You're absolutely up there in my favorites youtubers, not just in tech but overall. I really like your style, your color palette, choice of design, everything. And on top of that, your videos are very chill.
Most tech content creators don't make the distinction between average consumer and themselves when it comes to new products. I appreciate it. I'm a student and I use a MacBook Air M1 and a iPad Air 4th gen for schoolwork, along with good old pen and paper. I also play with digital art on the iPad. Also, do most people not have iCloud synced across devices? I rarely airdrop stuff between devices, it's all just synced, always has been, I think.
I always enjoy your videos, there's something very peaceful about them. I have a similar hardware setup (but more budget oriented), and I like how seamless it is to move between devices.
Awesome video! But kinda wrong video title though. Cheers! (I'm looking for stuff like keeping downloads folder organised, keep footage labelled, keeping memories photos and content footage separate, using finders and photos app separate (and how to do it), managing tasks like using Kanban board on Notion, etc. when I hear a title like yours: i.e, "How I stay Organised on iPad, iPhone, & MacBook Pro!") Maybe do create a video one day on how you do these things!
While I understand that this is your job, I am a bit uncomfortable with what this video says about overconsumption of tech stuff. That being said, I appreciate that you mentioned that not everyone should do that. My office job is unfortunately all on PC but I use the Apple ecosystem for everything else (maybe I should think about upgrading my 2011 MacBook Pro 😂 but I mostly do writing)
It’s a really tricky balance to get right when you’re in the tech space - I know if I wasn’t making these videos my tech would be much older and I would keep it for longer, it’s something I try and tread really carefully when talking about it
I've found recently that I can't justify the extra weight in my bag of my 11" iPad Pro anymore. Realistically most of what I use it for can be handled by my iPhone 15 Pro Max. I've even found that setting up and dismantling Sidecar often isn't worth the hassle anymore. As much as I WANT to use all of this stuff in tandem because it is very cool, the extra mental clutter, physical weighing down, and complication isn't worth maintaining anymore. I yearn for simplicity. My iPad is now just a leisure device at home. Or sometimes my sole tablet/laptop device if I'm travelling very light.
You're in my top 5 UA-camrs! Well done and thank you for your content! Can I ask you something... because you use the Microsoft To Do app, and so do I, do you experience app crashes? Anyone?
A fantastic video as usual! I was wondering, how long does it take to record all the b-rolls in your videos? You really do an amazing job to contextualise what you say and I'm trying to improve this part.
Ah thanks! So usually around 1-2 days, sometimes I have help as well, I did in this video because I appear in it so much and getting those shots alone is so hard!
@@ByteReview I imagined it wasn't a few hours work considering the quality of the shots. Thanks a lot for your quick answer and keep up with the great work you do! You are an inspiration for all of us :)
Great video, I use all apple products but this year I built a PC to see if I liked it as a workstation but I just can't get away from final cut, it's just too good!
@@ByteReview yeah once I built that pc I got resolve studio and have liked it a lot but I’m so fast in Final Cut that it’s hard to kick it to the curb!
Really nice video again! What are the advantages of Google Docs over Notion when you make bullet points for your vids? For me the Markdown functions of Notion are really powerful in this situation.
I love your videos! Can I know which is the backpack that you are using? I happen to have a 16" MacBook Pro but don't find a good overall, light backpack. Just to grab some notebooks, bring my iPad and MacBook .
Totally understandable. My ecoystem is iPhone 13 Pro + Nothing Phone + 💻 Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 14´ + 🎧 Bose QC45. I don’t plan to update but it’s nice to have a different point of view. Your products have a business purpose. Thanx for this video 👍🏿
Quick question. I’m not techy. And my work doesn’t need anything at all from a personal standpoint. But, I also help run a non profit and we upload to social media, plan events, try to figure out TikTok (I’m too old for all of this), and we’d like to start utilizing our online store (again, I’m not sure how to do any of this, but I’m what we have so here we are). I have a 13 pro max iPhone and a 9th gen base level iPad which does most of what I need. Was thinking about a MacBook to do the online store and the random things that won’t work on iPad. I’m not a creative, but kinda of pretending to be one. Worth the money to get the MacBook? Or not really?
Hello! For what you’re looking for I’d say you’d do very well if you go with an M1 Macbook Air. In comparison to the M1 Macbook Pro the only difference if that the Pro has a fan and a touch bar, while the Air has no fans and has the function keys. I personally have a M1 Macbook Air since launch day and I even do some light coding and videoediting in it, be it 1080p or 4k. This Macbook Air is a good option for you, or the M2 version, which gives you a better screen, new design and newer processor. Both of these are worth the money in terms of quality/price and they do everything you need without breaking a sweat, while also being silent and not getting hot. Hope this helps
Bro, Thanks for sharing as always 🙏 . One question, Don't you use Apple watch Ultra ? It also helps in the apple ecosystem and helps to keep productive. I recently ordered apple watch Ultra-2 😊 , I am from the old series 6 😊.
I’m confused in which purchase to make and if it’s really needed. Apple fan here. I have iPad Pro 11 inch but would love to have the 12.9 inch. I have a MacBook Pro 15 inch 2015 which is running nice but not supported, it’s used for work emails and browsing with external monitor. Now I’m thinking of getting MacBook Air m1 13inch to get back to learning to code which I used to do on my iPad but feels limited. Apple keeps releasing new things and upgrading is hectic. (Not to forget the ultra watch!). Do I need to upgrade anything honestly….? (Thought of the air for light weight and macOS with good battery life although I hate macos and love iPadOS) wondering if coding is okay for now on iPadOS.
no, you don't need to update all the time, and I don't think you should unless you need to, this is why I'm not going to the M3 MacBook stuff, I really don't need to! A MacBook Air M1 would be perfect for your needs by the sounds of it, do that and keep your current iPad
you should look into Better Help lots of horror stories and probably not something youd want to endorse. They've straight up stolen people's money and so many people booking appointments and the therapist never gets in toucn
I don’t have a MacBook if we’re to buy one and if I were to go for the cheapest option available to me, which old MacBook would do the job since I don’t want to shell out a big amount buying the new one. I only need the MacBook for some video editing for UA-cam and nothing else. also be sure to suggest the minimum storage that I should go for.

I love to read this, I try my best to just be me and talk about the tech I like while not falling into the 'tech bro' space. 😇

Great vid still waiting on the best notetaking app for iPad. Gn6 draining battery crazy.
Coming this month! It's taken a while due to there being so many apps to test!
Noteful is decent and is a one time super cheap purchase instead of a subscription
