muse
You should slide the two overheads over the lockers and add another overhead to the middle. Or replace the Classic series overheads with the Epic series overheads to match the rest. Great video, and great set up.
JRC54, Thanks for viewing my video. I really appreciate all feedback good or bad. As to the top overhead storage cabinet's that's a pretty great idea. I already had the 2 overheads & had them painted to match my new toolbox. When I buy an Epiq overhead cabinet the I will move the 2 master ser overhead cabinets out over the side cabinets. The problem is the side cabinets are 30" wide & the 2 overhead cabinets are 36" wide. My plan is to cut off 1 end & then remove 6" of cabinet body. Then we'll the ends back on & repainted. Again thank for viewing & for your comments. Gregg (Critter) Muse
Thank you DocRevco for your kind & knowledgeable words. And yes i have been debating on drawer gaurds (carbon fiber??). Also wall lockers need some task lighting. Thanks again! Critter
Awesome tour man, came across your comment under another video and I'm glad I clicked over to your channel. In your comment under Christopher Young's toolbox tour you said you moved overseas to work. May I ask for what reason? And how the work was? Never heard anybody comment on being an international mechanic
Hello Matthew Collins, Let me start off by saying thank you for watching my toolbox inventory. I'm glad that you chose to view my video after reading my comments on Mr. Young's video. I got a job as a contractor. I got hired by a company (Mantech) that contracted to the U.S. Army. I worked mostly on army HVAC Units & Generator. The company moved me & my family to Germany. I got to go to 17 different countries across Europe, Africa, & S.W. Asia in 2 1/2yrs. Probably the best job I've ever had in my life. Worked on very little automobile. A few military vehicles. I appreciate your comments. Thanks again for watching. Gregg (Critter) Muse
Well I got a job contracting for a company called ManTech. Who had government contracts. I worked on power generation & HVAC. I got to see 17 different countries in 2.5yrs. One of the best jobs I ever had!
Hello CARS LOVER, Thank you very much much for your very kind comments. Some people like the color scheme that I chose and some people don't. I love the yellow/ black trim. I chose to get the main part of the toolbox black/black trim because I'm in & out of it all day & black don't show up dirty finger prints as bad as what the yellow does. Gregg (Critter) Muse
Gregg muse I’ve gotta say you’re got a sweet setup. I’ve been a tech for 28 years and I also have an 84” epiq with 2 side lockers and I love it.. I’m thinking about getting the top lockers like yours. I have a question about the led strip you put under your stainless top. How did you run the wires? And where did you put the switch? I keep trying to find it but don’t see it. Thanks
jason T Thank you very much for the nice compliments on my box. I started buying Snap-on tools back in 1985. More busted knuckles then i'ld care to remember! The switch for the under counter LEDs is mounted just left of the power strip in the power cabinet. Unbolted the top of left cabinet from hutch, unbolted the stainless steel top to remove the plactic top cap of the vertical drawer deciders, cut small trench to run the wires between the 2 sections. In the top left corner below the stainless top I drilled a sm hole & installed a rubber grommet for the wires to pass through. It was tough figuring out how to keep the wires from getting all twisted up. Put a sm eyebolt (welded/bent 90°) in back wall, ran a heavy nylon string from pw cab through eyebolt, weighted on end. Ran wires from pw cab back wall & zip tied tightly to string n 2 places. Got 2 do some measuring, eyebolt high & zip tie placement so they don't hit eyebolt. The weighted string keeps wire from twisting up. To long. Hope that made sense. Critter
Nice tool box, lots of gear in it, your tools look well used and yet clean & organized shows you take pride in your job What do you work on must? If you don't mind me asking .. Cheers Niall
Niall Cosgrove Thank you for the nice comments. I pretty much work on everything. I dislike working on diesel & don't rebuild auto trans though. Gregg(Critter)Muse
Dude, smashing box setup. I have almost same setup and want to add the LEDs under the top. As I've gotten older it's hard to see in the damn drawers I'm exstreamly OCD and can't decide how to run wires for them. Can you maybe share how you ran wires and what leds u used
