Pistol Pete’s are very regional. I’ve always seen them in Walmart growing up in the Rocky Mountain area, but going just one state over I never see them, even in specialty tackle shops
I have caught more trout on fly and bubble than any other single method. I often tie a blood knot and do a hopper/dropper just like with a fly rod. An orange stimulator and a small midge or mayfly emerger are hard to beat. What the bubble lacks in finesse it more than makes up for with reach.
Thank you for featuring the Pistol Petes on this video, looked like you had a great day fishing!
Hi- Country have you considered a trailer hook for the short strikers like they do for Kokanee?
Making it look easy Joe! Way to go!
Eagle Claw has 3 sizes of the water bobber 1, 2 and 2 1/2 inch. What size do you recommend?
The guy at Basspro said no one buys petes... apparently the trout buy em. Every vid I've seen, they love them.
