I have a old Bag Boy Revolver, you can turn the top to access your clubs easier if on a push cart or a riding cart. It has a spot on each side to put a putter, driver or umbrella for quick access. It is heavy though. A cat bag with double carrying straps to make it easier to get through the parking lot. Guy Canada 🇨🇦
I've been playing golf for 50 years and the best bag for me, by far, is the Ping Hoofer Lite. All the pockets I need, plenty of room for all 14 clubs and a great functional design.
Carrying with a hoofer lite myself. It really is a solid bag. Out of the club maker branded bags, Ping seems to be the ones putting some real effort into the bag design. The callaway, titleist, taylormade and cobra bags just feel like bags.
Mid Striper checking in. After a hand me down sun mountain that i got from a coworker when i got into the game i was Sun Mountain for life. It was an old lite 2.0 or something like that. lasted me for 6 years after he had it for at least 5. Bought a mid stripe on sale and have been getting comments on it almost every round i play. Great bag, super comfy, fit everything i need.
I just got the Sunday Golf Big Rig bag and it looks great and I also have a Loma bag and it works perfectly for a range session. One day I will get a Vessel.
That Sun Mountain bag is classy, in that green leather look. Yes, expensive & I balk at the price. But I’d buy one. I’ve had a Ping Hoofer bag & I was unimpressed, the way the stand system works by a collapsing base rather than a proper foot, crowds and crushes the grips together, which is highly annoying I really didn’t like the strap system. On the positive side, the one I had was light weight. So, despite being a Ping player. I won’t have a Ping Hoofer. Very quickly sold on the one I bought. Some interesting bags in this video. Thankyou for the recommendations. For stand Bags I really like the Woode system the Ogio use in some of their bags. And personally think more manufacturers adopted this devider solution.
Another amazing video! I was on the fence with the Vessel bag and almost got it but I ended up winning a Ghost Club katana bag. Loving it so far but the Vessel Player 4 Pro bag looks amazing.
I like that except for the Hoofer you kept all the big brands out. They really are boring. I unashamedly have the Titleist Player’s 4 carbon cuz it’s so light. But I do want to get one of the better looking bags soon. Thanks for the reviews.
I got the Cobra Ultralight Pro+ on a good sale last year. It's treated me well! Fairly light and easy to walk with but it also has a great amount of pockets AND a good cooler pocket which I really wanted!
I love the marketing and looks of Sunday Golf. When I got the Ryder the left leg kept coming undone within the first round. I returned it. I love everything about their brand, but I couldn’t do it.
Nice review. I loved my Vessel players bag. I have since sold it and went with the GFore Daytona bag which is still a Vessel bag, but slightly smaller.
I have looked high and low for a SOLID review of the Sun Mountain Mid-Stripe, but have not seen one. I am in between the Mid-Stripe and the Sunday Golf Ryder...I was wondering if you could do a full review of the Mid-Stripe?
You know a lot about luxury accessories and bags. It is obvious that you have conducted due diligence and the comparison information with the United States is very rich... I live in New York, thank you very much. I like eastlisa
I’m looking at Asher, Jones or Sun mountain. I unfortunately can’t find any reviews on the new Asher bag. It’s looks AMAZING. It looks like a mix between stitch and jones in one. Please review this bag!
It also seemed to focus basically only on walking bags. Give us more about cart bags, and where’s the pencil bags. I don’t care about duffel or daypacks. Lmao
How Ogio did not make this list blows my mind. The current Ogio Woode stand bag is amazing. I've been using Ogio since 2008 and can't see myself making a switch unless something incredible was to come out.
grabbed my Ping Hoofer camo nearly 4 years ago. it has been an absolutely amazing bag. for its price and its practicality compared to the others, its the best.
Great stuff as usual…I actually got the Vessel Cart bag a few weeks ago, but the magnet pocket on the bottom right next to the ball pouch would keep flopping open…very bummed…the store didn’t have another one, so just returned it…tried the Ping DLX right before that and the carrying strap kept coming out all together and the bag would fall to the ground! Poor design…again, they didn’t have another one…looks like Ping updated the mechanism to keep that strap on better…I use a ClicGear pushcart, so weight isn’t that big a deal for me…
Ghost bag seems to target a younger adult crowd with their design logo, red flight tags, etc. Vessel seems to speak more class. This is a minor personal nit-pick: I dont like obvious ice badging on the bag that indicates that there's a cooler pocket. Also, they don't offer cart bags.
