Live life now!
We do our best
Love to see some content of your sailing ❤
Oh wow, congratulations on the house! How exciting, I hope to see videos of it in the future. Safe travels.
Wow Matt! So cool to see you're also into sailing. Adventurous spirits gravitate to overlanding and sailing I suppose. I'm impressed with the amount of stuff you've been sneakily working away on in the background. Well done guys you're creating an awesome life 😁🤙
Yeah, I feel like overlanding is the land-based version of "cruising" in a boat.
Thank you. We're doing our best to dream big and be creative😁
So amazing. I would love to see more of your house and property. It’s also a dream of mine.
I’m in chilliwack BC Canada. I know some great back country camping spots. Even some with hot springs. When you guys come up. Thanks for sharing.
Sounds great.
And thanks for the input with the video idea😁
Quite the life! I look forward to you bringing us along on that Baja-to-Alaska trip. All the best to you and Amy.
🤔 we want to hear from Amy, why is she never on videos? Do you have her captive on that boat?🧐🤔
She promised to never do fiberglass work again after our first build, so she was staying away during all those build videos 😂
Hopefully I can get her back on camera soon if I tempt her with some camping.
i'll watch whatever you enjoy most making!
Which city in Mexico did you choose?
It's a town (700 people) in Central Baja. Can't wait to get out of the hustle of california city life
Looking forward to following you both on your adventures 😊👍
Awesome! Congrats on the next chapter! Can’t wait to watch more
Thanks so much!!
Love it, you guys! Such a great channel -
Looks like a great life. Have fun.
Well done guys 👍🔥🔥🔥
Wow cool stuff!!! Sailboat, Mexico Casa ,trip to Alaska ... Live the dream
Better than dreamin about living 😉 🤙
You guys are my ❤ overlander channel! God willing we will cross paths one day! Appreciate you guys sooooo much!
Thanks Charles. I appreciate you taking the time to send us those kind words. We make a lot of paths, it's likely ours could cross😁
Baja California yaaay!
Good choice 🌊🏄♂️
Congrats . I feel lucky to have found your channel. I recently retired from building custom homes. I built my custom camper and have begun adventuring solo and with my wife in Utah. I also own a Catalina 34 sailboat and enjoy Catalina. I’m hoping to do the Baja ha ha. Your trip to Alaska has me intrigued as well as your Mexico home construction. Adventure while you can!
Thanks
Sounds like you are poised for some amazing adventures of your own. Good luck in the baja Haha and safe travels.
What a cool way of life!
Wow. Been 5 years! Wow. Took me 4 years to save up for my mexico 🇲🇽 roadtrip that I did for 4 months! Am back to saving to do that trip even longer! Wish you two the best! And make the dreams come truly the sacrifices are always worth it once the journey begins! #lifegoals
Can't get enough of Mexico 😁 Good luck on your saving and your future travels
I enjoy watching your auto repair work and surf segments. You've done a ton of DIY stuff. Maybe a video on how you shoot your content? I notice you use drones, time lapse and a variety of techniques. Thanks.
Thanks. I appreciate the idea.
Whoa congrats on the house! That looks like Todos Santos/ Pescadero... heavenly place if you can swing it.
We're up in Central Baja where things are still a bit quieter and cheaper, but that area is nice.
All the best.
Thanks for the snippets of your busy lifestyle. Your house looks like it’s going to be hurricane proof. Is potable water hard to obtain in that region of Baja? Well or trucked?
House should be very sturdy. Our contractor is by-the-book and the government recently upped the requirements on rebar diameter and the like.
We are piped into the municipal well. Getting the permit took some patience, but a big part of why we chose the location we did was the availability of water.
Keep going guys - and if you are stopping in Vancouver island, let me know, we live in Victoria and could offer some great ideas etc. ✌️
don't know when, but we'll definitely be coming through your neck of the woods 👍
The construction of your house would make an interesting video.
Thanks for the suggestion 👍
Nice update on what’s going on in your life. I used to own a Perry 47 that I sailed throughout the Gilt Islands and the Georgia Strait, then I got into long distance motorcycle touring on my beloved Harley Davidson. A serious motorcycle accident cost me a leg, my bike and I could no longer live on my boat. Three years of vanlife in a Dodge minivan and now I am ready for the next phase. I’m having a custom trike built and a custom trailer to pull it behind my converted ambulance. Future plans are winters in Baja and summers in Alberta & SE British Columbia, so we might very well run into each other on one road or the other. Incidentally, I’m 78 years old and still kicking it old skool. I’m really enjoying your channel. We seem to be kindred spirits though you’re a hell of a lot younger and a hell of a lot handier than I’ll ever be. Looking forward to your next video and your next adventure. 😊
Sounds like an adventurous life with more to come. we'll probably cross paths eventually.
@@TheTravelingTogetherJournal indeed.
great life best wishes
Camping and your build in Mexico would be great videos
Thanks for the suggestion. I just got back from a quick, solo camping trip and will be working on the edit👍
You guys are amazing , thanks for all your content !
Thanks for the update
You scored a live-abord in SoCal? Sweet! Did a few years in Santa Cruz on a Catalina 27. It was....cozy. Congrats on Mexico. I was headed to Panama until a year or so ago. Now unclear on the next adventure.
Yeah, the Catalina 27 is pretty snug for the 2 of us and the pup. I called around to 20 or so marinas to find one that had a liveaboard permit available.
Love watching your adventures and admire your ingenuity.
Thank you very much!
