I started mewing about 4 months ago. Even though I am only 17, I have witnessed unnaturally fast change in my face, though for the better of course. you were a huge inspiration to me Toomaazo, and I plan on making a progression video very soon here! Apologies yall, I have been extremely busy both with college and a company I started, I will try to get around to it very soon here.

Every 10 years the skull completely replaces itself. So not matter how old you are, if you have proper posture you are guaranteed a complete remodeling every 10 years after puberty.
I’m 24. I have subconsciously mewed for most of my life, but stopped about 5 months ago due to developing really bad TMJ issues from stress. After months I noticed my face became “uglier” and I couldn’t figure out why. I discovered mewing and realized I had developed bad oral posture from my condition and my face muscles had become very uneven. I have reintroduced mewing along with face yoga to regrow my face muscles on my weak side and after only 3 weeks I have seen an improvement. It’s subtle, but my face muscles are becoming even again. I think many people may just have uneven facial musculature that can be regrown relatively quickly! Also I had to get my mouth guard adjusted because my pallet has expanded a little from doing this. So I believe it works
Same, hadgood oral posture all my life, but I developed nasal congestion and breathing issues after I had nose surgery and am at times forced to mouth breathe (especially at night) which it led to my muscles weakening and one day I was like what the hell happened to my face, why do I look so bad. (puffy, droopy, long face, looking bored and grumpy, looking stupid) I developed a habit of having my jaw hanging open even with my lips sealed because otherwise if felt like I was suffocating. I feel a lot better now (just started a few weeks ago) and I even get complimented for my looks. I hope it will help my breathing and sleep apnea. 🤞
Nice shirt, great summary, the value/time ratio is off the charts. Me and my friends' 1 year of mewing(24 yo) conccur with what you say : small tissue changes, very slow bone remodeling. Thankfully the posture change, which is instant, already makes a good difference on looks and breathing. Keep it up !
I just started mewing at nearly 36 and before I did I saw a guy in my city about it. He knows the Mews well and he changed his own facial structure at around 60 soooo if this guy can do it then I have hope.
The mention of vitamin k2 is good, because a lot of people eat shitty diets that may slow down results from mewing. I started at almost 25 and have had very significant results in only 2.5 years but my diet had been high quality since I was 22 which may have helped. Post 25 is not hopeless.
Bones dont fuse up until around your 60's. At 25 though, is when the skull reaches max bone density, making it harder to remodel. I say remodel becuase your bones are done growing, there is no more guiding. The sutures or skull joints, are still not fused at 25. Just a heads up.
Another thing you can do is take a mint (preferably sugar free), hold it at the top of your mouth, and make sure you can swallow without the mint falling down. That's a good exercise to make sure you aren't tongue thrusting.

Can you do a video on orthotropic dental appliances such as the FAGGA (check out the results Ronald Ead got by week 25) or better yet the Face Puller (the only appliance which also raises the maxilla)?
started mewing a while after turning seventeen, it has been around 6 months and havent really seen any drastic changes yet, but then i dont really have a before picture so is it possible that i have improvements without really noticing? before starting mewing i didnt really know that the posture of my tounge and breathing through my mouth would make my face uglier, my face shape wasnt really "ugly" before buy yet i felt that it looked very "young" due to my not so strong jawline. Before mewing i would sometimes breath through my mouth while sleeping if my nose were a little blocked. I have found that sleeping on my back also helps me maintain the toung posture while falling asleep since the tounge wont want to drift to the side you are sleeping on
@Tomaazo I’m really interested to start mewing but I wear a retainer at nights and I heard that retainers make it very difficult to get results from mewing. Is this true?
yes its true since it makes it impossible for your tongue to push the upper palette of your mouth. dont worry tho, if you mew during the day it will be enough.
It may just be because your jaw has grown too small to accommodate your tongue, common issue. An easy way to find the right tongue posture is to smile with the tongue at the roof of your mouth and the suction should put your tongue in the right posture x
@@HayleyRobinsonhale I got the hang of it now, and I can mew very good while I sleep, and when I'm not thinking about it. Just keep doing it as much as possible, and you'll get results eventually. My small double chin is almost non existent now, and my face has slimmed down.

