This is an amazing video. I love this content. Very informative and gives some insight to Redbacks. I currently wear the Easy Escape HD. Thanks for making awesome boots! Australians make great boots and have the best metal bands I swear LOL
For such a well established boot of great quality there sure is a shortage of dealers. Im in Minnesota, USA and there are no dealers, Ive even contacted Redback about this. This makes getting a proper fit rather difficult because you have to order the boots, try them on, and send them back for an exchange if they don't fit properly. The sizing is different than the norm as I wear a 12 (US) in everything but a 12 (US) is too loose in a Redback. I'm going back and forth now trying to order a correct fit.
I just purchased the Nevada few days ago. I noticed there is a white tag in between the back pull tag that has the manufacturer date and batch number. My boots were made 1 year ago. So I'm guessing they were in a box at the store all this time. Is there anything I should be worried about that a 1 year old boot was sold to me?
No worries at all. It takes time to get the boots from our factory in Australia to Canada to our dealers and finally to your foot. Our warranty is one year from date of purchase.
UBBK= black boot with clear sole (without steel toe), UBOK= Same as the first but in brown, BUBBK= Black boot with black sole (without steel toe). The b at the beginning stand for a black sole, when the firs letter is a u then you have a clear sole. When they called USBOK then they have a steel toe, the s mean its have a steel toe (s=safety).
Been wearing the easy escapes for a few days now and my plantar fasciitis is completely gone! Most comfortable boot I've ever worn! This boot saved my feet so I won't complain too much about how stylish they are lol. If REDBACK made a more western style boot as comfortable as these, they would make millions more in the United States. Just sayin...
Trying to find the bobcat greenpatch with the scuff cap. Can't find it listed anywhere. Closest thing I can find is the easy escape HD steel toe, but, it doesn't have the lenzie puncture protection midsole. I'm coming from blundstone, working construction and definitely need the lenzie and toe cap. Can anyone point me to a retailer that carries the bobcat greenpatch with the scuff cap? Thanks **answered, only the easy escape comes withe the scuff cap. No scuff cap on the Canadian greenpatch (bobcat) **
I just ordered a pair to a store, didn’t have my size or I’d have it rn, also didn’t want to pay before I tried them on. CSA certified from Mister Safety Toe. Hopefully this is able to hold up to the hype.
@@Thepandorasbox it turns out that they only have the scuff cap option on the easy escape HD steel toe model, (USA). Not available for the csa approved greenpatch steeltoes in Canada. It's too bad the USA model doesn't have the Kevlar puncture-proof midsole, I live 10 minutes from the border. As it turns out, I tried the bobcat redback on yesterday, in my regular size, too loose, and a half size down, too tight. Looks like I'm sticking with the blundstones after all.
I give Americans a hard time about Canadians saying "about" a funny way. I'm guessing this guy is in from the East Coast because I'm from the West and now I can clearly see what the yanks are hearing. 😁
regarding our work boots, our dealers in Canada only carry the CSA steel toe at the moment, the CSA scuff Cap launch has been delayed for a bit...sorry!
Best steelcapped workboots I have ever worn..... Super comfortable

Have purchased 5 pairs now they last twice as long compared to other boots I have worn over the years
Just bought a pair at Murphy gear here in Canada. I'd try there.
These are tempting due to their heavy discount over Blundstones, but Redback's soles look like winter wellies while Blundstone is more shoe-like

What ended up being your size?
A UK 10.5 fits me, which is a US 11.5.@@jeremym1706
The black widow spider resides in Canada too. Two species. Not as comfy as your boots but just as wicked looking! 😬
Do you recommend applying mink oil for leather protection?
I have seen the black with toe cap anywhere in Canada. That is the one I want the most.
Did you ever find a pair of steel toes with the scuff cap?
@@madmox2000 no.

I am gonna pick up a pair... sick of buy cheap steel toes that fall apart in a few months... also sick of tying my boots 😆
What are the differences between the acronyms? UBBK, UBOK, BUBBK, etc?

Which one is best for just daily walking most comfortable?
Very good information man

Do they have the same fitment as the easy escapes?
Nice to see the toe cap has come on the steel toe model thats what ive been waiting for on the redbacks
Did you ever find a pair with the toe cap? Can't find them anywhere...
@David Moxon nope haven't seen a toe cap on the red blacks yet

@David Moxon are the half sizes in the redbacks the same as the blundstones meaning "wide fit"?

I don't beleive they glue the sole but infact use a hotknife because this material donsn't adhere with glue.
They're a great boot for squashing redbacks.
Where to buy in Canada with the toe cap?
walk in comfort selling them

How about the leather conditioner, where is it available in Canada?
@@redbackbootscanada8348 just checking in to see if that scuff capped version is available yet?
Great boots but Don’t wear in winter….they are COLD
Thick socks wont make a difference..?
you cant just say v cut is for people with a different shape... you have to specify what's the difference! or is it more for women?
Probably great for a work boot. But I hate that goofy looking outsole. Way too busy.
Canadian? They're only made in Australia!
Where to buy in Canada? Toronto pls provide the address.
They sell these at Softmoc
check out our dealer locator Redbackboots.ca thanks!
To bad they don't make boots for grown ups they don't come in 8 inch
TF does the height of a boot have to do with being a "grown up"?