Great stuff as always. Been looking at the Vessel bags, especially the cart bag as I use a pushcart 95% of the time…currently using a C-130 on it that works great, but I somehow accumulate bags…probably since I accumulate sets of clubs and need to put them in something!
No single-strap standless bag? Probably should be a category of it's own. If there isn't a Mackenzie, Seamus or other handmade bag on the list... does the list even count? That sun mountain bag is cool though.
Hi Sean, would be great to have a review on best golf travel bag for flying. How do you get your clubs to the destination undamaged and how do you pack for international golf trips?
Cant go wrong with any of the Vessel bags they are some of the nicest in golf. BUT the Ping DLX cart bag is really nice, maybe nicer than the Vessel, and it is also very rugged/durable.
Really didn’t give us anything more than stand bags. Soooo many more bags out there. How about the Ping DLX or Traverse, many of the Sun Mountain cart bags. Mizuno has a great cart bag. Oh well…. Guess I can’t love all of your vids. Keep up the good work… this vid as an exception… love your energy and details.
Hello. Maybe you can help me. I'm looking for a new stand bag for this season. Problem is that I also often use it on a Jucad/Justar e-trolley. And most stand bags do not have a secure hold on these trolleys. Do you have any recommendations? I really only use my cart bag in bad weather and competition conditions. Otherwise, I would prefer a light stand bag for training and private laps. So a bag that sits stably on a Jucad/Justar trolley. Of course, a stand bag with a battery pocket would be perfect. But that would probably still be a thing of the future at the moment. The Bigmax stand bags have some space at the top for a support on the trolley. But unfortunately these don't fit on mine.
I went with the Ping Hoofer a couple of years ago as I felt that most of the big brand bags are so bland and boring… I love my Hoofer and feel like they were the best bang for the buck and also having more color options.
@Ghostgolfclub is an awesome carry and it’s lefty if you work double. The vessel bags are nice but they need to go to a more traditional 4 was divider. They are a little heavy though. I’m a caddy and anytime the raw weight of the bag is under 6 lbs it makes life so much easier. Classically Sun mountain and titleist are the best carry bags. Ping year in and out always carry well. Stitch is a pain, older ogio is terrible. Those Jones bags don’t hold up very well. There’s a support rob that breaks on every one I’ve carried. My srixon bag is nice but it’s heavy. Pencil bags are a pain for loopers. I always wonder if these manufacturers have ever consulted someone who actually carries them.
I like my Stich SL2. My only complaint is that the dividers don’t fully keep the clubs apart (there are gaps on both sides of the dividers) making it a bit more painful to get clubs in and out.
Where are the classic, streamlined cart bags? I don’t need a cooler pouch or pouch for shoes. 3 pouches in total might be excessive but everything has like 7 or 8+ it’s ridiculous. A jones classic with vertical reinforcement would work wonders. IE a cart bag from the 70s and 80s
Ping hoofer is horrific actually. At least the organizer top one is, 14 way top? Couldn't get more than 9 clubs in the slots without having to jam them in, constantly tangled trying to get them out. I only have midsize grips too. Just crazy they would put it out there as their main seller product.
Ghost Golf Bags in my opinion are better than Vessel. Not nearly as much marketing but their quality and design features on par if not better than Vessel and a hint more flair with their accents and logos/stitching
Am I the only one who likes the founders club premium with the molded club divider. It’s on the cheaper side and doesn’t use premium materials but the molded divider to me is worth the shortcomings.
I have been looking for a new bag that has Pink on it. I want to support my wife going though breast cancer, and have had virtually no luck. Any suggestions? Don't mind custom either.
There is a seasonal Penfold bag and I’ve seen pink Mackenzie customs. You could also try Jones with customization in the stitching. Wishing you and your wife all the best.
The ultimate multifunctional golf trainer and very useful accessory is undoubtedly the STOW STICK. Not only does it enhance my golf skills, it also ensures the safety and organization of my golf gear while I play. I recommend keeping it in your bag, I’m glad I do…
a bag needs to be well made and functional, ive a sun mountain it ticks all the boxes, colours and all that jazz dont bother me,and its very comfortable on the body.if its pink and does the job ill carry it.keep in from the cars,