Hey so I know u had a night retainer after your braces right so how did u get results while u had the retainer at night did u ditch the retainer or did u use it less and less? I also have a night retainer and want to see results what should I do
There's a theory going around that says that most cranial sutures don't fuse until much later in life, plus... bone is piezoelectric, meaning it can transform mechanical stress (force/ pressure) into electricity, which promotes osteogenesis.
I've been mewing my Whole life, without even knowing it and my face looks normal. Like decent looking but none of those insane model like features mewing is supposed to give you. No strong bones or jawline, just a regular face. Mewing can probably help those who are genetically gifted already
@@reaper1781 do you realize that "mewing" is litteraly the correct tongue positioning in your mouth so there is absolutely nothing impressive in people that mew unconsciously? Mouth breathers are more impressive for that matter
Hey! I just started my mewing journey and this is my 3rd day. I'm hoping it would work and u are a great inspiration. I'm mewing all day. My question is, is it necessary to mew while sleeping? Because for me it's really difficult to breathe properly without opening my mouth while sleeping
You dont have to because usually 6 hours per day is optimal. But eventually when you are used to it, your tongue will stay in that position all day so you do not have to worry about it now
You should just be able to relax and have your tongue naturally in that position eventually. Obviously since you just started you aren’t used to it; just like I’m not used to it, but eventually it will be happening without you knowing it.
Man... It actually doesn't matter that much to me getting a "more defined face", I just want to expand my palate. Because it's narrow, I'm gonna have to do a surgery to expand it, remove my wisdom tooth that is in horizontal... And THEN put braces again.

@Ganda Gandara bro it's just gravity if you sleeping with a fat pillow, try sleeping without a pillow like you're supposed to do. Your head will be tilted downwards so your mouth automatically stays shut
@Ganda Gandara ye, mouth taping is also a legit option you should research. I learned to sleep mouth closed after 4 months with tape and now I can sleep with out it. Tho I still do it since I'm in the army and I talk/yell when sleeping :D there doesn't seem to be a cure for that

So last year I stared doing jawline exercises and then I stoped after doing it and then I seen a like more change and then to now I’m like damn I want a more define face and I looked it up and started 4 days ago I’m seeing a lil change. I’m only 16 and I’m still going through puberty!! Which I’m thinking I should see a change in the next 4 months!! And should be doing this like probably 6 months and imma still continue until I’m done. And I’m not just mewing I’m doing X-O face ,Mewing , Puffy cheeks ,Face Posture. It said do 15 wraps but I do about 30 everyday and more when I’m just bored or at school or on the bus and walking home. So yeah hopefully I can get this faster and I’m going to look up more exercises and add more to the routine
Same here bro. Lets keep hard mewing and hard chewing and in 4 or 5 years we will have model like jawline and don't worry we both will also develop naturally so hang in there
Likely even adults can change fast imo. Cause bones apparently "harden" even after developemental stages which doesnt add up logically. They get harder and harder and harder until they are essentially only cracky and useless to move from what I understand. WHich doesnt add up... Its likely the fluoride in toothpaste that makes your bones harden from my experience. If we ate like our ancestors, we wouldnt have to brush our teeth anyways (even if you think this is pseudoscience, I had experiences on my own where my tartar cleaned itself. trust me or not) Your saliva will feel better after this, and your teeth will slowly mineralize again and get white. The fluoride is merely a substitute to kill the bacteria that can harm "weak" teeth. If your teeth werent weak in the first place, the bacteria wouldnt do shit. If you had enough nutrients, tartar would not build up, thus too much bacteria wouldnt stack up. Also the more you eat high quality animal products, the less you eat in carbs and so on and your nose will unclogg and hormones get in line. So thats why some poeple mew "passively". Traditional societies also had passively a great dental arch. Focussing on mewing is bad imo, its like a skinny guy trying to stand up "straight" but hes just creating inbalances in the body with this. The teeth can change quite fast probably, depending on if you brush your teeth. Healthy bones are not cracky hard, they are strong and bendable. And overall as I said, the fact that elderlies bones harden more and more and eventually get cracky cause they are just hard, is fact enough that something isnt adding up. After developement, your bones shouldnt get harder in a bad way.
u have been applying pressure one just one side of the pallet try to control ur tongue, by applying slight pressure and then as u feel comfortable than greater pressure. try to spread ur whole tongue on the roof of ur mouth
You may notice that one side of your pallet is higher than the other. Try focusing on applying more pressure on the lower side. With fixing your posture and diligence, that should help bring your face closer to a symmetrical appearance. Good luck.
You can still improve. I‘m 26 and duo to nasal surgery got difficulties breathing trough my nose at times congestion forces me to mouth breathe (especially at night) and my face got droopy, round and so looong, not only did I look grumpy bored and stupid (people would repeat themselves even if I was just listening to them) but I had also very uneven features. Am now hard mewing for the life of me to reverse the damage and hopefully help my breathing. Nonetheless I do feel way better already with the proper tongue posture. Feel more mindful and mentally strong. :) You can always start. :)
You should still do this. It will take much longer time to see significant results but in 5-10 years from now the change will be really big. Also keep in mind that mewing prevent negative changes. Because if you don’t mew your chin and maxilla will drop with the time lower
I’ve been mewing for 5 months and I’ve seen a slight difference I look a little less chubby and my jawline expanded a little although I started mewing much more better 3 months ago is that alright?

