Luke takes us through what makes the Godox Knowled lineup a real contender for top spot in the film and broadcast lighting space. The MG1200BI is a feature rich light with a brand new G mount mounting system and with a set of pretty impressive modifiers, it offers an exciting new ecosystem for professionals on set.

Excellent explanation! Thank you :)
Any comments on the loud ass fan noise that can disrupt audio recording?
Wait!!!! Isn't this the Nanlite/Nanlux guy speaking?
It is yes... I left nanguang back in 2022 and now head up the lighting department at ProAV :-)
Good video, but hard to grasp the size of the lights. Showing someone holding the light would give a good reference for the size.
Projector dimensions: 378 x 579 x 354 mm
External controller dimensions: 162 x 190 x 372 mm
Projector weight: 16 kg
External controller weight: 6.68 kg
How come your test gave 43.100 lux and Gaffer and Gear got 27.300 lux at the same 3 meters and 45 degree dish? That's quite a difference!
I can't explain that, happy to share a video on our testing methods, we use a sekonic c800 and test in darkness at 3m. Ive message andrew to ask if he knows why there might be such a difference in results. We have no alliances with any brand so no reason to bump up scores, I will dig into it and get you an answer.
So after speaking with Andrew we have both found across a range of individuals testing there have been some vary results ranging from 27k up to 50k. Looking at the difference between how I tested and Andrew did, he takes the reading off centre away from the hotspot... I took it centre in the hotspot where it will be brightest, this would explain the variance. Hope that helps
Plus and Minus Green?
