I've always lived too far away from Civil War camps and battlefields to relic hunt. When I see all the digging and effort you go through in hopes of finding something, it makes me appreciate what it takes to uncover these relics. I have a small collection of items from two battlefields. Since watching your videos, I now wonder if the relic hunters who provided me with the items in my collection went through the same efforts you all do. I'm sure they did it for the enjoyment, but I doubt what I paid equaled their work.
SWL, that's an insightful comment! I have only sold a tiny handful of what I've found. I tell myself I worked too hard for it to sell it for what the market says it's worth. Funny thing is, if I sold it all, most days it wouldn't cover my GAS!
One of my favorite youtubers to me.. keep on walking walker.. i learned over the years some years we have the luck in finding stuff and some years we wonder what are we doing in here lop. Persistent paid off for me today. Found a beautiful patriotic button from the 1820ish bucket lister for me.. cant wait for the next video
Dewey, You are reaching BACK THERE for that button, man! 200 years! And man, I really appreciate your super-kind words. It inspires me to try to earn it!
It's nice finding stuff, but it's also nice walking huge fields. I was off this week so I got out numerous times, even though it rained a few days. Thanks
Thanks Swamp! Only comment so far agrees with me "eroded sharps" theory. That house was last rented to a super trashy dude. I mean threw his garbage everywhere. The yard is next-to impossible. But I want to get into the plowed field right in FRONT of that house!!
HA! You'll have to bribe Mudduck! Because I would agree with that in a heartbeat. If it was my permission, I'd take you until you found the hot spot. Then I'd go back alone!!!!!! (I'm just kidding old buddy!) So far, I'm the only one the landowner has agreed to. As pretty as Amy and Genna are, but the landowner says no. What chance do you think YOU'VE got with that mug??
Another Historic Adventure. Thanks for taking us along with you. COOL finds. Melted lead is almost as good as a bullet - you KNOW they were there!
Steve you are on target! That's right! We just need to find that spot that's THE spot, you know?

Glad to see you’re taking advantage of this nice weather to hunt. Good luck!
Thanks Leeder. Today it rained so much, I saw a bunch of animals headed for the shore walking two-by-two!

Walker, what a beautiful permission site. I can't wait to get out somewhere soon to hunt. I enjoy your videos. 💯 %❤ Donnie- W.V.
That means a lot to me Donnie! Thank you. And yes, even with a light pouch at the end of the day, what an honor to be allowed to go!
Walker - my first impression was the same as your's. Eroded ring-tail Sharps. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Gary. I think our guts told us right.
Thanks for sharing Walker. Always enjoy watching. Hope y’all find some more great relics next time.
Appreciate it Joe. There's a lot more there . . . we just gotta get our coils over it!
Another great video. Good luck on your quest for info on that interesting bullet.
Thank you Brian!
Goes to show you, you can't believe a Mud Duck. Great hunt Walker.
Dennis, you REALLY gotta watch him. He's a preacher, and they are masters of misdirection!
Lmao, you can't serve god and mammon so, praise the lord and pass the ammunition.@@thebattlefieldwalker2841

Jeff, I agree 100%. Even a light pouch at the end of the day can't ruin a place like that!
Hopefully you can go back and hunt around that old house. That site looks promising. It will be interesting to see what you figure out on that bullet.

Looking through McKee & Mason page 34 I agree, very worn corroded “sharps”
Thanks Louie! That seems to be the consensus . . .
The piece you found @5:00 looks like it would be perfect to display your 32 pound cannon ball on!
Dang it Jerry! You are dead on! I wonder if I brought it home?! Now I gotta go look in scrap heap, because it really WOULD be perfect!!
Great day
Thanks man! We didn't fill any wheelbarrows, but we enjoyed ourselves!
A 3rd person would increase your odds…..just saying!
