    I just want to say, your diagram that you drew up @ 20:20 is so damn helpful. I wish there were more visual representations of bends like this one & others, in the material i am shown in school. These videos have been a lot more helpful.
    You are a gem for the community my man. an electrician's electrician if there ever was one. lol.

    An idea for a video maybe. You’re favorite tools for bending. Like why you use a folding rule. Or your favorite reamer. And maybe another video about some beginner tips for do and don’t with bending conduit like always use a pencil.

    Thanks man I've taught myself how to bend pipe with your videos. One question for compound 90s I have though is for parallel compound 90s would it be the same half tangent formula?

    so in simpler terms correct me if im wrong mark "a" = x+y-z . mark "b" = 1.4(x+y) distance away from mark "a"

    • @TheArtOfConduitBending
      @TheArtOfConduitBending  3 роки тому

      Yes in simpler terms that is definitely correct. Very good my brother. I think ill have to re do the video when the time comes. Thank you.

  • @MiguelCastillo-yw3tj

    You should do the compound square obstruction video. If your multiplier is 3 for the square formula do you have to divide by 3 also to get your A mark

    • @TheArtOfConduitBending
      @TheArtOfConduitBending  4 роки тому

      Thanks for commenting and watching. I think you got it confused a little. To get mark A you divide by 1.4 doesn't matter what formula you're using it for. It was just a coincidence that the rect. Obstruction multiplier was 1.4 as well. So to answer your question if you have a square obstruction you multiply by 3 and divide the answer (spacing btwn bend marks A & B) by 1.4 and subtract that amswer by the total distance to find A location. Hope this helps. Im on all major podcasts now i will be uploading all my content slowly and im putting together some special content for the podcast listeners only. Podacast links

    • @TheArtOfConduitBending
      @TheArtOfConduitBending  4 роки тому

      @@MiguelCastillo-yw3tj thats what im talking about. For square multiply the square dimensions by 3 then divide the answer by 1.4. To get mark A. I will do a video.

    • @TheArtOfConduitBending
      @TheArtOfConduitBending  4 роки тому +4

      Sure no problem. Enough people ask for the square video ill do it. There's nothing odd about it. Its only a square object positioned a certain way. That's it.