Well Ragen & Ron Egan. It wasn't easy to run the wires. I loosened the locker beside the power drawer, then removed the bolts holding the stainless steel top to the roll cab and lifted the front corner by the power drawer. I then removed the vertical drawer divider plastic top cap between the power drawer & center bank of drawers & cut a small V notch in the top of the plastic top cap. Then in the very top left corner of the roll cab just below the stainless steel top, I drilled a small hole the installed a small rubber grommet. Be careful when drilling the hole because the top of the roll cab is recessed down 3/8"-1/2". The top of my hole hit the underside of the rollcab recessed top panel. I got lucky. I got the power for my lady's from inside the power drawer. I bent an Eyebolt just below the eye in a 90°. Then drilled a hole in the back of the rollcab just below and left of the electrical plug and mounted the eyebolt in the hole with the eye inside the box and the eye bent towards the bottom of the toolbox.ran nylon framing string from the back edge of the power drawer passed through the eye with about 6oz weighton the end of the string.then zip-tied the power cord to the nylon string. Took me a couple of tries to get everything right. I hope that helped. Gregg Critter Muse PS the LEDs that I used I ordered from Snap-on out of there catalog. Bought 2 sets but I wouldn't recommend buying them though. There not really bright enough. I also took a black paint pen and blacked out the front side of the LEDs so that you couldn't see the lights themselves.
Thanks for watching my toolbox tour Rex8787. Critter does. That's who buys a 1/4" impact. I've had that 1/4" impact sense the mid 90's. It's very small & very strong. Have you ever used a 1/4" impact? Maybe you shouldn't criticize somebody about the tools they own if you haven't tried 1. Critter
amen. i use an electric bosch hex bit impact with a 1/4 adaptor and its so good for whizzing off bolts up to 12mm, so doing body panels or interior fixtures is sped up massively. mine hits 96nm at top whack so its not amazing but its very lightweight and compact
Have you used the power probe 4 feature for your injectors yet? Have u seen the new Milwaulkee ratchets they look sweet. I take it you been at this for a while.
jeff williams, Thank you Jeff for your nice comment! It looks like you have a very nice toolbox too! I'll be waiting for your toolbox inventory. Gregg (Critter) Muse
Gregg Critter Muse . I plan to do a video someday. I have watched a lot of these toolbox tours. Maybe I will start with my push cart. Like yours, my main box is to large to push around daily. I drew the line after 3/4” drive and wrench’s up to 2”. I have to store things like a tree climbers gas chainsaw. I use it for cutting timber and making cribbing for heavy equipment. These tool collections are built around specific needs and different industries. Automotive/ heavy equipment, aerospace ect.. It is fun to see the differences thru videos. Even better is reading thru all the hater commits. Yes, we have a shortage of good techs in this country and the void seems to be getting filled with a bunch of harbor freight mechanics that invested just as little in their education. We just hired one. This guy takes zero pride in his work. He wants the big paycheck but doesn’t have the skills. His crappy cheap tools are the lest of my worries. His welding talent/or lack off, is gonna get someone killed. HR can’t seem to find good mechanics. It’s only gonna get worse. Anyway, nice box. I almost did the same thing. Yellow side cabinets. Looks cool.
jeff williams I know just what you mean bout the lack of good, qualified technicians! Your are very right about it's only going to get worse. Most of the new technicians don't want to spend their hard earned money to buy good tools that will last them a lifetime of working on cars & trucks and yes they want all the money too! Gregg (Critter) Muse
Hey Greg love the comment “nice dig” about the amount of wrenches in the drawer to the snap- on junkie! I and so many other people in the tool world don’t have the time or patients to cut all the foam out to hold less wrenches In our drawers! You can see my tool box setups on Instagram @kenmikssr..... great video on your toolbox😀😀👍Ken miks
Thanks. Ken, I do take a lot of pride in my tools and toolbox. Just the Snap-on Junkie's condescending attitude about the plastic wrench racks got under my skin was all. Gregg Critter Muse
Sorry, I just read your message from 2yrs ago. I got the A/C taps off of the Mac truck. I worked at a GM Dealerships from 1993 till 2008. The accumulators would gauled onto the lines. There to straighten out the internal threads on the a/c hose nuts. I hope that made sense. Thanks for watching and your comments. Gregg Critter Muse
Sirius Jones, Thank you. The guy has evidently never tried 1 or at least never tried a good 1/4" Dr impact. I don't use it often but it's nice to have when you need 1. Gregg (Critter) Muse
I watch a lot of these toolbox tours and honestly I really like critters setup...probably my favorite on UA-cam.
Jeff Young,
Thank you Jeff for taking the time to watch my toolbox inventory. Thank you for your very kind comment. Thank you DocRevco for your kind & knowledgeable words. And yes i have been debating on drawer gaurds (carbon fiber??). Also wall lockers need some task lighting. Thanks again!
Critter
Thanks Oscar! I have been collecting tools for a very long time.

