Great recommendations. We need more of us on book tube.
Thank you! There’s more to come🥰
Exactly let me start right now
I really need to read before I let go!
You won’t regret it, it’s sooo good!
Yes! I’ve been eyeing this book. I’m adding that to my cart
Love this!! Go Jadaa❤
Love these suggestions ❤
For me, when a book ends abruptly I try to assume a sequel to follow up is in the new future
Thank you so much for the recommendations!
Of course!
Yess glad I found this video because I want to get in the habit to start reading more books
I started and now I can’t stop! Lol it’s a great pass time
Before I Let Go…definitely was captivating ❤❤
Yes! She recently released another book in the series “this could be us” which was really good also!
Thanks queen for your reviews. Going on Vaca and now I have a book to read.
Hope you enjoy it!!
I started Before I let go and I was loving it it’s just so long lol but I’m giving it another shot! I just borrowed it from the library lol. Thanks for all the recommendations!
Of course! It is pretty long lol, but it was so hard for me to put down once I started
I liked Maame. 5 star read for me.
It was definitely a great read! Just a little hard for me to get into, but I absolutely loved the ending!
Maame is next up
For me
Def worth the read!
How do I get my book to you for you to read?
If you’d like to contact me via email we can discuss that further and i’d love to read and make a review!
nightcrawling left me heartbroken.
Omg yes🥺 it was so good but so sad.. I really wanted better for all of them
@@thatssojada_ yea especially when thats a reality for a lot of inner city kids. i wonder if she will make a part 2.
Try something weird:
Black Man's Burden (1961) by Mack Reynolds
Black American characters in Africa written by a White man. But consider the date. I wonder if a Black author could have gotten this published where it was. MLK and Malcolm X could have read this. I am sure their responses would have been interesting.
It is free on the Internet.
I’ll be sure to check that out! I haven’t heard of it. It’ll definitely be on my list for 2024

Your books seem to all be personal stories. How much do Black women pay attention to global power games. I was in the draft lottery for Vietnam but I never heard my mother say anything about what was happening over there.
Try:
Daemon & Freedom by Daniel Suarez
It has two major Black characters, a man and a woman but they never meet.
The Ukraine and China are disrupting the world right now China may be on the verge of an economic implosion bigger than 2008.
🌸🫧Jesus Christ is LORD🫧🌸
All books are for all people. Why bring ethnicity into it?
Seven days in June was so addictive for me. I read it at the perfect time in my life. It helped me let go of things that feel good but aren’t necessarily good for me.
