The Son-Rise Program is a loving, accepting, home based approach that parents use to connect with their children and help them emerge from autism and other developmental disorders.
Pediatrician Wendy was in denial about her son Patrick's Autism. Using The Son-Rise Program of the Autism Treatment Center of America, Wendy and her husband Keith were able to fully recover Patrick from Autism. They ran a Son-Rise Program in their home for a year. Patrick was non-verbal and lived in his own world. Now he is fully recovered from autism. He is at the top of his class at school, has a rich social and family, and the entire family has benefited from The Son-Rise Program.

The Son-Rise Program Start-Up is a 5-day group training program for parents, relatives and professionals looking to facilitate meaningful progress in their children (ages 18 months through 60 years) challenged by Autism, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD), Asperger's Syndrome, High Functioning Autism and other related developmental difficulties.
Exciting, inspiring and diverse presentations by a group of seasoned and dedicated teachers, will deliver to you the autism strategies, expertise, motivation and knowledge honed through years of working with thousands of families and children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. At the end of this course, you will have all the tools necessary to design and implement your own home-based Son-Rise Program, as well as the skills and attitude to impact your child's growth in all areas of learning, communication, development and skill acquisition.
The Son-Rise Program Start-Up is designed to help those with children of varying ages, from 18 months through 60 years, with a wide range of developmental difficulties, most commonly Autism Spectrum Disordesrs and Pervasive Developmental Disorders.

This is a great story. My son was diagnosed at 2, we did ABA for 3 years. When he started school at a top private college he was screened by their OT and speechie; neither raised any concerns even though he can present as quirky. He has flourished, is academically gifted, has a great circle of friends and is always described as sociable and engaging. The key is early and intensive intervention. Parents need to have hope that there are effective treatments out there.
Truly amazing to see such love and devotion with this program that can help put the missing pieces of the puzzle in place. you're truly an inspiration to so many out here. God speed to every single family dealing with autism. Such a beautiful glorious light at the end of such a dark tunnel.
As for ABA - I enrolled him in that after we finished the better part of the Son-Rise program. Mostly just because I felt guilty and thought I should continue to do something. I quickly pulled him out after a short while as he started to regress (!!) while in that program.

What a great kid!
I want to know more about this program and where i can get it.. my 18 month old has a lot of signs for autism.. but I am in denial too! I want to hear her voice, I want her to understand everything i say.. i want my baby to play with other kids.. I am desperate!! I feel crushed, I am always crying because no mom want this for her child 😭😭😭

Patrick's Mom is answering this question for you. The space for a comment doesn't allow for the whole answer so it's in three parts: Patrick did do some speech therapy - most of it before the Son-Rise program with very little progress seen.
Could I know please if u had to bring ur son to ABA classes or occupational therapy or even used speech pathologist to help ur son, or u just helped him by ur self by son rise program?
this is not cured but significant improvement. he is now high functioning
