I talked with Trent about 5 yrs ago when he was playing for Birmingham,he is a really nice guy ,it's hard to accept that someone who you care about will take advantage of you ,Trent certainly has recovered from that much better than I did .I loved watching thunder and lighting in the backfield

Most runningbacks are a product of their offensive line and that's what Trent Richardson found out in the nfl

Yes and that hole gets a lot smaller in the NFL rather than in college. NFL running back once told me that in NFL you have to make your own hole rather than in college where there is a view in NFL it’s generally not there. With DB’s so big and running that fast it gets much harder. I can’t imagine.

This reminds me of a story my gramps told me. He was working as a salesman selling stereos at a store in Akron during the late 80s early 90s. He comes in one day and a young guy who works there just put in his two weeks. My old man asks why because the guy is young, black, not from money and he'd never mentioned looking for other work. Turns out his brother played running back at Michigan and got drafted, I believe in the first round and he was gonna be his "assistant. Idk who drafted him but the guy blew out his knee and that was all she wrote. Idk if he even made it to the start of the season. Roy Jones Jr. And Emmit Smith are also from Pensacola

Trent was an AMAZING KID, i had the pleasure of watching him play at Myrtle Grove, HE WAS A BEAST.. and one of the best kids ever, humble, polite, and respectful. He never complained and always does what's best for others, never putting himself ahead of those who are less fortunate. I wish him everything, again amazing person.

One of the things that always pissed me off about this situation was that it wasn't just Trent, the teams he was on were dogshit. Everyone loved to laugh at Trent missing holes, but never wanted to talk about the Colts OL not doing their job half the time. Or the Browns just being terrible and trading him for no real reason.
Just sucked seeing one of my favorite players get shafted on and off the field. We were robbed of seeing a great.

I think it all went south because he was drafted by Cleveland. If Tom, Brady had gone to Cleveland instead of the Patriots...there would be no such thing as Tom Brady.
I was just thinking about him. The knock was that he wasn't hitting the gaps like he should. I saw him play when he was with the Titans, I couldn't understand why he was juking and jiving so much. He was STOP running and go into the micro dance routine, the pocket would collapse and the LB would close the gap and get the tackle. I'm thinking it was a confidence thing because he has EVER skill to have been one of the greats.

Trent Richardson family didn’t help but what hurt Richardson in the pros was where he ended up. The Cleveland browns offensive line was garbage and he still rushed for nearly 1000 yards in his first season, then he gets traded to the colts and his carries are cut in half. The poor guy got screwed over from day 1.

Richardson was always one of the most puzzling busts. I thought he would be a stud in the NFL and it just never materialized. I love to hate on Bama as a Tennessee fan, but damn it was fun watching the Bama run game on those early Saban teams from Ingram through Lacy, and Richardson was the best of them. That was the way football should be played - a couple of studs at RB behind a big O-line imposing their will, a decent QB throwing to some big, fast WRs, and a juggernaut defense.
I know the 2011 team wasn't undefeated with that close loss to LSU, but I'd put it up there among the top 5 college teams of all time. They'd absolutely compete with 95' Nebraska, 01' Miami, the best of those USC teams, 18' Clemson, and 19' LSU. I'd give anything to see the contrasting styles of 2011 Bama against 2019 LSU and see who comes out on top.

And honestly, his big heart that got his money tied up is on a whole nother level of poverty you can't live with your family like that, loving them while struggling with them so badly day in & day out, and think about devastatingly leaving them in that alone, especially when you're the only person that made it out. But you're right, its something I'm thinking about before I reach major success, so I appreciate the universe guiding me here to this video. Help with extra maybe, in reasonable ways, but don't be their solution. Trent has a saying now, You are your way out, so are they with themselves. Much Love for the message. I love you Trent!! I knew he was a me in high school and he was definitely gonna make it, even though I didn't act like a desperate goofy, I always secretly supported that man. Prayer is everything.
