- This is one of three videos to come from my 5th of May adventure with Every Camera Counts, EL zorro yiro and Arizona Auditor. We are out in Mesa looking for police encounters when we stumbled upon Mesa Pd messing with some dudes ((illicitly)) parked in a handicap parking spot in front of a Quick trip Gas station!
This one is VERY interesting!

Soliciting a trespass is also unfair on the store worker, they're forcing them to choose between either upsetting the cops or upsetting the citizen, if they upset the citizen they face loosing a customer or making an unknow enemy, if they upset the cops they face slow response time or denial of service if and when needed... He dropped evidence on purpose, it was a trap for auditors.
Their regular intimidation tactics do not work anymore, so they call out the entire force for some petty parking violation and cameras!

I agree. Most of their killing happens during a traffic stop. And it starts with cops escalating the stop right from the beginning....an example is this; people have a right to pull over to a well-lit area and cops cannot stand that. They immediately say the person was fleeing and they treat it like a felony stop from there. With their guns drawn, yelling at the people in the vehicle...it just goes bad. They do what they can to get the person charged with other crimes all because someone didn’t use a turn signal 100 feet before they turned. Just petty.
Ever see videos gaddafi traveling in a Ford escort with couple cars behind an thousands in streets, compare that to any American president on the move, they close the city😊

Meanwhile rape, shoplifting, theft and other crime take place, but success rate is almost zero in resolving.

No crime in Mesa tonight, looks like they turned out the whole shift for a parking infraction and some citizens with cameras. Then still needed two Supervisors to make it especially stupid.

I can't believe how passengers just happily hand over the ID for not breaking the law. It's breathtaking everytme I see it. Knowing our rights will change the way you precieve everything.
From what I understood, the driver didn't have a valid DL, his buddy had to prove he can drive.

@@kapekodbob you're somewhat right, but you're a cop, you already caught the driver without a valid license, I would suspect the passenger to be in the same case as he wasn't driving either despite his friend driving without a valid license...
So in theory yes the cop couldn't check this beforehand without probable cause but in practice if he let someone take over the driving and this person crash the car the next block over and he hadn't a license...he will get in trouble.
Love it. Civilians finally getting the point about helping the good guys not the cops trying to get them trespassing.

The amazing aspect to this video is the fact that having determined this is a parking violation, officers continue to arrive, they walk around in the presence of the public as if each and every citizen is a violent felon, and thus must be watched with eagle eyes in case they change cameras. They don’t even know how ridiculously comical and childish they appear.
I cannot comprehend how these psychopaths live with themselves!
Keep up the good work, I personally love the insight and education, cops have to be put in check otherwise they run a muck, if they would just do their job with out ego and understand the law and who they truly serve, we could all get along, they are ruining themselves

When an officer walks into a place of business to solicit a trespass the business owner always feels obligated to comply with the officers request. It is implied that if the business owner refuses to cooperate with the trespass (or whatever request the officer makes) he will be labeled as someone who does not support the officers, and any police response to that business during an emergency will be delayed. That's just how it works when simple dipshits aren't weeded out during the hiring process.
They can never just ignore the camera!! They have to try and solicite a trespass instead of just doing their job and leaving lol

Every time and I mean EVERY TIME!! two or more officers walk away to converse after making contact and state that you're not free to go. It could be and should be assumed that they're conspiring to violate your rights.
If I were in charge of that retail outlet I would be on those cops to make them quit blocking my customers access to my business. If they came back onto the property they were to park in the marked spaces as other civilized people park or to stop at the pumps and gas up and as soon as they were filling up to move their vehicle to a marked space if they didn't leave the property.

You do realize getting permission to remain on the property ruined their fun. The ticket they issued for the handicapped violation was only a small part of this. You are right. The show of force sure appeared to be for the camera's all 9 units and many supervisor's. I suspect the cops are building a case for a new Mesa law/ordinance making it a crime to loiter around any crime scene and anything else they can think of to give themselves the powers to arrest you. They cannot violate your rights to film but can mess with your access out in public unless of course you always get permission to be on private property. You might want to pay close attention to the Mesa city council study sessions that are video'd and showed live on UA-cam. The schedule and topics of the session are public. The topics for discussion are listed so any pubic commentary can be made in advance. I would guess if the Mesa cops are planning something they will use your video's and others as evidence to back up their claims when it is presented to the full Mesa city council for a vote. You can head it off however by contacting your Mesa city council representative. There are six districts. They go by zip code. Locate your rep and email that person and arrange for an in person meeting. Our Mesa council rep in NW Mesa where we live is Mark Freeman. I don't know about the other council members or the mayor but Mr. Freeman is very easy to talk to and is concerned about Mesa. He is by the way the council liaison to the Mesa police department. Great video.
I can't tell you how many videos I've seen where the blue line gangsters solicit a tresspass and the auditor leaves. Not Direct D! Tells them what the law is and stands his ground.

Hi from the UK - was all that police presence really for a guy parked in a disabled spot or have I missed something else going on. That PD would appear to be ridiculously overstaffed cos there is obviously no REAL crime there so they all turn up to the only bit of action of the night. You should get one of those microphones that has a parabolic reflector on it like they do on the sidelines at the football games. You could hear what they are talking about from across the parking lot.
You may open yourself to wiretapping at that point. If you aren't ordinarily in hearing range, using special electronics to do it may open yourself up to invasion of privacy.

I'd have to dig up some info, but I thought that use of certain enhancement techniques is considered "wire tapping" since you weren't actually "in the conversation" or the range of it to hear it normally. I know there is a lot of latitude, but sound doesn't carry like sight does for pictures... so a high tech system could listen in from across a park and might fall outside protections.... kind like the thermal imaging cameras to see through walls.
