Please delete this video, ad-didu waters down the pure Aqeedah of the Salaf and has a lot of very serious mistakes in Aqeedah which scholars have warned against, including Shaykh Sulayman Ruhayli.

@anon Only scholars are suitable to criticize, refute, and debate other scholars. The vast majority of us lack even 10% of his knowledge and even less understanding. Beware that there's also pseudoscholars who have all but abandoned our traditionally honored methods of learning and understanding as well as neglecting the aml (action) by assuming they can just read something and through intellect can fully grasp it's meaning and detail. Lastly, if this brother has been proven to be false or flawed in teachings then bring your proof otherwise you're being counterproductive and making accusations you cannot sustain.
That chain of hadith was just absolutely mesmerising 😮. Like WOW WOW WOW. A living chain to the Prophet Muhammad SAW in front of your very eyes.
You need such a clear mind to be able to do this subhanAllah, if one just thinks about all the filfth and nonsense our brains are being fed with in the West... you just wanna flee to Mauritania already - may Allah preserve our children's and our sanity.

This is a smart way of not answering the question. Read the entire chapter intro of Sunnan Ibn Majah - the importance of clinging to the sunnah - the hadith are authentic s several GREAT ulama have discussed them at length. Yes groups are not resurrected but the saved sect is a metholdogy and a manhaj that you have to adhere to. Otherwise everyone can practice islam how they please according to your own understanding. Perhaps it’s time we took aqeedah seriously and searched into matters deeply for ourself.

As a hindu, the video was greatly informative and looking at the wisdom of a knowledgable muslim, I can say it is a perfectly designed and beautiful religion
Edit: thank you for your kind words. It has been more than a year since I have been researching islam, I sure got many misconceptions cleared out, but few of my questions are yet to be answered, my journey of seeking truth is still ongoing and I am willing to wait and learn instead of rushing into a belief, because if I do that I would not be doing justice to the curiosity and striving for truth that comes to me as gifts of being a human.
I actually like a muslim girl, she is a very modest and respectable person, and when I confessed my views for her, she obviously denied but she said that she finds me as a nice person too and as she likes me too, she started teaching me about islam slowly, thus, I figured that instead of simply telling me that I need to be a muslim to be with her, she just guided me towards islam so that I discover it myself.

Sheikh dadu knows over 50 islamic sciences, in their totality, by heart. it’s impossible to comprehend how much blessing this guy was given in Elm. a tiny example, there is a poem, just a poem, that captures all quranic tafseers of the whole quran in about 50,000 verses. he knows it all. and that poem is just one little thing, in one of the 50+ fields that he mastered. may Allah guide us all and give him stability and benefit us and the scholars with his insight. and give us more people like him who can revive the nation across countries.

Within the first 5 minutes the Sheikh has changed my core understanding of the deen and brought up things that make sense but had never been explicitly said in any other talks I've watched. Allahumma barik may Allah preserve him and grant him a high rank in Jannah.

The Aqida of Salaf is to establish the atributes that came in Quran and sunnah. He may have memorised books, but it does not make him a man on the truth, stop blindly following people.

We need this scholar to come more to this show. I have learned so much just in 28 minutes, subhanAllah. Every question was answered so precisely in a way that does not offend any school of thought, but brings Muslims closer to each other, MashAllah!
The brilliance of it is that it isnt just for show, like how some will make claims to appease non-muslims societies, but all this information is established in the Religion. I know someone local to me who left our small town to go and study Islam. He's returned now and occasionally gives speeches at some local mosques (one of which he teaches at too). He always says "the beauty of Islam is in the differing opinions." I didnt get it initially, but im understanding it more and more the more i learn. SubhanAllah.

Note how he smoothly he narrates and quotes almost as if it’s his own saying. Also very on point, collected, calm. ما شاء الله absolute legend. All praises and thanks are due to Allah (S) who has created a slave like him.

What he said is not true. Its meaning is authentic. On following Prophet and his Companions is even a verse.
So if they believe in the like of that which you believe, then they are rightly guided, but if they turn away, then they are only in opposition. So Allâh will suffice you against them. And He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower. (Al-Baqarah 138).
And the following hadith from Sahih-Al-Bukhari:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Some of my companions will come to me at my Lake Fount, and after I recognize them, they will then be taken away from me, whereupon I will say, 'My companions!' Then it will be said, 'You do not know what they innovated (new things) in the religion after you."
The hadith is authentic..maybe this sheikhs istihad is wrong

Sir I am not sure if you have heard of Javed Ahmed Ghamdi from Pakistan. He is also a great scholar and a very knowledgeable person . His arguments on controversial issues about Islam and ummah are very strong and very logical. He has established an institute with the name "Almawrid" (المورد) with branches in many countries including Australia. Please try to hold a program with him also.

I have been loving this scholar from longtime. At higher levels knowledge unite. Those who climp upward sees their world as wide. Those who fight each other are those on the ground levels. This kind of scholars are necessity of the time. May Allah preserve.
English only speaking muslims have never witnessed how knowledgeable this man is, amazing man. Every time he speaks you feel like his words are purposely said and each word has some weighty knowledge in it. His Ramadan series are the greatest made for TV sermons ever.
Not sure how accurate it is but I have heard that He has a school in Mauritania where students graduate in 17 years, to qualify to study in this school you have to be able to recite Qur’an with all Qira’at by memory, you have to also have memorized Bukhari and Muslim and countless other small books. Some of us think people who have memorized Qur’an and understood Ahadith are Scholars, his standards are next level, a genius indeed.

Mashallah. That the genuine scholars still exist is a good sign because when there is none left then prepare for the greatest troubles. A time will come when the only things believers will know is the shahada. Nothing else.
I’ve been following him since 2009. What’s unique about him is that he didn’t study in one place under few scholars but have traveled to seek knowledge from Mauritania to saudi, yemen, india, and 47 other countries if I remember correctly, reminds me of what I heard about shafi’e and other scholars from the past. I would listen to his lectures and he would casually mention detailed saying of other scholars regarding very detailed issues of fetwa as if he was reading off of their books.

Im just in the beginning of the Video and the first hadith went straight in my heart. May allah be happy with me eventhough im not the best version of myself. May allah help us and give us strength. Without him we are nothing and im so grateful for every chance i get from him. Dear brothers and sisters we are blessed to have this religion and its a honor to be in the Ummah of our beloved prophet. We have to work towards the glory of old Generations were we were the benchmark in all categorys. We have the recipe to achive that with the holy koran and the hadiths. One thing I like about the scholars of Islam is that alot of the time, their answers to questions are far more nuanced than the average Muslim is prepared for (in a good way). They show a great deal of balance in their approach to the answers they give.
True. I feel this way too. Its a result of a vast knowledge. While laymen muslims typically have little knowledge in comparison it makes their view tend to be more narrow. That is my impression. Allah knows best
