I’ve been using Coral Essentials plus the Amino and Gro, since May and I’m 100% sure they’re making a difference. I use the daily drops method, at about half of what’s recommended and I plan on doing an ICP test in September. Currently my Alk, calcium and mag are dosed using Balling Light, and trace elements are added to the solutions so that’s why I’m being conservative with the Coral Essentials. If I can get even a little bit close to what you’ve achieved, I’ll be over the moon. Excellent video! 👍🏻
Thanks Sam, I have my Randy's Recipe ready to start dosing tomorrow night and I have my Trace A, B and C and I'll be adding the required amount to the recipe. This is a great video, so thanks for the learning John
Hi 👋 I want to add it to my existing 2 part calc and alk dosing containers. but I don’t know how much ml to add per litre, for the brand I use (reefx powder or red sea powder) I’m not sure about their potency, This is the info I have: Reefx calcium powder 18ml solution/100 litres raises calcium by 36ppm Ca Approximately 0.5ml solution/100 litres raises calcium by 1ppm Ca Reefx alk powder 100ml solution/100 litres raises alkalinity by 3.4dKH (1.2 meq/L) (60.7ppm CaCO3) 30ml solution/100 litres raises alkalinity by 1dKH (0.4 meq/L) (17.9ppm CaCO3)
you would be best checking with the manufacturer for a baseline, but then I would still run a few ICP tests to dial in your exact requirements over the following months

@@ParkersReef will do 👍 cheers
Triton or Ati essential program way easier. all pre mixed and no calculation needed. Black Label however works like magic! )
in fairness, the same amount of calculation is required. You still need to know the volume of your tank and how much "trace" to add per 100L