Sun Mountain C130 Cart bag is the one for me. Tons of pockets, well designed and durable as well.
Love my Sun Mountain C-130S. As a vet, it's fun to have one in a camo colorway, and I love that it has velcro areas for all my stupid moto patches.
the 2024 sun mountain C-130 is very nice their best ever i would say worth checking out cheers from Canada
I just got the Sun Mountain Mid-Stripe last month. It's a great bag!
Totally agree!
I just got the Sunday Golf Big Rig bag and it looks great and I also have a Loma bag and it works perfectly for a range session. One day I will get a Vessel.

Love my Sun Mountain C130 cart bag ....Great review !!
The variety of textures in the kislux pack is impressive. From smooth leather to textured suede, there's something for everyone.
I love my Hyper Orange Ogio bag, it really stands out and keeps my gear very organized
Do you play the Ogio Woode 8 divider?
Ogio woode silencer 😍
I have looked high and low for a SOLID review of the Sun Mountain Mid-Stripe, but have not seen one. I am in between the Mid-Stripe and the Sunday Golf Ryder...I was wondering if you could do a full review of the Mid-Stripe?

Ask Echo makes a heck of a silent cart bag. The putter well is huge too. I can fit 17 clubs no problem will zero clatter to my forged irons.
I’m looking at Asher, Jones or Sun mountain. I unfortunately can’t find any reviews on the new Asher bag. It’s looks AMAZING. It looks like a mix between stitch and jones in one. Please review this bag!
Callaway fairway 14 stand bag is my favourite at the moment.
Been looking at that one as well. The Callaway 14L does not have the logo and is even cheaper at just $200.
Would be great if you showed the bags for more than 3 seconds. Less of your face more of the bags
I was just thinking the same thing maybe a different angles show the storage thats a good idea

How about a stand bag that works well on a cart?
Great Video; new subscriber. I use my Sunday bag for the driving range.
Im looking for a leather cart bag. My last one went 20 years, i switched to a Bagboy and it lasted 2 years. I dont need to worry about weight.

Thank you! Yes exactly, it is 100% subjective. So everyone should do their own research, but this is my take!
Love your videos and website! Keep it up.

I can’t find that Jones color way that you have? Gray with the turquoise pull tabs? Did they get rid of it? I love that one.

Did you test Ogio bags at all?
No he didn’t. He’s clearly being incentivized to talk about only a few brands…
Have you done a review on the G/Fore Daytona bag?
Ghost golf bags beat them all. Hands down!
Great vid! Any suggestions on a bag with a built in cooler & minimum of 8 club divider? A stand bag preferably
The 8 club divider part is tricky. But out of the ones I've tested I'd go for one of the Vessel Player IV series bags with the 14 way divider.
Bag Boy Chiller Bag with 14-way top
@@breakingeighty thank you!! As long as it's over an 8 club divider that would work for me. Appreciate you!
Check out the Ogio Woode 8. Ogio has good bags. I'm surprised they did not make the list.
Nike air hybrid 2 was pretty nice
I was looking for this yesterday!
Love my Jones bag. The cooler pouch is amazing. I hate the straps on it though, but I push anyways so not a deal killer.

I like my Stich SL2. My only complaint is that the dividers don’t fully keep the clubs apart (there are gaps on both sides of the dividers) making it a bit more painful to get clubs in and out.
The ping hoofer lite is easily the best bag ever. I own 2 and need a third
Great review. Are any of these other than sun made or assembled in usa?
Where are the classic, streamlined cart bags? I don’t need a cooler pouch or pouch for shoes. 3 pouches in total might be excessive but everything has like 7 or 8+ it’s ridiculous. A jones classic with vertical reinforcement would work wonders. IE a cart bag from the 70s and 80s
@thegolfnerd What about the best bag for lefties to carry?
What stand bag would you say is best for mainly cart use? I like the synthetic leather bags and love the mid stripe sunmountain. Any thoughts? Thanks!
Also, which bag has the flattest top. The bags with the slant club rack seem to be harder getting clubs out when stand bag is in cart.
