I'm 22 years old. I was born in 2001. I live in Brazil. I inherited my good taste in music from my parents and uncles. I don't know what I would do completely without access to these relics of music from the flashback era. The internet unites the past with the present in a way that gives us a feeling of nostalgia related to the longing for what we didn't experience, but it's as if it had been real. I have the impression that I lived the 80s intensely, while I was young during that period, and I danced and hummed madly and happily, in 84, to this song, as if it had been the soundtrack of my life. Fico impressionado de como os anos 80 foram sem dúvidas os melhores da história, época de ouro que não voltará, tenho orgulho de ter nascido em 1984, e tenho muito mais orgulho de curtir essas melodias magníficas até hoje, para mim Alphaville entre outras como The Smiths, Cindy Lauper, A-ha, Depeche Mode, Billy Idol, entre outras bandas magníficas dos anos 80 são as melhores

I was a kid in the 80s, and love to today quite a bit of 80s music, but somehow this epic, beautiful, celestial masterpiece escaped me, and I'm so glad I've discovered it from YT, and the video is exquisite, half men half women dancing in clouds, so poetic and resonant to my own self. That's a difficult song to sing for a guy as well, and what poetry the lyrics are. The 80s and 90s were such a fertile, sophisticated time for chart music.