Awesome tour man, came across your comment under another video and I'm glad I clicked over to your channel. In your comment under Christopher Young's toolbox tour you said you moved overseas to work. May I ask for what reason? And how the work was? Never heard anybody comment on being an international mechanic
Hello Matthew Collins,
Let me start off by saying thank you for watching my toolbox inventory.

Well I got a job contracting for a company called ManTech. Who had government contracts. I worked on power generation & HVAC. I got to see 17 different countries in 2.5yrs. One of the best jobs I ever had!
I love you videos
Hello CARS LOVER,
Thank you very much much for your very kind comments. Some people like the color scheme that I chose and some people don't. I love the yellow/ black trim. I chose to get the main part of the toolbox black/black trim because I'm in & out of it all day & black don't show up dirty finger prints as bad as what the yellow does.

I’ve gotta say you’re got a sweet setup. Thanks
jason T
Thank you very much for the nice compliments on my box.

Nice tool box, lots of gear in it, your tools look well used and yet clean & organized shows you take pride in your job
What do you work on must? If you don't mind me asking ..
Cheers Niall

Thank you for the nice comments. I pretty much work on everything. I dislike working on diesel & don't rebuild auto trans though.

Thanks BassFishing 978. I like hearing from people that have viewed my toolbox.

PS the LEDs that I used I ordered from Snap-on out of there catalog. Bought 2 sets but I wouldn't recommend buying them though. There not really bright enough. I also took a black paint pen and blacked out the front side of the LEDs so that you couldn't see the lights themselves.
Hello Wayne Shanks,
Thank you for viewing my toolbox inventory & for your your nice comment.

Hello CARS LOVER,
Thanks for watching my toolbox inventory & for your very kind comment.
Gregg (Critter) Muse
Man love the way you are set up your tools and like the color of box with over head locker that is cool like it
Thanks for watching my toolbox tour Rex8787. Critter does. That's who buys a 1/4" impact. I've had that 1/4" impact sense the mid 90's. It's very small & very strong. Have you ever used a 1/4" impact? Maybe you shouldn't criticize somebody about the tools they own if you haven't tried 1.
Critter
amen. i use an electric bosch hex bit impact with a 1/4 adaptor and its so good for whizzing off bolts up to 12mm, so doing body panels or interior fixtures is sped up massively. mine hits 96nm at top whack so its not amazing but its very lightweight and compact
also, love your toolbox colour scheme, looks sick
Alex Mills
Thanks for the nice comments on my toolbox. Yes I like 1/4" power tools/ele tools very much.
Gregg(Critter)Muse
Have you used the power probe 4 feature for your injectors yet? Have u seen the new Milwaulkee ratchets they look sweet. I take it you been at this for a while.
Very nice
jeff williams,
Thank you Jeff for your nice comment! It looks like you have a very nice toolbox too! I'll be waiting for your toolbox inventory.

Looks cool.
jeff williams
I know just what you mean bout the lack of good, qualified technicians! Your are very right about it's only going to get worse. Most of the new technicians don't want to spend their hard earned money to buy good tools that will last them a lifetime of working on cars & trucks and yes they want all the money too!
Gregg (Critter) Muse
Sweet set up! I’ve got one you should check out.
Nice stuff. Does he seem as bored as I am ?
Wow! How many years to collect all that? If junky has $100k worth of tools this must be $150k!?
all my retirement money nice tools bro.
T Nguyen,
Thanks for visiting my video & for your comment.

What are the ac tap things? Where do you get them
Sorry, I just read your message from 2yrs ago. I got the A/C taps off of the Mac truck. I worked at a GM Dealerships from 1993 till 2008. The accumulators would gauled onto the lines. There to straighten out the internal threads on the a/c hose nuts. I hope that made sense. Thanks for watching and your comments.

Hey is that you?
Bumblebee Is that you?
Jamie Rollinson,
Thanks for viewing my toolbox video.

I do apologize Luigi. I didn't address my reply to you.

Talk to me I’m my love
I wish you would talk to me.
It wasn't worth losing you. I miss you. I was stupid.
Hey Gina, sorry but I've been out of pocket for the last 9months. Just saw your comments.
Who buys a 1/4 air impact ?
Who doesn't?!
Sirius Jones,
Thank you. The guy has evidently never tried 1 or at least never tried a good 1/4" Dr impact. I don't use it often but it's nice to have when you need 1.
Gregg (Critter) Muse
Love the box man amazing set up
