- Here's a look at the data that is logged by the Bosch motors. We did not perform a service of the motor, but I got to see the service checklist.

Hi, I have a Bosch Performance Line CX, and a few days ago it began to make a noise, mostly on emtb o turbo mode but only at climbing.... Similar to a coffee grinder. How can I know the kind of bearings or kit I need to replace? Thanks a lot
there is dealer in my country, can i do this at a bosch center for cars? would they use the same software?

Support levels can only be altered using the Nyon display, which is found on pretty much no emtbs. The settings are stored in the display, not the motor-unit, unfortunately. There has been talk about and update to allow adjusting support levels on the Kiox, perhaps it will come on the rumored 2022 Kiox display...
where can we get this software as i would like to do my own maintenance?
Where can we get the software? We need it in Romania, too. Worldwide there are ebikes.

There is no other way to update. Since if I have to pay every time any of the updates come out, I ask in a store and it costs me about 40 euros, which I do not recommend to anyone, because if we have a cell phone and to update it they will charge you it would be a business but I think Nobody would update the phones and more at this price, do not have enough grace for your response, if it exceeds something, comment me a greeting
I think this software should be available to the public. I like to put a 27.5 tire on the rear of my 29ers. It increases torque. Makes steep climbs easier, and the tailend lighter to kick around turns. I have a purion display. I cant alter wheel circumference, and the bike shop won't.
@@EMTBVideos Even at the limited speed its a bit too slow to safely take a jump. You take a jump too slow you case it.
My e-bike its too heavy to get the safe approach speed for the doubles. To top it off I like to run the 27.5 wheel which further reduces the limit. I could put the 29 back on but my angle wont be right for jumps.
People hate e-bikes for the wrong reason. They are not fast at all. The anti consumerism makes owning one a nightmare. If the limit was 25 instead of 20 I think less people would be apt to wanting to mod them. 25 is just a touch undermost peoples max 28 would be ideal though.

Do all Bosch service centers have the same screen view as you when doing a firmware update. Will it show the advantage of upgrading to the new firmware. A description/ text file telling what will change before installing the New firmware.

To connect the bike to the computer, do you necessarily need the usb A usb C cable, supplied by Bosch ?
or does any USB A USB C cable work?
It's been years since I had a look at this. But I've got this memory of some sort of a hardware key unit needed to access the computer software. That could have been attached to the USB cable.

Surely altering wheel rolling circumference to match the fitted wheel only means the Purion then reads correctly and it doesn’t me the cut out speed was wrong, just that the speedo was inaccurate.
EMTB Videos As far as I know altering wheel rolling circumference makes no difference to speed cut out. It’s simply Speed displayed it alters.
Me neither. Logically the wheel size must affect the cut out speed. I guess we need answers from Bosch.
I am having trouble when I change the wheel diameter it does not save the reading I put in . How do you save it ? as my speedometer is out and it cuts out at 21 km as well . but my bike say 25 km

Altering wheel size on the display will only have a minor effect. It sounds like you've got a 27,5 bike with the wheelsize set to 29 in the motor. You need to visit a shop to change this.
@@EMTBVideos Yes that is exactly it and I work at the bike shop but don't know how to change it . I change it but it do not save onto the bike and my display I can't change it on it has to be the computer. I need to learn how to do this .

Can I download such a program for home and update the parameters of my e-bike on my own?
This program is for dealers only, they need a hardware key to use it. I don't know of any software for the end user.

perhaps with the help of some display you can configure the bus correctly? since the help is disabled by gps at 22 km, this is not correct

would be nice to be able to hack the software to bypass the stupid 19 mph limiter.
if your before smart system just move the sensor and magnet from the gear wheel to the cranks..
one turn off the crank is many turns of the rear wheel

This tool is only available for certified shops. I haven't seen any end users getting hold of it.

It's only available for certified shops, as far as I know.
If you want more about the software, it actually will not be useful, or diagnosing only. But if you further want it for personal usage, I can be of help.
