Ms. Lisa, This is a Thank You note (capital T, capital Y). I have been sharing your wonderful UA-cam videos with my ESL students for one year. What they most want to learn is pronunciation. They especially enjoy the videos with Drake informally teaching vocabulary in interesting surroundings. Your videos are simply excellent, informative and enjoyable. Again, on behalf of my intermediate ESL students, many thanks. Ann

Fantastic video. When I started learning English I focused on learning the American English and I used to consume content in American Englisy and speak with Americans all the time. Naturally, I began to pick up the American pronunciation and was very proud of the way I spoke. The problem is, I moved to England which is where I currently live and after a few years I began to lose my "American pronunciation and accent". Unconsciously, I began to change my pronunciation from American to British and now it's kind of a mess. When I speak with people around me who are British my accent is kinda British otherwise it's more americanised. I can't help it. The environment where you live will deeply affect your pronunciation.
