My favorite part was when he tested tipping the raft - right before he gets in the raft he wiggles his sandal to get the little bits of sand out - that was the BEST 😂
Hahaha! An unnecessary step now that I’m looking back😂 fun fact about the film I actually lost my wedding ring filming this segment👀 when I went in I had one.. when I come up I don’t!
Nothing worse than those Coloradan Grizzly bears lol... Also great point about how you can go a week without seeing a soul in Cheeseman Canyon! Place is known for its solitude.
Baffled at the comment section here. Sounds like a whole lot of folks I don’t want to go adventuring with. Not to mention jealous. This film ripped. Great cinematography, storytelling, and vibes. You guys crushed it- I love the whole lead up and planning pieces. Some pretty fish too- keep crushing.
@@liamgallagher6332 do you not realize your pretty attention hungry for commenting this? they arent attention hungry they are documenting their journeys, showcasing our beautiful country... some people may physically never be able to do this kind of trip, they can live through them... not to mention the sheer amount of skill it takes to not only do this but film and edit into such a beautiful short film...
Haha really nice stuff but no grizzlies in Colorado that I know of? Cheesman is an amazing fishery but damn is it crowded all the time! Sure would love to experience some of those areas out east thanks guys!😊
Yes!! Had a few people write me about this and I stand corrected!! When it came to writing the script I generalized a little too much and roped Colorado in being one of the states out west I remember worrying about wildlife, in our case it was big cats and more broad picture with Grizzly bear claim!! Appreciate you watching and keeping this an honest film!
My favorite part was when buddy goes “this is gonna be so cool” talking about the cinematic shots, followed by said shots. Obviously those shots were awesome, but with the added context of your buddies commentary I could just imagine how much cooler those shots are to the guys who experienced this stuff first hand. It made me so much more excited for my next trip.
“What will the river look like 100 years from now as so much of our society opposes the basic survival of river systems like these?” THUD. Now that line hit hard and is a question I wish more folks asked themselves. That's a diamond
Hey there! Thanks so much for watching 🙌🏼 we had a few set ups for this trip mainly 6wt Redington Predators and 5wt Vice rods, for reels we used the Run and Behemoths from Redington! For line we stuck with the Rio gold elite lines and the Rio streamer lines!
Algorithm is treating me well, Adam here 28 from Ireland big into fishing looking at making fishing content soon, can't wait to watch this and see what else comes cheers guys
absolutely stunning film! we would love to collaborate sometime! if your ever in the Carolinas let us know! were just getting started on our journey ascreators ut hit a stride of 30,000 subs in 3 months, would love to share the love!
trout routes takes all the fun out of finding the fishing holes , half the fun is exploring and discovering things for yourself . fishing is suppose to be a adventure not checking a app for fishing conditions 😅
Great film guys! The Ausable is my stomping grounds and " The Hungry Trout" is THE shop to go to for info...as long as you buy something, only fair, "one hand washes the other".
Love that!! And totally agree the hungry trout has been nothing but awesome in the way of resources, honesty, and top notch guides!! Appreciate the watch!
Enjoyed the video. Nice to finally see something on East Coast streams. Not that I don't like the ones out west, but there are so many. And thanks for not having 100's of "let's go!!" 😂😂😂😂😂
Companies actually work with this dude? You’d think they’d work with people who are actually good at fly fishing, and have a real passion for it that goes beyond making shitty content…
There’s a reason people are embarrassed to fish Fairbanks gear now days. The brands don’t realize how much the fly community dislikes this crowd of fake fishfluencers.
Kooks like this are the reason nobody wants to fish Redington or Rio anymore. It’s insane these companies keep choosing to work with the cringiest “fishfluencers” who care more about content than fly fishing, it’s ruining their image.
DAMN. You crushed this! Well done brother.
Scottie, I hope you know this comment is getting framed! 🫡😂 Appreciate you watching man, absolute honor to have you check this one out!

Trying to sell a trip of chasing stockers on the Ausable as some sort of backcountry wilderness adventure has got to be hyperbole of the decade
bros went on a 2 night 3 day float trip and called it an "adventure" lmao

Anytime anyone goes camping in the woods these days…. It must be some epic life altering super deep journey 😂
Indeed… do they not realize that other, less attention hungry, people just go and do this stuff?

Days without seeing a soul in Cheeseman? Grizzlies in Colorado? Did you take a toke before making these statements or were you trolling?
Awesome video guys!

Great film guys! The Ausable is my stomping grounds and " The Hungry Trout" is THE shop to go to for info...as long as you buy something, only fair, "one hand washes the other".

Enjoyed the video. Nice to finally see something on East Coast streams. Not that I don't like the ones out west, but there are so many. And thanks for not having 100's of "let's go!!" 😂😂😂😂😂
Glad you enjoyed!! Haha we tried to keep the “let’s go’s” to a minimum. Thanks for watching!!
Less talking more fishing…. I just watched 20+ mins of hipsters planning a 3 day weekend adventure.
Thanks for checking out 20 mins! We had a blast and I hope I can get ya on the next one 🫡
This is Hard🔥

I hate y’all talk way to much instead of fishing
My life is actually worse after watching this video
Tough to believe companies are supporting this garbage
