@@brettbianchi6706 Primo pants are ok, but just another brand sponsored by a UA-cam golfer. They ain’t Lulu’s. I own both. Primo is closer to the Druids brand for half the price.
Great information, but a little disappointed in two things Sean: 1. Which help you shoot the lowest scores?? And 2. Do each fit pretty true to size, i.e., a 34” fits like any other 34” or do they run a little bigger, smaller, etc…but #1 is way more important. :). cheers!
Have a pair of Puma pants that are great and a little thicker for really cold days but the dark horse great golf pants are the Members Mark brand. Found some awesome pants and went back for every color ($20 a pair).
Great list. I would add the Myles Apparel Tour Pants, they're excellent all-around and the weave makes them dress up better for the office than any other golf pants i've seen
I second the Myles Apparel recommendation. Great pants, love the fit and they have a line of silicone inside the waste band to keep your shirt tucked in.
Great video! Looking for some pants that breathe well when the weather is hot and humid on the course. I find that most made with synthetics do not. Thanks!
Ok, I am one of those cheap guys..I am sure these are great pants but I can’t see spending $100+ on golf pants (or any pants). My favorite golf pant is the PGA tour golf pant with the elastic waistband. They run anywhere from $30-$50. Those are my favorites, but I’m a cheap guy.
Great video! The SERRANO TROUSER by Greyson are an excellent option too, definitely look more dressy, but have a good bit of stretch. Looks great with a blazer or a button up as well. Look like dress wool pants but perform like performance. Also Bonobos Highland Tour is very durable and come in tons of fits and usually will do a lot of modern and hot colors once a season. The only complaint is a back zipper pocket that scratches your hand when you reach into it.
have you tried the Redvanly Collins (cord) or the Kent, on? Kent runs small - my 33 waist husband (slim legs) wears a Medium in Bradley but needs a Large in Kent. Trying to determine his Collins size...
Just a tip, take it or leave it, but when reviewing a product, consider giving significantly more screen time to the product and less to yourself. I enjoy hearing your commentary, but I suspect most want to visualize the product while you talk.
Absolutely hear that. It's simply a matter of time. I can give all the information and keep b-roll limited, and give everyone the buying info they need and my thoughts. To do more of this, I'd have to model all the clothes, get someone to help film - it'd add a few hours to the process. Would it make the video better? Absolutely. But it would also keep me from getting other content out. So kind of have to pick and choose my battles and where the extra time is most warranted. But totally hear you, and is something I'm always thinking about.
Tried and failed. I was invited to a golf 4 day tournament in August. It will be between 90°-105° and the club requires long pants. Man I know the answer is don’t play but I’m committed. Which pant is the coolest? I have to walk 18 holes 3 days and 36 on the 4th day. What do you recommend?
I've had a couple pairs of Western Rise pants in the past, and didn't find them to be the most comfortable. Definitely gonna need to check out the Evolution line.
You may think I am crazy, but for the price the Old Navy 5 pocket Slim Tech pants are so hard to beat. I have tried them and an they are built and wear well.
On the cheaper side, you should try Fabletics. I believe they are called "The Only Pant". I've got a couple pairs and love them and they seem to have a lot of the benefits that you mentioned in this video. If you do end up doing a video about budget pants.
My 1st spot to check for a superior pair of golf pants, is a double belt loop on the back of the pants. So much better than a single loop! Thx for the video.
I love the jack Nicklaus pants. They can be worn every day. Especially if you wear your polo or shirt in your pants. They have rubber inserts which prevent your shirt to exit your pants.
The Men's drive? I have 4 pair of those they are so confortable, a bit thin so probably wont use them everyday during winter. There always on discount in a golf store chain here between 30 to 50%
@@breakingeighty yeah, I legit love how the Ben hogans fit. I got each color and style last year. 2 khakis, 2 black pairs and a navy pair. Wear them to work every day and golf occasionally in them and they are still holding up. Definitely worth trying out especially if you play courses with lots of thorns.
Thanks for this video! Unfortunately I did not find any of these brands shipping to or selling in Germany. It's really a shame, there are a lot of cool golf products in the US (and in Japan) that are not (easily) available in Europe/Germany...
It's all good if they aren't tight around the ankles, those funky things guys are wearing now days that have elastic or Velcro around the ankles look like shit.
Golf pants should be optimized for playing golf. I don't need golf pants to wear out to dinner or a wedding. Here are features that I think demonstrate that a pair of pants are for golf: (1) Large front pocket openings. Large enough, say, for a gloved hand to extract two balls at once. (2) Waterproof pockets. I play on wet grass a lot and I don't want a cold wet spot against my thigh when I pocket a ball. (3) Anchored pockets. I should be able to extract my hand from my pocket without worrying that the pocket is going to turn inside out. The anchor should be able to be released in case I do want to turn my pocket inside out. (4) Some gripping feature for the golf shirt so it doesn't come out of the waist band. (5) Tee holder. Somewhere easily accessible, a place to slide in one or two tees. This keeps tees out of my pocket but close at hand. (6) Divot tool holder. Another convenient loop. Again, out of my pocket and close at hand.
Good stuff, nice and honest review. I DO however, wish i could find a guy my size (6’ 2”, 255 lbs), with my honkey-tonk badonkadonk, to do clothing reviews! 😬
I make pretty good money for a 24 year old and I was really looking for an under 100 dollar pair of pants. Kind of insane that literally every pair you talk about is over 100 dollars. Plus you are making some form of affiliate or commission money. Seems kind of scammy if I am being honest. I personally can't justify spending 100 dollars on a pair of golf pants.
Hey James, really appreciate this comment. A couple things. I tend to review more premium products on this channel/site, so the ones I chose are legitimately the ones I used that I think are the best of the best. I think doing a "Best Golf Pants Under $100" is absolutely something I should do, I just need to test out more stuff in that range before I can do it authentically. I hear you on the affiliate links. I have aff for 3 of the 5 products mentioned. The other two I dont get paid anything for. There are a lot of channels that do this type of content that take sponsored dollars without saying anything. I'd rather be upfront about the fact that while I do get commissions on certain products, no one has sponsored the channel to be included. This is my business and how I'm able to continue doing reviews like this. But my affiliate links don't dictate my review of the product, they're just there in case someone decides to buy and got value out of the content. All that to say, I respect the comment and get where you're coming from. Will keep this in mind in the future, and also see about doing some reviews at a different price point as well. All the best, Sean

Best pair of golf pants I’ve found lately is from RLX golf (Ralph Lauren). Perfect stretch, amazing fit, thicker material but very breathable.

Ben hogans from wal-mart for 20 bucks. Fit great, don’t hurt the pocket if something happens to them.
