It is almost 15 years in the future lmao. I just bought a TM60 in new condition, and these amps are STILL some of the best solid state amps that exist. I bought a TM10 in 1999 and it is still alive and kickin.

Have to agree with intheblues here, these amps are FAT and WARM sounding, and the best part is they sound the same at bedroom volume as they do in clubs. I play this amp out several times a week and get more compliments on my tone and playing on this amp then any other amp I own, and that includes a real '66 Super Reverb, a Blues Jr, Blues Deluxe, Peavey Classic 30, Fender Roc Pro 1000. This amp has become my go to amp for most everything. Super versatile, super responsive to touch. Cleans up!

I love my Trademark 60, it's become my main amp for ANY style, and it's light... after having schlepped around MESA Boogie, Marshall, Vox and Fender amps for years
, my back (and my hands) are very grateful :-)

LOVE my Trademark 60. Such a sweet sounding amp with many tonal options. Bought it for $70 US on the local classifieds!! They had no idea what they had.
Sounds AMAZING through a 4x12 Marshall cab. I will never sell it. :)

@KingTabor I can't really say it works great with pedals because I don't think I've really needed to use them with it. I have a tried an o/d pedal one gig but I found it compressed/fuzzied the sound up a little. The boost switch on the amps foot pedal does the job nicely. I'm sure it would work with all pedals though depending on the sound you start with.

This thang is still an unsurpassed technical wonder. With some minor tweeks you change your sound from SRV to Led Zep to Jazz.. At bedroom level as well. No modeling ; it's pure analog signals we're talkin about here without any digital approach. Own it for over 6 years, no longing for tubes. How did they do it?

I had a Trademark 10 that sounded bad azz through my Mesa 1x12 cab with a Black Shadow 80 even with Lace Sensor Pup's in my Jeff Beck Strat.........I was even going to take the head out and mount it inside the Mesa cab and make it a 1x12 combo it was that good

Shane, very good playing and a very good review!
I own a Trademark 30 and a Trademark 60 2x12 and I can recommend these amps to everyone, I´ve never missed a Tubeamp, they really do have the warmth of tubes, hard to distinguish from a tube amp!

Great amp, I have the 1x12 Trademark 60. It imediatedly became my main amp, I use a line6 Pod X3 live in front of it. My last amp before this one was a Fender Hot Rod Deville, I miss nothing from it exept volume in rare situations. The solution will be a 2x12 Trademark.

Been playing a Trademark 60 for many years now, southern
rock to rockabilly. It’s great on any volume and for any style. Enough when the
other guitarist plays a Marshall 100 watts and sounds fat at home, at really
low volume. The line-out is great for plugging into a PA system, hardly any
difference with a mic in front of it. I am very happy with this little amp!

Dude my buddy got the Trademark 60 out of a pawn shop for a couple hundred dollars. Its the 112 version. We changed out the factory Trademark 60 speaker for a Celestion 80 and back mounted the speaker. What a difference! It opened the amp up and made it sound clearer at lower volumes with a bigger punch. Its an Awesome amp!! I would never part with his if I had it.

Tubes amps are all about FEEL. I've had many different tubes amps. some are very sensitive to touch, such as matchless and budda and some Dr Z and so on. I think they're tooo sensitive, but for a good player there's nothing like it.. They do take time getting used to. Marshalls and Fenders are less sensitive to touch, but thats wut i prefer. I've never herd a SS amp sound like a matchless, EVER !

I have one question and please excuse my lack of knowledge but could you explain to me the difference between digital and analog amps. Good luck with the rugby World Cup bro. +Stillearning 046 (Stihlearning) Tech 21 amps are solid state/transistor amps but that said they sound nothing like most digital amps. The only modelling/digital amp I can recommend is the Fender Mustang V2 amplifiers. The tech 21 has all analog controls and pots so you use it as you would any valve amp. Some digital amps have LCD screens, colorful LED lights and too many settings. This is simple great sounding amp. I should of kept it. :) Hope that helps mate. I am not really a huge rugby fan but lets see how we go. :) Cheers.

I have one and while you can get great clean and distorted sounds there is one flaw with the amp: The clean and dirty channel share the same high and low controls. So many times I find the right clean sound and then the distorted sound isn't great or likewise I find EQ a great distorted sound but the clean sound suffers

    • @MikeCarlyleWMass
      @MikeCarlyleWMass 10 років тому

A design decision, I suppose rather than a "flaw". Many amps share this arrangement of shared tone between channels, including the Fender Hot Rod Deluxe.
