    Another tip is use saline nose sprays! This has been such a big life changer for me because I can breathe through my nose much easier. I spray my nose basically hourly. It is drug free so you can use it whenever you want.

      @@JawHacks Im thinking about getting MSE sometime in the future myself. My palate is around 42mm so its not terrible. I suspect to increase my nasal breathing quite a bit after treatment but I would mainly be doing it for increased aesthetics. I was wondering if you could share the cost of the MSE with me so I know how much money to save up. Also the cost of the SFOT treatment you are doing for mandible expansion as well. I've been back-sleeping on a firm matress and it's working really well for me. I find that it's kind of like a full body stretch and once I have a proper oral vacuum I can easily mew throughout the night. My overall body posture has also benefited from it. The thing I dislike about side sleeping is that you're squishing one side of your face for 10 hours straight which causes wrinkles and causes that side to be slightly flatter.

    Note this. Just because you're waking up with the tongue on the roof of the mouth doesn.t mean you.ve been sleeping like this the whole night. Before you wake up you are in your REM stage (most people can remember dreams before they wake up) and there is also a slight increase in consciousness right before where you get to remember mewing. So you can still sleep with improper tongue posture without knowing it and then regain proper posture because of the habit as you wake up.

    1. Let some fresh air in before going to bed, this will not only cool the room but the fresh air will help you nose breathe.

    Cringe. Just close your lips. Teeth closed as well and your tounge on your roof. When you sleep it doesn't matter as long as you aren't snoring which opens up your airways.

    Your better off putting pillows under the bottom of your mattress to create an incline, this is also good for hair loss.

      How does it affect hair loss?

    • @louisronan5903
      @louisronan5903 4 роки тому +5

      S P: Well DHT which is responsible for male pattern baldness, is produced with low amounts of blood in the scalp. Increasing blood flow to the head slows/reduces hair loss. I stopped using the pillow as I found that just doing it without a pillow was enough. Look into the relationship between blood levels and DHT production. Also look at derma-rolling.

    I have tried to sleep on my back for over a year to sleep with better posture. With no pillow but a little support for my head and a neck brace. And when I go to sleep I put a tic tac on my tongue and keep my tongue at the roof of my mouth with usually little problem. I know it works for me, because when I wake up on my back my tongue still at the roof of my mouth.
    I am interested in trying the tips mentioned in the video.
    Thanks.

    I’m 15 now I used to be a mouth breather bc I used to have a condition n allergic reaction so mouth breather was always only option for me but I remember that I was trying to change at a young age bc I look or everyone that mouth breath look silly I tried but can’t n then i practice it at 9 n I stoped , but when I sleep I always sleep with my mouth open from I was young then I discovered mewing at 14 I start mewing but my mom didn’t like when I tape my mouth shut at night so I stopped for 3 month taping it sm regret n now I’m back bc I noticed that I kinda have a receding chin n no jaw unlike my sisters n my parents 🥲🥲hope I can fix it bc I’m under 16 I’ll keep mewing my whole life n also stopped talking as well

    Ive been noticing for the last yr or so that i really enjoy sleeping on my side with my arm as a pillow..n i dp not think we are supposed to use pillows at all
    Was wondering if my side sleeping is the reason i have tmj? I just cant sleep on my back, its so uncomfortable or sumtimes the air just seems to dry to sleep on my back, so ive always resorted to my side
