These e23s look SOOO good with some nice wheels and lowered suspension on them, totally transforms them from being just an 'old car' to something with purpose and intent!
Good job! I'd like to do this to mine some day after fixing the other stuff :D By the way, how do you make the thumbnails for your videos, they look really cool?
@@mattp733i Are the "sports" the discontinued B8? All I see available now are the "performance" B6 versions, which are meant for non-lowering springs. Thanks!
I did a set of 28MM drop sport springs & Bilsteins on a D2 A8L Quattro. Car is metallic black, tinted windows, 18" Hypergram wheels w/polished lip, trunk lip spoiler and took the rear 40+ pound muffler & replaced it with a stainless, dual in/out Magnaflow sporting tips. Is it fast? Nope. Does it look good? Yup. Goes down the highway just fine, too-
These front coilovers would not be streetlegal overseas. Welding? Absolutely not done and would not pass any test anymore. Besides that, you have got one of the best shock absorbers you can get for a BMW from Bilstein (B6 modell) on the car! You only would need to fit some lowering springs (Eibach or H&R) that you can order for any hight you want. These give you more comfort than any coil over will give to you. But hey, it's your thing
I could have not welded them and they still aren’t going anywhere. You really have to pound the spindle in there. That is besides the fact that they came from Europe. So they are sold there. There are probably a lot more options for these cars in Europe. There weren’t many of them here to begin with. I’m not unhappy with them. I do appreciate the feedback. Hopefully you enjoyed the video.

It does look pretty awesome.
Wow! Those front ones really look like a major project.
Yeah they are a bit of a job for sure.
Too many memes
Thanks for the feedback.

Thumbnails are done in midjourney. :-)
Beautiful!
Thanks!!
Looks nice! I just put bav auto lowering springs and bilstein shocks/struts. Looks just as low your car. Great video!
These look pretty good when they are lowered I think.
Which Bilsteins did you use with your lowering springs ?
