Hello again guys! Here to give you my daily input from the novel itself! Izu, the crafstman girl, actually went to a special dungeon to grind for the materials she needed and the monster she defeated was a boss that she had fought many times before but couldn't kill because of how powerful it is. That monster is a special boss since the only way to kill it is by breaking the crystals on its back and could only be broken by using a pickaxe that only a craftsman could wield. Craftsman class actually don't level up the same way as other classes. They can't actually hold weapons aside from hammers, pickaxes, and other weapons that are used from crafting. So the game has special dungeons for Craftsmen where monsters would have materials on their body where the players can strike to kill them to gain exp. Izu's item set is actually pretty broken since like mentioned on the episode she can craft any item anywhere without any workbenches and also buy materials wherever she is as long as she has gold. That means she doesn't really have to gather materials since she can technically buy them from the shop. When they said in episode 9 that "It's the first time we're fighting together", it's actually because in the novel Sally actually took more than 10 orbs that time and she will periodically go back to the base to return some orbs so Maple, Mai, and Yui are the ones defending from the other guilds attacking their base while the others are busy getting orbs. Like I said in the previous episode, [Loving Sacrifice] will protect all the allies inside the aoe and will transfer the damage to the caster. Because Dread was using a piercing attack on Syrup that time, Maple actually took damage and Sally was concerned that Dread will spread the news to his guild after he revives. The novel actually takes about 30+ chapters for the whole duration of the event and the anime condensed it to 4 episodes so if you think that some parts are being rushed then this is the reason why.
They still do it well though even with the rushed parts. This is actually an anime I can forgive for rushing since this is not a serious one. I guess I can compare this to Arifureta that was also rushed and done poorly. The main difference is that Bofuri is just meant to be a relaxing comedy that people can just sit down and enjoy with family and get a good laugh. Most people don't care about the plot and just want to see Maple break the game in new ways that are also hilarious. Arifureta is the exact opposite since it is a serious anime that needs to take its time to truly appreciate all the hard work the author did and the effort that was put into it. The author of Bofuri was just having fun with these characters. Probably only had a few things planned such as abilities and events and just went with it, the story may have written itself then. This is just my opinion though since I haven't read the light novels. I mainly read the manga for Arifureta. The point is Bofuri is an anime that we don't need to see everything to enjoy it in fact having several episodes of characters grinding and playing the game normally may get boring, we don't want normal we want maples definition of "normal".

It is one of the EXTREMELY FEW light novels that actually • Has the MC get laid on a regular basis, and • Builds up the harem in a slow, believable fashion, where the female lead is the one doing most of the orchestrating (because unlike High School DxD, Arifureta's MC is still self-effacing enough to continuously call himself a one-woman man, despite said woman encouraging him to be frisky). And that's not even touching on the sheer detail the anime cuts out in regards to the main character's abilities and tools. He's able to reload his guns like a total Chad because he practiced for over a month, and he was able to make guns in the first place because he failed hundreds of attempts before getting the perfect balance in materials. The anime makes him look like a Chuuni fvkboi, when the only reason he's able to be so casually confident is because he's put the time, effort, blood, sweat, and tears into reaching that level of ability. In bofuri, by contrast, while Maple might look up things on the internet and then attempt them in game, she's much more whimsical in her decisions because nothing bad will happen just because she messes up a quest or event.
Sally is by far Maple Tree's strategist, evidence of why she gave false information. The reason why Shin want to fight Kasumi because she beat her in a sword fight. And also why Payne is weary of maple tree is because he only wants to fight Maple and know whose the strongest. Basically, by the time I'm watching episode 10, I realized this event is not a fight between most of the guilds, but a three-way showdown between Holy sword, Flame emperors, and Maple tree. Edit: oh yeah since you already watch episode 11 and 12 at your patreon. Payne and Mii are the only once outside of Maple Tree that can do a lot of pressure against Maple.

Loving sacrifice doesn't have time limit. It effects all allies with the skill cover so you take DOUBLE the damage they would take. On a sensible player, that skill is useful sometimes. The issue is Maples defense is so high she takes 0 damage doubled. The limit is SUPPOSED to be the fact that you have finite hp resources.
@@ismael8391 Cover is what doubles the damage. However it's actually Cover Move which doubles the damage, so the tank is still only taking single damage - after the initial damage hit in the first place. A great tool if your team has powerful (or even adequate) single target healers.
@@ismael8391 loving sacrifice takes hp to use once used it protects everyone in the area of effect with the skill cover and the skill cover protects an ally by applying your defence to them at the cost of you recieve double the damage your ally receives using your defense stat instead of theirs and you gain a 10% vit bonus .... anyone within the area effect has maples defense stat in the AOE and any damage that gets through the defence is multiplied by 2 and given to maple with maples defense any non piercing damage attack causes 0 damage 2 x 0=0 so maple receives 0 damage one way it was explained to me but i have also been told there is no double damage effect it only applies the standard amount of damage which again is still 0 but when maple uses cover move which teleports her to whoever she protects with cover she clearly stated at the time she gets double damage there are other skills maple can activate only after loving sacrifice one of which creates a dome of light that nullifies all damage but to cast it you must pay a 600 hp casting cost Loving Sacrifice: Allies in an area of 10-meters, centered on the caster, are always under the effects of Cover. In the Anime, the damage was transferred from Syrup to Maple. there is a wiki for this stuff though and i saw no double damage mentioned
mii the flame emperor is like ainz...all charisma but afraid and kinda dumb LOL mapple got no speed, then got a flying turtle mapple got no damage, then got hydra, mecha, and alien
What i think fits the anime well is that they did cut out the points where maple was rather savage and truly evil XD Maple is the Demon Lord/Demon God Paine is the Holy Knight Hero Mii and her guild are the elite group which guides a new and unexperienced hero (which Shin from Flame Emperors fits too) Basically 2 groups of heroes against the Demon King
Even if months late... to answer your question, yes, PKing is a thing in that game. Had Sally, Maple and the twins fought Frederica there instead of it being a duel, Frederica would've died and dropped some gear (and with her being one of the game's top players, it would've been a real loss for her). On the other hand, in a duel, you don't lose anything even if you lose/die in it.

in my opinion smaller guilds should get more points then large guilds cause smaller guilds half to do more work and work harder, they are in disadvantage, so the fact that all guilds get same amount of points is unfair

Small Guilds get 2-points overtime while Medium Guilds and Large Guilds get 1-point overtime, they do get more points, 3-points would be too much.