There's a theory going around that says that most cranial sutures don't fuse until much later in life, plus... bone is piezoelectric, meaning it can transform mechanical stress (force/ pressure) into electricity, which promotes osteogenesis.

I've been mewing my Whole life, without even knowing it and my face looks normal. Like decent looking but none of those insane model like features mewing is supposed to give you. No strong bones or jawline, just a regular face. Mewing can probably help those who are genetically gifted already
Lose weight
@@Ryxxii I'm low bf already, plus strong facial features can be seen even if you are not super shredded
@@xRevTheoryx your probably not even mewing
@@reaper1781 do you realize that "mewing" is litteraly the correct tongue positioning in your mouth so there is absolutely nothing impressive in people that mew unconsciously? Mouth breathers are more impressive for that matter
xRevTheoryx wtf are u talking about
I am 21 how much time will it take to see results?
@@peternguyen5870 Thanks for clearing it. Nobody says for how long a day is optimal.
Any changes?
Man... It actually doesn't matter that much to me getting a "more defined face", I just want to expand my palate. Because it's narrow, I'm gonna have to do a surgery to expand it, remove my wisdom tooth that is in horizontal... And THEN put braces again.
ur the man
Whoelse almost puked during mewing
Hey Tomaazo,Do you mind reuploading your mewing transformation? It'll be a big help for us.
My computer that had the file got stolen :/

My tongue already rests on the top of my mouth, since I was younger.
I started mewing about 6 months ago and i did it for like 4 months and i did see results but then i got sick and it was hard for me to breath from my nose so i stopped but im back to mewing i forgot about it but now im gonna do it im 15 years old and yes i did see a fee changes

can mewing make the face more symmetrical? my face is very asymmetrical and it's a shame
I feel so stupid cause from 7th grade all the way to 9th now I never saw results but I looked it up a couple weeks ago and it was because I only had the tip my my tongue on the roof lmfaooo

I think mewing is the cure for sleep apnea
@Ganda Gandara bro it's just gravity if you sleeping with a fat pillow, try sleeping without a pillow like you're supposed to do. Your head will be tilted downwards so your mouth automatically stays shut
@Ganda Gandara ye, mouth taping is also a legit option you should research. I learned to sleep mouth closed after 4 months with tape and now I can sleep with out it. Tho I still do it since I'm in the army and I talk/yell when sleeping :D there doesn't seem to be a cure for that
what if youre mewing with missing teeth
@Will Turner no. if you dont mew after you get an extraction then you're fucked.
Kieren Abone it’s fine, I’ve had teeth taken out and I’m still doing fine. Teeth actually have really little to do with it
My cat had been mewing ever since she was born ...I can't see any changes
I didn’t have a really bad face it wasn’t like a pushed in face I had like a jawline but like it wasn’t really define. So yeah hopefully I can get this faster and I’m going to look up more exercises and add more to the routine
how to u look now? how'd it go
So I’m wondering, does mewing work for anyone older? 30,40,50? Just curious or do you have to be young?
It works but the the progress will be slower
I’m 15 and I barely started mewing I have a baby face so I hope this does something

If we ate like our ancestors, we wouldnt have to brush our teeth anyways (even if you think this is pseudoscience, I had experiences on my own where my tartar cleaned itself. trust me or not)
Your saliva will feel better after this, and your teeth will slowly mineralize again and get white.
@@sebastianszalma200 i dont get what you're trying to say
i have been mewing for 8 months now, the right side of my face is not showing the same growth as the left one. guidance is needed
Mine is the opposite, the left shows more results
I think it is because of the molar teeth getting in the way of tongue posture
Ive got the same issue
u have been applying pressure one just one side of the pallet
try to control ur tongue, by applying slight pressure and then as u feel comfortable than greater pressure. try to spread ur whole tongue on the roof of ur mouth
You may notice that one side of your pallet is higher than the other. Try focusing on applying more pressure on the lower side. With fixing your posture and diligence, that should help bring your face closer to a symmetrical appearance. Good luck.

I’m a mouth breather tho
just breathe with your nose
i wish I had known this when i was younger. I'm 24 now
You can still improve.
