I plan to release this series EU4 Tutorium every 2nd Monday so that it alternates with the "normal" Content from week to week. Let me know what you think about this idea!
Thqnk yoy so much! I love your videos and playstyle. Ive only been playing eu4 for just under a year and im playing "harder" nations (by my standard) like holland, hamburg, krakow was a fun one. Very excited :))
How the "contest the PU mechanic works ?" Sometimes i get a warning that another nation is getting a PU and i can go to war with it and stesl its PU without marriages/claims on throne.
Question: How to get your ruler on another dynasty/ how to get a popular (for instance trastamara) dynasty on your throne? And do you have any tips on how to claim a pu?
PU Qestion: When do personal unions disappear? If I have a personal union that I have not integrated I have always tried to keep everything the same lest they break away but in your Ottoman example it looked like you switched to Elective Monarchy to get a new dynasty, which would definitely break the historical personal unions how I understand them. So what are the limitations? Can you not switch to a religion that disallows PUs? What about switching to a Republic?
Once you already got the Union literally the only way to lose that Union again is for them to have less than 0 opinion of you... anything else keeps the Union so the religion and the Government Type doesn`t matter once you have the Union
In your videos about personal unions, you used government reforms alot to basically change your dynasty at will and get PU this way. How would you "bank" more government reform to be able to spend it on those government switches in a normal playthrough ? In the same line of thought, how do you get your prestige high enough to always keep the PU ? Is it possible to get high prestige AND good government progress as a small nation to keep a big PU ?
I have almost 900 hours in EU4 and I still don't fully understand what determines which dynasty (local noble or the dynasties that have royal marriage with the country) will succeed to the throne after a king dies with no heir. Just recently I was the only one royal married to Naples (as Poland) and it showed that in the case of the king dying a local noble would succeed. However just a couple months later it showed that my dynasty would become the ruling dynasty of Naples. I'm still so confused about that and not sure what causes that.
How exactly works the pu system, what determines (aside the target nation in war or not) that i get the pu immedietly, or just a relative on my targets throne? What detemines in an inheritence war, who can fight for the target country's crown (and how could i replace one of the claimants, if i'm not one even with royal marrige with the target country)
Is there a way to have PUs while being a republic yourself or any way to PU non-monarchies? What exploits or better what possibilities using existing game mechanics are there about using a combination of different government-based idea groups? So is there something awesome with switching between republic and monarchy and having aristocratic and plutocratic ideas at the same time? (I really liked your latest idea group video about espionage and aristocratic!)
Dynasties & PUs question: Do you know if there any ways to make a particular PU not take up a diplomatic relation slot besides Austria’s new mission tree?
How do you prepare psychologically and materially for the seemingly endless wars in multiple theatres all over the map in the mid-end game? For a future episode.
Can we test out the specials units ? What is the best? For wich situation? Samurai? Tercios? Mousquetaire? Janissaries? Caroleans? Mali units? How can we obtain them? How many? Can we upgrade them? If they are not really good, are they good in certain situations? (It's for a custom country play)
Question: I never really used the 'Steer Trade' peace deal option since it's quite expensive (peace deal %) and usually Transfer Trade power is more relevant. In which case scenario would you use it as a viable peace deal option?
I found that it is possible to form Timurids, but for this you need a Timurid dynasty, for this there are decisions "Enthrone Timurid Prince" but it has a limitation of the year is before 1490. Is it possible to somehow get the Timurid dynasty without this decision after 1490?
we all love stacking modifiers and abusing the game to its limits. so if you have to chose a feature or a mechanic in eu4 that should be removed, what would it be?
There is no way that you can guarentee that but your best bet would be to try to get the support of as many of the strongest Nations you can and then hope that your overlord abandons you
hey magst eigentlich unserer mp gruppe beitreten? wir machen fast jede woche eine mp runde da sind wir so 6-10 leute und wir suchen ständig mehr Mitglieder die chillig sind
@@thestudentYT Let's not be too quick here... I think it's a good question. Let's imagine you're a country steadily growing. Are there good techniques for developing the land you have? I like to develop adm/dip/mil as high/low/high for bad trade goods to reach new building slot milestones, and low/high/low where there are good trade goods; maybe there are better strategies I'm missing.
Sure I said that it is a good question already! I just also said that the next episode will be about Dynasties and Personal Unions... so it is still a little off Topic xD

Oooh looking forward to this one, best of luck!
Based on r/eu4 every time there’s a sale another quick battle guide would probably be good
For a future video I'd love to see an objective guide on the *relative* value of the various land combat modifiers.
So like a Tier list? Like which one is better than another one and how much?

Best country/countries to get Atwix Legacy achievement? (10 PUs at the same time) + general tips on it?

@@thestudentYT Wow, that's insane. Thanks for answering. Can't wait to make use of this in the Sich Rada / Cavmaxxing campaign I've been planning.

Comment for the algorithm
Can we get a video about how to trigger ottoman decadence fast?!
The modifiers you get for beating it is really OP, but it takes years to trigger it.

You got another music :)
Question: how useful is "divine+espionage" policy? And how is useful "Artillery levels contribution to siege" modifier compared to other similar ones?
Dynasties & PUs question: Do you know if there any ways to make a particular PU not take up a diplomatic relation slot besides Austria’s new mission tree?

Since only the junior partner has to Christian to get a PU, could you get the Burgundian Inheritance as say, the Ottomans without switching religion?
Cool.

Good question and I'll try to remember it but it is not related to the Topic at all xD
@@thestudentYT Sorry... 😅Don't bother then. My bad!
Do a video on army composition so I can stop having to explain it to people
How do I determine how many light ships to use to protect trade/privateer in each trade node?
How stackable is the 'Years for personal union integration' modifier? Is it a modifier worth going for?

How does ai determine to declare war, independence or coalition
Can you keep your personal unions if you change government type, and if, how does it affect them?

How to get female ruler to do the achievements spicy girl on steam
About chances of insta integrating nation, like often austria do with burgundy, is it even worth sniping
Burgundy get's inherited via an event and that is definetly worth it... and otherwise yes it is worth it if you have a lot of Diplomatic Reputation

Definetly the hard Date Coding for Institutions Spawn :)

Not really the Topic of the video isn't it? xD
